@absoltastic has spoken!! You know what that means… Safari Week is soon upon us!!
Safari Week is a shiny hunting event where you hunt in a Safari Zone! Finding a shiny is fun enough, now with the added thrill of the Pokémon potentially running away!!
Note: The Friend Safari in X and Y is not technically a Safari Zone, so while you can hunt there if you want, it’s not quite in the spirit of the event.
Here’s some Safari Week compilations from TheSupremeRk9s, absolblogspokemon, sonikks, and gen3hunter!
If this seems interesting to you, hope to see you out in the Safari June 2nd-11th!
Bonus tips: Get a White Flute and a Pokemon that knows Illuminate at the front of your party (Chinchou, Lantern) and your encounters will be doubled! In the Hoenn Safari Zone, you can bunny hop on the Acro bike to avoid being kicked! In the Great Marsh, have a Pokemon who knows Sweet Scent to make encounters faster!

Sinnoh Elite Four + Champion
Once you’ve battled your way through all eight gyms and the caves of Victory Road, you can finally face the elite four and the champion.
As always, you have to fight all of them in a row, so stock up on potions and other items and take on the challenge!
(To learn more about this project, you can check out the Peaks of Sinnoh tag!)
The first member of the elite four you’ll face is...
Aaron
Aaron is still at the front of Sinnoh’s elite four challenge, and is as enthusiastic as ever about the awesomeness of bug types. His team consists of Yanmega, trash cloak Wormadam, Heracross, Vespiquen, and Drapion.
Next up:
Diana
Inspired by her older sister Cynthia, Diana has become a powerful trainer and the Sinnoh region’s first master of fairy type Pokémon. She’s the youngest member of the elite four, and is always excited to take on new trainers. To move on, you’ll have to best her team of Clefable, Azumarill, Gardevoir, Sylveon, and Togekiss.
After you’ve defeated Diana, you’ll challenge...
Volkner
At the insistence of his friend Flint, Volkner left gym life behind to challenge stronger trainers as a member of the elite four. He’s more engaged by the challengers he receives in his new role, but he’s still skeptical of your ability to show him an impressive battle. But once you defeat his Lanturn, Raichu, Electivire, Luxray, and Magnezone he’s definitely impressed.
You’re nearly there! The last member of the elite four is...
Fantina
Fantina retired from being a gym leader to travel the world, but was unable to stay away from the battle arena for long. Upon her return to Sinnoh she became the most powerful member of the elite four, taking on each new challenger with Mismagius, Gengar, Gourgeist, Froslass, and Drifblim.
Now, brace yourself. This is the last challenge between you and the hall of fame. It’s time for you to face...
Champion Dawn
The champion is thrilled to see you! She knew she saw the spark of a master trainer in you.
If you can defeat Dawn and her partners--Luxray, Glaceon, Lucario, Garchomp, Blissey (holding a Chople Berry), and Empoleon--you will be the new strongest trainer in Sinnoh. Congratulations!
Associate Professor Larch joins Dawn to induct you into Sinnoh’s hall of fame. They congratulate you, and now you have completed the Sinnoh League.
The next morning you will wake up back home in Twinleaf Town, where Matilda and Cato will be waiting to congratulate you. Now you’re free to travel the region however you like! Will you master Pokémon contests? Cook the perfect poffin? Challenge the battle frontier? Challenge the trainers of the league to rematches? It’s all up to you!
Thank you for following Peaks of Sinnoh <3

How The Grand Underground (Almost) Saved Shining Pearl
Pokemon Platinum was the game that got me back into the franchise after a decade’s long hiatus. It was a gift from a friend along with a DS Lite and I was immediately sucked into the Sinnoh region and its Pokémon. I was able to take on Giratina with a Piplup and turned said devourer of worlds and chaos entity into a spoiled pet that liked walks in Amity Square and lots of poffins.
When…

Deep siiiiiiigh... For PokeSpe: Legends Arceus, I think that in order to give them actual direction and specific things to do, I would need to incorporate the changes BDSP made to the original DP games into the future/present party's storyline. Problem is that I didn't get those games as they REALLY don't seem to be worth it given that I already own Pearl and Platinum. Therefore I don't really know what those changes are. Looking at the list, there really does seem to be some interesting possibilities... But I just don't really want to get those games. >.<
Though looking at the list, they seem to have made a lot of changes to the contests... And the idea of Emmet being forced into participating in a Pokemon contest REALLY tickles me!

Hi sorry I need to do some more Pokemon posting bc this is the funniest shit. the cute-looking Pokèmon TCG series is making "TM10" part of its branding. Like, TM10 from the games - its the TM for the move Hidden Power, thats cute! Its reflecting the main character discovering herself in the same way the move works in the game, what a cute little detail!
Except uh. Just one problem.
Game Freak in all their brilliance removed Hidden Power from the franchise four years ago in Generation 8* and its still not able to be used in Scarlet and Violet. Its not just that you cant teach it to Pokèmon anymore, you straight up cannot use the attack even if you trade in Pokèmon from older games who know it. Its like a banned technique.
So then that begs the question – if the TCG show is gonna be referencing TM10 this much, but TM10 *isn't* Hidden Power anymore, surely that means TM10 is another similarly inspiring attack - Stored Power, or Calm Mind, or Smart Strike?
Well, depending on if its Gen 8 or 9, I hope the kids will have fun Discovering Their Own Magical Leaf and/or Discovering Their Own Ice Fang. Truly inspiring words. love how well managed this franchise is
