Quantumscape Corp. QS stock price corrected 46% in August 2023 and eroded 90% of the gains generated in July. It faced sharp rejection from $14.00 and the price collapsed with a high selling volume. Quantumscape stock price formed a bearish pattern and sellers continued their dominance on higher levels. The stock price is oversold and near a 52-week low so a narrow-range consolidation or minor pullback is possible. QS stock price displayed a massive gap down and dropped below the 50, 200-day EMA. It showcases that the trend has again reversed downward. At the beginning of August, QS stock attempted to break the $13.00 hurdle. Sadly, the attempt failed and prices reverted down. Later, the sell-off continued and prices returned back to their breakout level. QS stock displayed an inverted V-shape bearish pattern which hurt the sentiment of its investors. Any short-term pullback is likely to face rejection from the $10.00 supply zone. So, it’s better to avoid creating any long position until prices break the $10.00 hurdle. Quantumscape stock price closed the previous session at $7.14 with an intraday decline of -0.14%. The market capitalization stands at $3.50 Billion. Will QS Stock Price Recover or Decline Further? QS stock price is highly volatile indicating that the speculative activities are high. Previously, buyers have tried multiple times to break the $10.00 hurdle and sustain. However, due to the strong presence of sellers, it reverted downward. Till the Quantumscape stock trades below $10.00, any minor pullback rally will not be reliable. Short sellers are active and may take the pullback as a fresh shorting opportunity. On the lower side, if the bears succeed in breaking the $5.68 support then more downside will open. The technical analysis suggests that QS share price is highly bearish and the possibility of recovery is quite low. Quantumscape Stock Price is Oversold Quantumscape stock price (NYSE: QS) is bearish on multiple time frames. The prices had corrected a lot from its swing high but still no signs of recovery are visible. However, QS stock price is oversold so it might spend some time in consolidation. The MACD curve is reversing upward and displays a positive crossover. But price action shows divergence. The RSI at 41 indicates weakness but if prices recovers then it might reach the neutral territory. Conclusion Quantumscape Corp. QS stock price fell 46% in the previous month and eroded a big portion of its market capitalization. It seems like some big investors have taken an exit because the future does not look bright. The technical analysis suggests that the Quantumscape price is in bear grip, and the probability of recovery in September remains low.
