Battle Scars
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 Scars are inevitable, yes? You burn your finger age three and the new skin still looks off. You scrape up your knee pretty badly and if you look close, it’s there. Your sibling unknowingly slams your two year old pinky in the wooden door and twenty years later, the finger is still shorter. You survive brain surgery only to…

"she watched Harrow take off her bone bracelets, the teeth she kept at her neck, the little bone studs in her ears...presenting herself like an emptied quiver."
"I am exactly two hundred sons and daughters of my House, Griddle"
Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. - Psalm 147:3-5
"Are you trying to make out like the Reverend Father and Mother killed hundreds of their own kids?"
"The Ninth House is a House of broken promises... The Eighth House remembers that they were not meant to live... I do not know why the Emperor suffered that shadow of a House. That mockery of his name."
Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. - Psalm 147:1
I feel like there's something here...

'He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.' Psalm 147:3
God does not abandon the brokenhearted or those who are despairing.
His desire is to bring healing and hope to everyone. The damage is never so great that He cannot restore it. He can take the pieces of our lives and make a masterpiece.
PRAYER: Lord, come now I pray and touch, heal and restore all those areas of brokenness and hopelessness in my life. You are the great restorer and I ask You to do a miracle in my life and situation. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
