The Lord is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults,
And with my song I shall thank Him.
~ Psalm 28:7
OBSERVATION:
Exults - jumps for joy, celebrates, delights, rejoices, glorifies, elevates - Him because He is my strength, shield, trust and help...
My song is all He asks for being my strength and shield and trust and help...
APPLICATION:
Exult over - because of - Him...
Sing to Him in thanksgiving and exultation - continuously...
PRAYER:
Shielding Father - my strength and help in all things, not just troubles when, I confess, I come to you the most... I ask forgiveness for the times I trust in myself, especially when I know I need to surrender to Your Holy Spirit's guidance and Your Word... and seek to celebrate Your presence in all things, to see Your blessings and glory in the smallest moments throughout the day You have granted me... May Your Name be glorified as a song on my lips... in Jesus's Name...
