OH THERE'S ONE MORE THING i SHOULD TELL YOU I FORGOT OMG. In Book 3 there's a villain, His name his Remthalas and he's Angler fish themed (he was made by one of the current devs of DF, long story short early in book 3 there was a major dev change but the current devs are great) But one of the things that makes him stand out is the fact that he's canonically trans, was stated so by the dev that designed him and it's IN HIS DESIGN. He has the head bulb that angler fish do- but the thing is- only female angler fish have the head bulb, but Remthalas identifies and looks like a boy! (i hope im not overwhelming you i literally just remembered this and i was like "OH SHIT HE'LL FIND THIS NEAT TOO")

Tagged canon divergence because I want to see the end of the Defiers of Fate abyssal war epilogue except for a big glaring change: Remthalas wakes up.

Why, how, and how everyone reacts is up to you (though I would prefer to see people happy that he's alive, and if possible, Rem himself getting better, learning to live again, maybe even helping Aquella reclaim the abyss, but really up to the filler.)
