Pokémon mistery dungeon headcanon!

CONTAINS SPOILERS FROM EXPLORERS OF THE SKY

(because i replayed it)

Personally, i think that the reason why Grovyle says "sorry" always before taking one of the time gears is because his mate (Aka the mc) told him to, because with his personality, Even as kind as he is, he's described a Lot as someone who doesn't waste any time and i think i'd be cute

Also, i'll add, that the reason why he could evolve was because of the mc, as in the games it's obvious that while alone is harder for Pokémon to evolve than when they're with trainers and we even see it in the postgame

Oh, and also, i like to think that a version of the mc, being human again, is back in the future, as it became a separate timeline of sorts

The Pokémon games that hace good writing are the mistery dungeon ones also 5 gen

Ok I'm about to go on a rant and i want you to know - it's nothing against you. I just have a LOT of opinions about gen 5 I need to get out.

The Mystery Dungeon games are good because the main character is allowed to speak. I.E, there's an actual main character. Plus there's not some hamfisted philosophy getting in the villains way.

However, I maintain that gen 5's story fucking sucked.

Like, wow, cool! A game that tackles the ethics of pokemon battling! That sounds genuinely interesting - oh, wait, nevermind, they immediately undermined that question by villain-batting the people who are raising that question in the first place.

That's not good writing. That's some of the laziest, hackneyed writing ever. That's the shit I expect from the X-Men movies - y'know, where they villain-batted a HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR FOR THE SAKE OF A CHEAP MORAL THAT VILLAINIZES VICTIMS OF ATROCITY!

How am I supposed to take gen 5's moral pondering seriously when the game contrives reasons for N's plans to constantly fail? How am I supposed to take Ghetsis or Team Plasma seriously when they're just PETA ripoffs?

How am I supposed to take this very interesting ethical question seriously when the game itself refuses to take it seriously?

How am I supposed to take gen 5 as a whole seriously when it's clearly just a venue for GF to spitefully snipe at PETA?

It doesn't help that the rest of the series goes out of its way to undermine that ethical question even further.

Mega evolution? Why, it's a more powerful evolution that can only be achieved through THE BONDS OF TRAINER AND POKEMON!

Z-moves? Yes, indeed, that requires a BOND BETWEEN TRAINER AND POKEMON!

Dynamax? I...ok, that one's just really lazy in general. Like, what? It's Eternatus' energy being spewed all over the place? Honestly, I didn't care enough to pay attention.

PLA? In that game, it turns out that it's totally ok for humans to capture and use pokemon in battles because ARCEUS LITERALLY FUCKING ORDAINED IT!

Like...how am I supposed to take gen 5 seriously when everything before and after it goes out of its way to undermine that ethical question? And in PLA's case, offers the most bullshit "divine authority" justification for pokemon battling?

How am I supposed to take this game seriously when the conclusion of the story just pats me on the head and tells me I was already doing the right thing, rather than forcing me to face internal biases? Like a GOOD ethical question is supposed to do?

Just...why? Why?

My first consolle was a green game boy color, that I bought 21 years ago (omg. Really: OMG) with Pokémon yellow version.

I'm so in love with the Pokémon brand. I never stop to play with their games.

After Pokémon yellow, I played Pokémon crystal, Pokémon sapphire, Pokémon platinum, white, X, moon, ultramoon, and now shield.

I really like their spin off too! I adore Pokémon Conquest: the game, the fan art, OST.. It's an amazing game!

Other spin off I played were the mistery dungeon series, Pokémon ranger and the original Snap.

Another game series I'm in, is Monster Hunter. My first version was Monster Hunter tri for the Nintendo wii. After that I played Monster hunter freedom unite (it's sooooo amaaaaziiiing!!!), monster hunter 3U, MH 4, MH generation and the generation unite.

I recently downloaded the demo of Monster Hunter Rise. I find it has a magical atmosphere, which catches the eye and renews the passion for this title.

On my switch (lite) I had Animal crossing. Omg, it's so cute and relaxing! The villagers are unique and wow!! Wow!!

I also have Doraemon story of season. So relaxing too! And Doraemon is so heartwarming.

Stamattina ho fatto della pasta con la farina di tritordeum. Ho preparato anche della pasta frolla con farina di grano tenero con una percentuale di burro più bassa del solito, ci ho fatto dei biscotti.

Oggi pomeriggio ho letto un pochino. Per ora sto giocando solo ad Animal Crossing con la Switch.

Ricapitolando. Attualmente al pc vorrei finire la conquista estrema con il clan del Cavallo su Northgard per poi riprendere BioShock Infinite che ho avviato una/due volte massimo. Altri titoli che ho da giocare su pc sono Gris, Frostpunk già provato, Ghost of a Tale, Grim Dawn(considero Dungeon Siege 2 finito anche se mi si bloccò il vecchio computer durante la battaglia finale...), Celeste direi di no per il momento. Arriverà a fine anno Impostor Factory. Su Switch ho Breath of the Wild e Pokémon Mistery Dungeon, oltre ad Animal Crossing. Quando uscirà Xbox Series X, sempre che io la prenda come ho detto che vorrei, ci sarà il nuovo Hellblade. Potrò recuperare Assassin's Creed Odissey ma visto quanto durano penso che passerò direttamente a Valhalla che mi intriga di più. Metro Exodus, Ori and the Will of the Wisps. Senza contare la convenienza di Xbox Game Pass.
