Foolish going in with two totems as a part-totem who never, never uses totems. His screams for Leo as the ceiling caves in, trying desperately to throw her a totem through the barrier. Digging, trying to glitch, trying to problem solve in a situation so chaotic and so impossible, there’s just nothing he can do. Not leaving until his totem pops - until he can’t see Leo anymore. Repeating to himself that she was right there, just right there, he couldn’t even get her a totem, he couldn’t do anything.

Foolish staying behind to make sure Tina and Mouse get out, to make sure he sticks with Cellbit, telling himself he can feel it later, as long as they survive, he can feel it later - and running out of time. If he hadn’t stayed behind digging for Leo, he would have made it. If he hadn’t given all but one of his enderpearls to the others, he would have made it. If he wasn’t looking over his shoulder for Cellbit, he would have made it.

He hasn't seen Bad at his best, before the eggs got kidnapped. He's seen him a victim to grief more than a father. It's why the blue staining Bad's being isn't out of the ordinary.

But suddenly he starts carrying flowers to remind him of the love he lost, suddenly the void calls out his name even louder and suddenly Tubbo sees himself in the older demon.

And it's scary, because suddenly he sees what he has become, how it affects others.

And for the first time of many, he sees Bad walk down a road he's paved. For the first time of many, Bad is the one repeating Tubbo's mistakes.

yes the possibility of qtubbo having been snatched away in the blink of an eye today to be sent to purgatory with no warning is fucking depressing. but do you know what could be worse?

qtubbo logging back onto the island, shaken and sick from radiation exposure, but everyone celebrates that he's alive and escaped capture.

only for him to tell them that its because he doesnt know when theyll take him. he's a dead man walking, a ticking time bomb. he has agreed to something and has no idea when theyll come to take him to purgatory. no idea what lies in wait for him.

and he spends the next few days trying to distract himself, while also getting his affairs in order. its sad, but no one talks about it. how he's walking around with a foot in hell, waiting to be dragged back in, with no warning.

and one day, q!fit and q!pac wake up, and they see sunny come to them, alone. and they just know what has happened.

the rain doesnt stop for the next 5 days.

Need I remind everyone Purgatory is done and it was just a game, for FUN!!!!! Same will be for purgatory 2!!! I understand having bias and favorite teams but do not in any case bring down others because yours is too special or whatever, they were all the same, they were all trapped in there with tensions high and did things they normally wouldn't, the characters acted accordingly to their lore, it's okay to be upset at some decisions made but god don't make it a state affair. It was just Block game rp alroiughtt

I was thinking about the sand

The resistance’s book describes the sand as an environment that deceives. with places that seem safe, but are not within a moment’s notice. so of course the only thing I can think of with that kind of description is the phenomenon of mirages.

these are an optical phenomenon that happens often in deserts, caused by the bending of light & temperature differences combined.

for example, it causes people wandering lost in the desert to see things like an oasis lake in the distance- a place like that is a safe haven to someone lost, dehydrated and overheating in the sands

but it’s not really there. it’s actually the blue sky reflected on the ground tricking their eyes…. and they just got lost even deeper into the desert.

In the QSMP purgatory we will probably see a fictional and more intense thing happening that’s inspired by mirages- places that feel safe from whatever danger is out there, but they are lies and shouldn’t be trusted because they might just drag someone down further. no doubt the characters are gonna be facing a lot of psychological deception here

I do want to say it is kind of terrifying from an RP standpoint how much q!BBH has devolved as a character.

When I mean devolved, I mean he has completely thrown away what little morals he had that defined him.

I made a joke about it but it is quite unsettling hearing him before Purgatory. While he was certain that he'd hurt his friend if he had to, he was still unwilling to revel in it. Comparing himself to humans who succumb to bloodlust, raising himself above it.

But now here he is, boldly proclaiming that he enjoys tourmenting the Red team, that he is finally cutting loose as though this wasn't a mission to bring his kids back but a fun little murder trip (now this isn't me trying to say his main goal isn't bringing his kids back but i'm pointing out how it conflicts with his bloodlust).

We've never seen q!BBH this meanspirited and vicious against the other islanders. Him taunting q!Slimecicle making it clear that he doesn't respect him and him laughing while stabbing q!Philza with a chainsaw.

He's completely fallen from what little morality he still had, the little sliver of morality of him just doing this for the eggs and not from any kind of malicious intention.

It's not like all of his destructive acts against Red either have been particularly helpful in winning either, some of them were with that mindset but some of it really just ended up being a distraction.

Now this isn't me saying q!BBH has completely lost his wits, cc!BBH confirming that during the tie situation, q!BBH was playing a lot more smart but he definitely has gotten more sloppy in his approach.

What is more particularly scary to me is the aftermath, I don't think q!BBH is gonna able to just switch his mindset back to normal or at least not completely. The only way for him to ever go back is if he ends up feeling guilt which...we know will not happen considering his character.

He has to deal with the fact that he enjoyed hurting his friends, that he had fun. You can't just switch back from that mindset once you're so deep into it especially when you once thought finding enjoyement in it would be the last thing you would do.

He is gonna have to look at himself when he starts reminiscing fondly of him hurting the ones he loved for what he thought once was a noble cause. A noble cause that devolved quickly into pure bloodthirst.

He is fighting for his kids, yes, but it didn't just come at the cost of his friends happiness but also at the cost of who he was.

He can sense someone approach him and he has to choke every instinct in him not to spring into defense immediately - these were friends. Whatever happened these past few days - how has it been that little time - they are his friends and they are all tired and terrified and they will not attack him.

"Thank you for coming back for me," Bagi says, leaving him enough space that he doesn't feel like he needs to back away from her. "I was really worried."

"Of course, of course. Don't even mention it," he replies, still staring out into the ocean.

They stay quiet for a while.

"Ramon seemed really nice," Bagi tries, and it's like she's stepping on eggshells (goddamn idioms making him think about eggs) and isn't sure Fit's not going to snap at her.

"He's not always like that with strangers, actually," he replies and hopes she sees that as the olive branch it is. Being alone makes him think about cracked shells and grief. "I'm glad you like him." He refuses to even entertain the idea of past tense.

Bagi hums. "I hope we see all of them again."

It almost breaks him. "I'm not sure I have much left in me to hope with," he admits.
