This is Philas who is a character created by @wolfertinger666 who allowed me to make my own version of him. I loved what he wrote about his character so i will quote it directly: "Philas represents the boys who aren't allowed to, or don't want to change their bodies, but live and fight like hell to be a man."
So i named this figure "boys will be boys"!
I tried to directly copy the original style for him at first but i really didn't do it justice and because this figure is for my own shelf i decided to chill a little with this.
Since i already took so many liberties with the design i decided to have some fun with the paint too and shade him really roughly and with a very limited palette, i think it really fits the "emotion" of this piece.
This could've been SO MANY different Mountain Goats lines: at first I thought "I will be made a new creature one bright day", "Well, you looked me in the eye, ready to die/We were becoming what we are Collapsing stars". "See that young man who dwells inside his body like an uninvited guest" is possibly too on the nose. But this one, from Heretic Pride, caught my heart because of the sense of triumph in death. KICK ROCKS WRESTLING PODCAST
Mercedes opens up about her WWE walkout for the first time in nearly 2 years.
"I really believe in not only the universe, but I really believe in myself and I believe in such a higher power of light that comes over me. Something inside of me told me I needed to do this and stand up for myself. It was a very hard decision because wrestling and WWE has been my whole life. It's the hardest decision I've ever had to make in my life, but it's my most proudest. It's crazy, because I would not be sitting here living the best version of my life and getting to be everything I've ever dreamt of, I get to be everything I've ever dreamt of and more. You have no idea, and it makes me so excited because that moment changed my whole life for the better. I'm so thankful for that moment, I'm so proud of myself, I'm so proud of Trinity, I'm so proud of how strong we were. Because like you said, everybody wanted to talk about it, everybody wanted to act like they were in the room. Everybody acted like they were in the room or worked there or were backstage or knew what happened. All I know is that I handled it like a CEO, like the Boss that I am with my head held up high and I can't say nothing but amazing things to WWE, I'm so thankful for the career that they gave me, the fans that they gave me, the life that they gave me, the dreams that they gave me, so many dreams, and I got to chase and live them all."
