Things I wanted to know in Sofia The First

The story behind queen Lorelei's death, her love story with king Roland, the dificulties they had to go through, how everything happened, what everyone felt. How the other castle characters felt after this.

Birk Balthazar and his life with Miranda, how he was with Sofia, if she ever met him before he died. How Sofia feels about all this, how it impacted their life

A conversation between Roland and Miranda about their lost lovers. Seriously, in a natural and honest way, without that stupicidy of people feeling jealous over their partner talking about past lovers. They have something to bond over, something that only they understand.

How Winifred and Goodwyn (Cedric's parents) met eachother and fell in love. How they raised their children, in their POV's of course.

Wormwood and Cedric talking about their issue without interruptions, adrenaline, or anything bigger happening to be more exact.

Roland, Cedric and Cordelia's childhood. I'm not interested in Tilly since she doesn't really stands out to me but I think she would be there too. How they grew up in the castle, if Cedric and Cordelia had their own rooms or if their family slept inside the tower.

Cedric's first love. Just because. And he got heartbroken too unfortunately. Headcanon.

Sofia being cursed by the amulet in the episode Sofia The Worst. She lied to her parents, her siblings, broke into Cedric's workshop and made spells using his wand without permission, didn't said sorry for all the bad deeds that Sofia the worst did (at least not for each one). Growing up is realising that Sofia was just an 8 year old girl who had too many responsibilities and was pressured by adults to save her new family and a kingdom and realm she now has to take care of and protect and people have high expectations of her, and that she was never given any real time to grieve her missing (most likely dead) father who only passed away like a year before her mother's remarriage and she is a child with trauma and doesn't want to bother people with it or tell anyone her secrets because they might put her in danger. She is a prodigy in just about everything she tries and isn't used to the idea of failling or not getting the hang of things quickly.

Sofia is also constantly betting her own life or being forced to negotiate the lives of her family since she was 8. She was betrayed by 4 adults, 3 of which were her teachers and and 3 of them are redeemed. She watched two people be murdered and a man waste his life away. Her brother being distressed and angry because he wasted his childhood preparing for a position he was never going to get because their grandmother and aunt lied. She watched the reason the twins were born and the queen was killed. Has been trapped in the middle of no where multiple times. Her sister stole her amulet. She saved the world multiple times. And her friends were toxic to her for being better than them at a game and trying to help a girl out. Was tricked by Cedric into cursing the entire kingdom to sleep. Is very protective and suspicious to anyone who even looks at the Amulet. Was given a position that constantly puts her life in danger and told to protect an entire realm filled with like 50 kingdoms. Must watch or read peoples lives no matter how gory in order to give them an ending weather it's sad or happy as long as it's an ending. Is blamed if things go wrong because of an adult. Isn't believed even if she's right. And none of the adults listen to her and always underestimate her.

This child needs a hug, therapy, sleep, and should just go play Dazzle all, Flyer Derby, or Ice dancing, go back to the Buttercup scouts, do her homework, practice magic, and play with her animals.

Cannom (Headcanon Rough Draft)

Roland knocks on Cedric's door with his foot. He calls out to Cedric, "Cedric, come quick!"

Cedric opens the door in a panic from Roland's tone of voice; had something happened?

Cedric looks to see Roland holding a baby James in his arms.

Roland had the most sweetest of smiles, "Cedric, you will not believe what James just said!"

Cedric was caught off guard from the shift from urgency to delight from him. And as if he didn't know anything about believing, but that was another story.

"What James said?-" Cedric now realized, "He's said his first words?!"

"Yes!! Isn't that amazing? Look look, watch this!" Roland held baby James up to his own face; James giggled at how goofy his father looked.

"Boom goes the.."

Baby James chimed in, waving his arms up, "Cannom!"

Roland let out a cheerful laugh, "That's right son, cannom!" Roland raised James up playfully in celebration of his first word: Cannom.

Cedric looked a bit confused. Was Roland also pronouncing it as 'Cannom?' "Your Majesty, I believe he pronounced cannon the wrong way."

"I know, but it's his first word after all."

"So, shouldn't you be saying it the correct way so he learns how to pronounce it correctly?"

