Hey so heads up that supposedly there's an event going on called Pridefall this month. Basically cyber attacks targetting LGBTQ+ folks across various platforms (Discord, twitter, etc). It's possible that it's just a rumor but be extra careful with suspicious messages.

(Also, if you've ever been a victim of a cyber attack, whether it was being doxxed, sent unsolicited upsetting media, or harrassment in general, that is a crime you can 100% take people to court to. Yes you can take someone to court for unwanted dick pics.)

With the recent announcement from the CEO that a member of staff was receiving bribes to target trans users with harassment and bannings I feel like my tinfoil hat idea that in 2020 a bunch of channers joined tumblr for the sole purpose of redpilling its user base a la Pridefall 2020 has been confirmed.

Project 2025 started on tumblr in 2020 and I feel like a huge part of that was turning queer zoomers into a homophobic army groomed to attack older queer people to save the children from pedophelia by targeting queer creators because they were using tumblr for ground zero of ‘transing the children’.

This forced generational divide between older and younger queers felt incredibly manufactured and has resulted in zoomers automatically labeling harmless or possibly not always G rated queer content as The Enemy and ofc, Pedophilia. Like COME ON!

Zoomers need to wake the fuck up to what obvious conservative channer talking points they are peddling.

I've been gone for most of the past two weeks, but I still noticed tumblr's sudden uptick in censoring LGBTQ+ content for Pride month (ahem, "June," as you vaguely labeled it; nice Overton Window you've got there). As a longtime patron of Tumblr (bought the poster, bought the tea light, have blazed tens of thousands of cat photos), I gotta say: DO BETTER.
