I have a conspiracy theory that the person who’s been writing the QSMP English updates threads over on Twitter secretly has a Tommy-centric SBI Royalty AU they’re working on, starring: King Phil (but no Kristin, she’s always dead), Prince Wilbur (rebellious, yet spoiled prince), Prince Techno (who is also the captain of the guard and in charge of the entire army and is also rude), Prince Tommy (the adopted one), Best Friends Tubbo and Ranboo (who are DEFINITELY still friends!!), Villain Dream (the only one who’s a DSMP counterpart because the fic needs a bad guy), Villain George (who is asleep), Villain Sapnap (who has two lines), Villain Quackity (who is somehow white), Villain Karl (who’s a Small Bean), and Niki and Puffy (the Girl Characters)

But because their fic hasn’t gotten as many kudos as they want, they’ve started applying their unfriendly-to-the-eyes purple prose to their updates account work, too. Phil first, of course, because he’s the main character. And maybe the guys also from the DSMP. Fuck the other English streamers, they can have basic updates that actually describe what’s going on and not word jungles of sloppy adjectives describing such important moments as Philza Eating A Slice Of Bread (because he’s the main character)

still thinking about the prev post i rb-ed. enough to have made another cbeeduo au out of it lol <3

like, it turned into outdoor borrowers tubbo and michael having to move into a human house, ranboos house. it's michael's first time and he doesn't quite know the difference between exploring a house or hallowed-out log yet, so of course he's outside the walls waiting for tubbo to finish dealing with a rat, he's inside isn't he? that's where it should be safe.

and then a really big borrower comes along and michael hasn't met many borrowers so of course he says hi! and the really big borrower--seriously this guy could reach tree branches--says hello too. they talk and talk and michael learns the guys name is ranboo, learns more about what things are in a house, gets berries to eat, and gets to tell stories of all his greatest achievements and how great his dad is.

ranboo seems very confused about a lot of normal borrower things, which is fair, michael can't imagine they had a normal borrower life being so big, it's incredible ranboo has avoided the dangerous 'beans' tubbo told him they'll find in houses, maybe michael can ask what they look like- tubbo didn't get to yet.

tubbo finally find where his kid went and sees him talking a very bewildered-looking human bean's ear off, to his horror and amusement. mostly horror. protective parent mode is activated.

ranboo is having a very interesting morning, and maybe a crisis. and you know what? he's not afraid to admit that michael's dad tubbo is surprisingly intimidating even if he is less than six inches tall.

The syndicate definitely has different tastes:

Techno loves things with a lot of spices(he grows his own... and bribes Phil to make farms for the growing part) and especially things like chai, and pumpkin spice muffins(and yes, he would be a fan of the psl come fall)

Phil loves brighter flavours, like orange and berry, but only when they're not too sweet. He likes mocha treats the best though.

Ranboo really can't get enough chocolate things. They have their own cocoa bean farm and Niki has free reign of it for chocolate-making purposes. They will get a mug of hot chocolate ready whenever he comes in after a long mining trip, and it's what they drink while inspecting and putting away their haul.

Niki has a slight(only slight, she promises) addiction to lemon bars. Lemons don't grow in the arctic so Phil and techno made a greenhouse for her and planted a few lemon trees in it. She makes bars and lemon sugar for the top of baked goods and lemon syrup and preserved lemon slices(both in sugar and dried) and will guard her stash fiercely.

Connor? Well, he very much likes candy. If it has sugar or caffeine he is on it. He once ate a whole pan of caramels meant for Phil and chugged a few shots of espresso because the flavours went together. He was awake for 2 days and there was a shift schedule to watch him for a heart attack.

hidey hodey neighborinoes i know i may or may not have disappeared for like half a fucking year but brain does what brain do. since i am now willing to admit that i likely will not find the motivation to write a full length fic like i would want, i wanted to post the “outline” (re: complete gibberish only past me could understand). at some point i’ll try to compile all the tidbits i had sprinkled across drafts and docs and try to clean it up a little but, well, im not even sure what i meant in some spots. hopefully ill pull the writers block out of my ass one day but until then, take this word vomit:

Does tubbo have a role in this au? If so, in what chapter will we see him? Since Tommy has no idea how big the world actually is, and then he sees it on a map, does he think the world is flat? What about his backstory? Did he get bullied back at the colony? If he did, maybe he flinches whenever someone raises their hand. Do the crafts ask where he came from? If so, what's his excuse? Do they believe his lie, or are they suspicious? How do colony's work in this world? Is the reason he was so small to begin something to do with his size shifting ability? What if he meets one of the old borrowers from the colony? What would his relationship have been with Tommy? Nice to him, pitying him, or bullying him. What would their reaction be to him size shifting? I want to know everything.

