Edmond Baudoin was born in Nice on April 23, 1942. After taking courses at the Arts décoratifs in Nice during his adolescence, he worked as an accountant before returning to drawing in 1971.

His work is often autobiographical and inspired by several authors, painters and artists of all time; the painter Goya and the sculptor Giacometti being examples.
