Billed as "The Secret History meets Her Majesty’s Royal Coven", the first book follows the life of a non-binary student and aspiring magician who fails to gain admission to the UK’s only school of magic. Gollancz promises “tyrant prefects, trials-by-sorcery, queer found family fighting the establishment, and childhood friends-to-rivals-to-enemies-to-more".

Morgan described Briar Jones as “one of those breathtakingly precious bookish gifts you know is going to become a generation-defining phenomenon” adding “this is for everyone who didn’t get that letter to magic school and instead decided to simply go forth and change the world themselves”.

I promised projects, and I intend to deliver.

I've opened up a gumroad shop!

For those of you that don't know, gumroad is an online service similar to etsy (that feels sacrilegious to type) that offers the ability to open digital storefronts in order to sell a number of types of products. I've set up my shopfront and my first listing: a free mini-collection of some of my poems!

It's more of a test-run than anything else, and again is entirely free (unless you wish to pay for it, but that is not at all the point). Your support is more than enough and I will always be grateful <3

If you're interested in checking out the listing, the link is here. The product itself is a pdf of the 'mini zine' I would theoretically one day produce physically. I'm still working on formatting, and it is very much an uphill battle, but I think what I've come up with is pretty cute.
