DAY 23: Puppy Love (make them kids)
Innocent 1900s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
The Edwardian era has had a change in the concepts understood up to the time of childhood, the parents came to understand themselves as those in charge of protecting and caring for their children and that they were not only their property as an object. Adding to what great CC content is focused on this time, why not?
I haven’t been able to decide for a particular couple so I’ve made the four pairs together in different spaces depending on how I thought they could spend it if they met sincey

Boneville Residence, Brindleton Bay 1839.
Once the Redwoods traveled to Blossomshild, August began frequenting the home of young Evangeline, despite being relatively family and living a few acres away they had never had a chance to form a relationship in their youth.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Evie was reserved on her first visits with him alone in the drawing room, but she gradually began to engage in conversation with Claudius' eldest son.
Tumblr media
Although she refused any kind of approach from August, he always insisted that she get to know him better.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A couple of months have passed and August’s company has become prized, there weren’t many people in the Boneville residence that Evie could relate to.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Despite her acquired affection for August, she continued to feel uneasy about her close-ups and courtships, as she still maintained a rigorous mourning for Francis, who had passed away almost six years ago. That’s why he even slapped him on occasions when he was too far gone.

DAY 24: A Little Bit Sexy (or…a lot sexy)
Ornamented 1850s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
Obviously I was going to use this slogan with crinolines and corsets from the mid Victorian era <3
This last one is a very controversial piece due to the bad reputation through the movies and statements about it. A corset is the great-great-grandfather of what is now a bra, used both as aristocratic women (or men like Dandys of the Regency era) and as workers, it did not hurt or restrict breathing.
Only with its planked structure did it mold the silhouette without deforming the body.
Very few models of corsets are proven to be harmful (the S-silhouette corsets from 1900s).
The click of pulling the strings as in bridgerton is impossible, the button holes are sewn by hand, so they would end up breaking if they did.
They do not leave marks on the skin since a chemise is used under them.
No, Victorian women didn’t remove ribs, remember how little advanced medicine was back then.)

DAY 29: Boho
Anachronic 1960s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
As the hippie movement began to hit the mainstream lifestyle, new styles of clothing including ethnic dresses, embroidered skirts, floral mixed prints, volume, fringes and more flared silhouettes began to become popular.
The hippies rejected everything from dominant values to materialism. In terms of fashion and clothing, they went against the stylized, polished and structured silhouettes that were used since the end of the WW2.

Redwood Family Tree
I was asked the other day if there was a family tree with all the characters in the Pride Flag Legacy Challenge. I’ve always had mixes with dates and everything from the beginning, plus family relationships between them. This is why I decided to create the ultimate familair tree and show it with you <3
(Right click to open the image to zoom in)
The Redwood tree comes from the parents of the founder of the challenge: Rosemary Redwood and her husband Cristobal Clermont.
The sons of Cristobal and Rosemary did not adopt the paternal surname because the legacy of the challenge is Redwood.
From here they intertwine with the Cushing, Barrow and Boneville families, spanning approximately 50 years of family history.

DAY 20: A Royal Affair
Imperials 1880s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
The relationships of lovers within monarchies have never been easy if they were ”””Unnatural””” couples, although by their power they could afford freedoms since their social scale freed them from the questioning of the lower classes.
Antoinette Necteaux belonged to the court of the Empress Amber Marine Cushing of Whinkersparks, according to stories of the time, from the moment that both women crossed a close relationship was born between them.

DAY 28: Your Favorite Characters
Anachronic 1900s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
“At times the world may seem an unfriendly and sinister place, but believe that there is much more good in it than bad. All you have to do is look hard enough. and what might seem to be a series of unfortunate events may in fact be the first steps of a journey.” ― Lemony Snicket
I’ve decided to use Rosemary, Cristobal and Violet to characterize one of my favorite series/movies: A Series of Unfortunate Events. Like the previous day, I wanted to stay true to the aesthetics of the film and the series, as it is a very inaccurate style historically.

DAY 21: Hit the High Seas
Belle epoque 1900s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
I have lived all my life near the sea, I cannot imagine a life far from that vast natural limit. At the beginning of the century, Mar del Plata was the leisure space preferred by the most aristocratic families of Argentine society to spend the summer.
The coast of Mar del Plata could provide summer enjoyment without the need to travel to Europe. So many of these families decided to build imposing villas and sumptuous residences to which they moved with their domestic staff every summer.
I wanted to take my beloved Jacques and Mordecai to those beautiful beaches of belle epoque <3

DAY 25: Fixer Upper
Anachronistic 1790s - 30 Day Lookbook Challengue @shoobysims
As I said, the timeline for the start of the Pride Flag Challengue is very rowdy and not historically correct, combining 1780s day dresses with 1880s evening dresses or Edwardian hairstyles. This is for my lack of knowledge of different historical times and lack of correct CC back then (2018)
There’s nothing wrong with this, it’s a game, you can do whatever YOU want. In my case I prefer to play the most historically correct (considering the CC accessible today, that I do not know how make meshes and I have no money to pay a commission) in relation to the real fashion of the era.
I recreated the moment when Rosemary says goodbye to Violet to return to her family, which is the ideal outfit to edit and make it more accurate (Approximate, it is a very specific transition period, so there is almost no CC).

Bedlington, Brinblenton Bay 1780.
Rosemary was in a situation of instability and financial insufficiency, she had to take care of herself. She had to provide herself with whatever nature gave her to eat and if it was not edible it had to be something she could sell.
One day while she was washing her clothes by a well she came across a small stray dog. The poor creature looked hungry, just like her, so despite everything she decided to adopt it, her little dog was now called Addy.

Hi, I adore your gameplay style (like a lot) and I’ve caught myself trying to follow your story but I don’t know how to get to the beginning. Tumblr is a bit confusing for me do you have any tips.
Hi! I’m just watching this and I apologize, I’m glad you like my blog! To see the history of the Redwoods from the beginning there is a tag on my blog that says Pride Flag Legacy Chrono that shows you from the beginning of the challengue.
NOTICE: the story was originally a mixture of Late Victorian and Rococo, sorry for the anachronism of that beginning.
Plus: There are a lot of texts that can be mixed, English is not my native language and when I was 17 I used google translator lol

hi i'm sort of a new follower and i wanted to ask which rules for the pride flag legacy you use ? like in terms of historical setting and generations i'm curius about it also don't know if you have mention but do you have a family tree for the redwoods? i think it would be cool to keep track on the gens and characters
Hello! I follow the rules of this file, I am not focusing on actually showing the goals as I did with the Rosemary (Red) generation.
In the Orange Generation I modified the rules a bit by the historical setting (Originally it was in Late XIX Century was but the CC of XVIII Century fell in love and I decided to place it there) for example, the profession of Doctor did not fit well in the 1810s (By the way gameplay is offered by GTW, not by the profession), So I decided to switch to phytotherapy ability.
A Redwoods tree is a great idea! For now the tree is in The Plum Tree App, but surely edit and upload some photo with it
