When i talk about separate ideals

idk if anyone watched sarah shauer back when i did but they uploaded a divorce celebration video where they got kitshy divorce merch and read anti relationship posts (or something like that) and i tried putting it on around her (or even i recommended it?) and she got all anxious and said “i dont like thinking about divorce”

And especially typing it out like that, i get where she’s coming from, but she’s also unmarried and for someone who prides themselves on preparation and being realistic why are you afraid of it? Especially when the main point was like. just peoples postive experiences advocating for themselves and getting out of a bad or just unhappy situation

she would say she was left leaning at least socially but then believe traditionalist shit that was convenient and she never vibed with anything besides a nuclear family model

i’m still so hung up because we called each other sisters for YEARS and apparently you dont gaf about family unless its nuclear.

this all came to mind re: that polyam/aromantic solidarity post and like. Check back in a few years and she’s gonna be all “i support lgbt but i just dont get how that’s healthy”. She cut off her one minority friend idk what other string is gonna keep you from sinking into the tradwife aesthetic gravity pull …….

Wissenswertes:

Ray ist ein Omega und er war sozusagen mein Proto-Omega. Die meisten meiner Omega-Charakteristiken habe ich an ihm festgelegt.

In meinem Verse starben Rays Eltern früh und er und sein Bruder Sydney wurden von ihrer Omega-Großmutter aufgezogen, die Ray beibrachte, wie man als Omega zu sein hat, und von der er einiges lernte, auch wenn er manchen ihrer Ansichten letztlich doch stark widersprach - vor allem, wenn es um die Gleichberechtigung in einer Beziehung ging, Ray war immer ein Befürworter einer Beziehung, in der auch wirklich beide Partner gleichberechtigt sind.

Sein Bruder Sydney ist ein Beta, und mit diesem verbindet Ray eine weniger postive Beziehung.

Wie im Canon wurde er auch in meinem Verse immer wieder auf die eine oder andere Weise von seinen Partner verlassen, weswegen er denkt er sei nicht viel wert und keiner würde ihm haben wollen. Seine Verlobte Anna war ein Beta, der starb, als er Ray davor retten wollte missbraucht zu werden, was in ihm erst Recht Minderwertigkeitskomplexe ausgelöst hat.

Ray erhoffte sich einige Zeit lang eine Triaden-Beziehung mit Oliver Queen und Felicity Smoak, wurde dann aber nach langen Hin- und her mit seinem Alpha Mick Rory glücklich.

Ray ist einer deiner Omegas, den alle lieben, nicht wahr? Im Grunde genommen ja, jeder liebt Ray auf die eine oder andere Weise.
