The setting is SO magical I’m assuming it’s inspired by Venice and I’ve always thought Venice is so beautiful… the villains are hot and they made me gay (plus one of them had an espeon, one of my favorite Pokémon). Also the end always makes me cry, I can’t do this really to this day I’m still too emotional. I also love the sibling relationship between Latios and Latias, I always say we need more siblings in media. Their relationship is touching. Ash, Misty and Brock are their usual perfect selves, nothing much to add there. Basically this movie is charming, sad, fun, and so magical and epic and cool TO ME. so there you have it.

Professor Layton and the Eternal Diva:

THE videogame movie. No videogame movie is better. An animated movie! With puzzles in it! And the original voice actors! And it's plot relevant! And it has the best mixture of nostalgic vs. new music for the soundtrack! Epic battles! Also, because it's a Layton thing, you cry at the end!!

Consider: Celebi also has "Ooo shiny" syndrome and only enough self control to not strand herself somewhere in the process

Celebi's one saving grace is that she's got a get out of jail free card in the form of her ability to time travel being baked into her very being. She can go anywhere and everywhere she wants, so long as there's nobody with greater temporal power around preventing her from doing so... And Dialga pretty much owes her a life debt at this point too, so she's not getting in trouble for stepping on his toes anytime soon.

Palkia doesn't like her enough to allow her to cross into alternate dimensions very often, though, so she isn't able to timeline jump as much as she'd prefer. That doesn't mean she doesn't try, of course!

... What do you mean she's in spatial prison because she saw a cool alternate timeline she wanted to check out and now she needs bail money because Palkia caught her. Celebi we talked about this---

i think Xerneas and Yveltal will get new forms in Z-A like Dialga and Palkia did, I don't think they'll be Megas

Gen 6 also introduced Primal Reversion in ORAS, with Groudon and Kyogre taking on Mega Evo-esque forms so long as they were holding their respective orbs - i think that's what we'll get with Xerneas and Yveltal in this game, the ability to shift into ancient, more powerful states

i think there's also a possibility they'll add a fourth as a trio master (the A in the title, which is shaped sort of like the Ultimate Weapon but has a leaf-like patterning to it contrasting Zygarde's geometric pattern in the Z, with all four of them having some kind of tie to the weapon's function)

And set it in the future (it would be an insult to give us such a futuristic reveal trailer just to set it in the past) and don’t use “it already got a Mega lol” as an excuse to not use any Hoenn starters in the starter trio (and just in general, give us a Hoenn starter especially if you’re also gonna give us a Sinnoh starter, I need to know there’s an option I would willingly pick if you have to use Snivy and Piplup in the trio)
