god i need more long mp100 fics i'm too used to literally devouring like over 100k fics and now i can't read one shots anymore because it'll take me like. 10 mins.
I saw someone like "what if Ryuk was a scary demon monster wouldn't that be funny." My brother in Christ Ryuk is already a scary monster you're just used to him. I looked at the first Death Note book at the library and put it down TWICE because I was afraid of Ryuk.
I'm not gonna lie, the Trigun-Time War developments are so funny to me because I'm just like, "what do you mean everyone and their mom who existed on the internet in 2020 (aka the entire world) hasn't read This Is How You Lose The Time War."
Another five star read, I’m on a really good run at the moment! Next up is The Vaster Wilds by Lauren Groff, I haven’t read anything of hers since Fates and Furies, which I loved, and her recent career seems very different, so let’s see!
I should not have been given the ability to drive, because now that I have the ability to drive to book stores, it is really and truly over for my wallet
Had to take a break from reading RotE because I've been in survival mode and it makes me feel too much (it's almost comical having two cats pass away within months of each other at the same time you're supposed to be reading Fool's Errand of all things) but I'm in a safe place for emotions for the next week and thought I should have a go at reading as much Tawny Man as I can and anyway long story short I've read literally one page and I'm already crying lol these books are lethal
not an aro centric book but Record of a Spaceborn Few by Becky Chambers has an aroallo protagonist!
Yes that's true it does, I have actually read it!
For anyone who hasn't, it's a scifi novel about a bunch of people on a spaceship that was originally sent out to find humanity new planets to live. That has all happened, but many generations later there are still people living on board, and this is about them.
It's got a large ensemble cast, and one of the main characters is clearly alloaro. But like anon says, it's not an aro focused book (especially when only one of the main characters is aro!) from memory the character is an older character and confident in her identity (not that she's called aro or alloaro on page).
That aside, from a general perspective I really enjoyed it, and highly recommend if you want some people focused scifi! Just don't get too excited about the aro rep as it's a minimal part of the story.
