The two most romantic lines in cinema history are "As you wish" from the Princess Bride and "I can fix that" from Holes.

I got an email from Tumblr saying "You're on our radar" and I didn't know what that meant until I saw 5,000 new notes on my Princess Bride painting of Westley that I did back in 2014.
Wow. Thank you.
The Princess Bride is my favorite movie and I don't want to inundate you all with too much Princess Bride art, but, I did a little series of watercolor cutout "animations" back in 2022 and they're still some of my favorite things I've done.
I hope you like them.
Sending Big Hugs from the Hobbit Hole. ♥♥♥
Scott
PS. I'll post more of them if you'd like...

“Since the invention of the kiss, there have only been five kisses that were rated the most passionate- the most pure.
This one left them all behind.” - The Princess Bride
I’m so excited to share this absolutely stunning piece of Azriel and Elain as Wesley and Princess Buttercup from one of my favorite movies, The Princess Bride
I had the absolute pleasure of working with @/lamanyo (IG) and they did such an amazing job bringing this artwork to life! I can feel the passion, love, and tenderness in every inch of the piece💕
Princess Buttercup and Wesley represent true love, sacrifice, loyalty, and overcoming the odds to be with the person you love- all things I expect to see in Elriel’s book!
I hope you all love this as much as I do 💕
You can also find in on IG here

Obviously I can’t include all the Princesses and didn’t just want to have white straight ones, so this is the list!

[Image Description: two screenshot redrawings of the figures in Princess Bride and a third digital drawing. The first image is of Westley and Buttercup in front of the barn gate, holding hands. Westley is a woman, wearing a brown dress, her hair in a braid. Buttercup is unchanged. The second image is of Buttercup and Westley in the forest. Westley holding a sword in front of them protecting Buttercup. Westley has a long ponytail and earrings. The final picture is drawn more flatly, of the scene on the cliff with Indigo Montoya and Westley before their sword fight. Indigo is gesturing with one hand, pointing his sword at Westley. Westley stands in front of him, lifting her sword up as well, smiling just slightly. The dialogue at the bottom reads "You seem like a decent lass. I hate to kill you." "You seem like a decent fellow. I hate to die." The final two images are the lineart of previously described images. End ID]
Princess's Bride amirite? ....Lesbians are just very good to have. Absolutely nothing about the plot has to change. In fact, I vote it makes more sense for them to be lesbians thank you very much.

Buttercups and Prince Humperdinck’s brief ceremony or Will and Elizabeth’s vows during battle.
Both highly quotable and amusing. My roommates and I were arguing over which was better. Helps us settle this.
Please reblog for bigger sample size.

what do two iconic movies share in common? Pretty fancy crowns asides to a revenge arc that was being used. Anyway look at these beautiful crowns in their very own right.
Whether you dislike the general story or love it, admit the crown with the swords is pretty rad.
thank you for coming to my Ted talk, that is all I will be spamming in the tag for this new movie.
