I never thought I’d ever get into Pokémon. I never really understood it, only experience I ever had really was when I was a little human and I played Smash Bros. with my friend and I always played as Lucario, and then they showed me their Pokémon cards, and once or twice they let me play on their game boy and play Pokémon Emerald or Ruby, I cannot remember which.

My favorites at the time were Lucario, Mimikyu, Eevee, and finally Taurus, that much I remember.

It’s been well over a decade since then.

Little over a week ago I bought Pokémon Legends of Arceus…

And now I have a problem; I cannot stop playing it. I’ve played it for over 10 hours, and I cannot get enough.

I’m having so much fun running around just filling out my Pokédex and completing side quests! Some reason I enjoy stopping and talking to the two little kids whenever I’m in the village.

I only just now, just barely defeated Kleavor, Lord of the Woods, after 10+ hours I’ve been so distracted.

I chose Rowlet as my starter, and he’s evolved into Dartrix and I absolutely love him.

I caught Eevee as my third Pokémon, and he just turned into Espeon. I love him as well.

My team currently consists of: Dartrix, Espeon, shiny Ponyta, Alpha Floatzel, Alpha Drifblim, and Luxray. I feel like it could be way better, I just can’t decide on who I should trade out and with what Pokémon…

I love this game so much and have enjoyed getting into Pokémon. It’s fun and so interesting!

Only problem I have with Arceus is all of the dialogue. There’s a loooot and my A.D.H.D. brain can only focus on so much 😅

Because of this one game, I now have a new fixation and will be broke faster than I know it…

Day 1 - We were suffering from jet lag and a bit out of it. However we got my early. Popped to our local 7eleven, got breakfast and ate it back in our hotel. Then headed to DenDen town and started some anime shopping! On our way we stopped in Bic Camera (the first of many on our trip) on the search of nreal glasses.

We shopped most the day and then headed back to the hotel to rest a little before the Pokémon cafe in Osaka. We've done the Tokyo one and wanted to try the Osaka one. It was really strange as it was in a huge designer department store. It felt weird going through the Gucci shops to get to the Pokémon café 🤣 but we made it.

Honestly we were a little disappointed. The Osaka one was much smaller and less decorated. The menu was pretty small, and although I enjoyed my meal, Matt didn't like his much. I would say if your have choice, do the Tokyo one over the Osaka one.

However I'm glad we did it and then we headed over to Dotonburi and I saw CHIITAN!!! I was so freaking excited. We then headed back to the hotel to get a good night sleep!