"Oh, I didn't think about it that way. Thank you Cedric," Roland went back to his son, "That's right, it's a cannon. Boom goes the-"

"Cannom!" Both Roland and Baby James were laughing from their little moment together.

Cedric couldn't help but wish he had that kind of father.

So I've noticed you've found some very clever and downright brilliant ways to weave Sofia the First and its lore into your Disneyverse, which makes me wonder if you have any headcanons about what Sofia and the other child characters from the show might be like as teens and adult.

Thanks!! I'm glad you're enjoying them :) I'll admit I don't currently have any real story ideas for them apart from Sofia continuing her roles as the Storykeeper and as a Protector. But here's some designs for the Enchancia siblings as adults!

Actually, though I don't have any headcanons about Sofia's future I have had one about Enchancia's past for a while now. Basically I've decided in my DisneyVerse it was the home of the girl from the "Girl Without Hands" fairytale, who found sanctuary in the magic tree that would become the Secret Library, and her son, inspired by all she had to overcome, dedicates his life to ensuring as many happy endings as he can for others and becomes the first Storykeeper.

For those who don't know, The Girl Without Hands is a fairytale where a man sort of accidentally trades his daughter to the devil (in this it would be the demon Voland, a main background villain in my DisneyVerse). But since she's pure the devil can't take her, but through a series of unfortunate events due to him she ends up losing her hands :s (they'd probably be magiced off or something in this, but then again Disney has gone dark before, but either way no gruesomeness would be shown on screen).

The girl wanders for a while but comes under the care of an angel who helps her (a Windwalker in this version since they're the Everrealm version pretty much) and eventually causes her to meet a kind young king who falls love with her and makes hers her a pair of silver artificial hands.

They're happy for a few years until the King is called away to war and the Queen has her first child. At which point the devil comes back and makes trouble again thar causes them to be separated for several years, the queen forced to flee with her child far from the kingdom to save their lives. They end up under the care of the angel again, (lead by the Windwalker to the magical tree) and yeats later are reunited with the King who never stopped hoping they were still alive. And they live happily ever after.

(Added things in my version--the girl, named Manon, has her hair turn white after escaping Voland due to the trauma she's endured, and years later her son Sorrow (his actualname in the fairytale) ends up trapping Voland in a magical mirror, which is in fact the Magic Mirror that ends up in the Evil Queen's hands centuries later)

Did I miss something or was it never explained why Cedric became the royal sorcerer and not Cordelia?

Cordelia is Cedric's older sister. If the royal sorcerer lineage runs anything like that of the royal family, why was Cedric--the younger sibling--made the royal sorcerer of Enchancia and not Cordelia?

On top of that, even if it does go that the boys are the next in line, Cedric was still known for being a "bungler", so why wasn't something done to prevent him from becoming part of the royal staff?

Cedric is literally the best, but Cordelia--with the knowledge the kingdom had before 'Through the Looking-Back Glass'--would have been a much better candidate for being the royal sorcerer.

Please tell me if I missed something, I honestly may have. I'm just really curious if it was ever explained.

Sometimes I imagine what it would be like if STF had a permanent part in a Disney park, let's say it would be in the Magic Kingdom, and there was this place in the park where it would be a small replica of inside Enchancia's castle and there were actors and actresses to play the main characters (Sofia, Roland, Miranda, James, Amber, Baileywick and Cedric, maybe a few more), I think it would be similar to what they did with Encanto in the parks. Sofia would probably be alone, as she is the protagonist and people usually prefer protagonists alone to take photos, Roland and Miranda would certainly be together, and perhaps Baileywick could be with them too, as if they were in the throne room of the castle. Cedric would obviously stay in his workshop. And Amber and James can be in the dance hall or just in a room inside the castle, maybe even inside a Royal Prep Academy classroom.

All characters would be played by actors and absolutely no one would have a mascot head. I keep imagining all the interactions they could have 😭😭 Maybe they could also take a few days a week to walk around the parks instead of staying in one place. I would give Cedric a big hug and talk a little (respecting the actor because we need to remember that there is a person there and not just a character), and I actually don't know what I would do, I would probably spend a lot of time planning what I would like to say.

I'm just sure that we would have several shorts of funny interactions around the park just like we have with the Evil Queen. We're being robbed that's it.