This is canon. Yep definitely canon. Im going to say in a previous house he saw a map on a table once and heard it was the world. But doesn’t realise it’s obviously not to scale but def thinks the world is flat. He has a very heated argument about this with the twins and refuse to think otherwise without proof.

Constantly. As I said he’s different. The borrowers of this colony really did not like that he was different and they made sure to remind him of that. They’d either outright ignore him or deliberately make him do the worst jobs possible. Some borrowers (especially the ones around his age at the time) would deliberately go out of their way and hurt him for fun. So yes. Tommy in the beginning flinches a lot when he thinks he’s about to get hurt or someone moves to fast. Takes a long time for him to not be so tense about it but everyone is very patient about it and understanding when he semi outlines the abuse. The trauma of it all still a bit too fresh in his mid for detail

Yep of course they ask where he comes from! The Crafts wanna know who they need to go beat up. But I’m not gonna say if Tommy does or doesn’t say yet. Mainly because I’m not sure. But if he hadn’t yet, he’d tell them after the reveal properly.

Colonies in this world work a lot like the one in the 1997 The Borrowers movie in terms of how they have civilisation set up. There’s traders and stores and all sorts of things but they’re spaced out heavily and more built in underground caves then sewers. It’s more common for borrowers to live in forests and such then towns, but they have tunnels connecting places everywhere. This is how Tommy went from living in the smack bang middle of nowhere in the forest to living as an innie borrower in a house. Most borrowers know of the tunnels so a lot of innie borrowers are actually traders in a sorts that they’ll live in houses and bring back the ‘exotic human Bean’ things to trade in the colonies. Tommys parents however we’re not born in a colony, tho they knew of them, and lived mainly outside. But they were not very kind people and when Tommy was born, it just became more obvious to them that their child was different and so rather than waste supplies on a child they now didn’t want, they abandoned him.

Yes. Tommy being smaller than everyone else is because of his sizeshifter abilities. Sizeshifters born are kind of stunted in height. It’s part of how you can identify them. They’re also just a lot thinner and more lanky in appearance because they have the ability to change size and this somewhat allows them to do that. (Or I think it’s just funny to describe Tommy as lanky) but yeah even as they get older, they’re just a lot weaker physically too which would be fine because their shifting sort of makes up for that aspect. So while Tommy is an inch shorter then everyone else his age in the colony, if he knew he could size shift, he wouldn’t have been hindered as much.

If Tommy ever met someone from the old colony again, I think he’d probably just run out of the walls to find Wil, Phil or Techno. I think itd probably be one of his bullies that hurt him the most and Tommy would just go into panic attack mode and run for his life while probably being chased by them. He’d then run screaming into the room for someone while the bully still pursues them, and then of course he shifts. They’d be terrified and book it back to the walls and get away as fast as possible, while Tommy receives comfort cuddles.

Tommy is just scared child that runs from danger. He needs therapy.

In the healthy villain au tommy has tubbo and ranboo do techno and Wilbur have friends Nikki could be a friend her family owns a bakery or she does it depends on how old she is and while she works in the kitchen jack man’s the cash register Nikki has close ties to all the members of the family she already knows what they do and jack doesn’t but he is very suspicious he’s a wannabe detective he’s actually good at piecing together clues but can’t get them due to bad luck ruining the plans he makes

Ah yes yes yes!! Niki is fully aware of everything they do but honestly doesn't mind it all that much since they don't tend to hurt innocent people, at least not on purpose.

Maybe jack takes a detective apprenticeship of sorts? He's So Unbelievably Close to figuring out the truth but bad luck and a bit of psychology tends to thwart his plans. "What do you mean wilbur is a villain? Wilbur soot? Bean pole who plays guitar and has fucked-up tastebuds and once put sand grains in his cake instead of cookie crumbs because he liked them better? THAT wilbur?"

So, Pet Dream AU. How does the reveal go?

I actually really love the heartbreaking imagery of him automatically transforming back when he feels loved and safe, and how he has to stop himself from feeling either of those things if he wants to actually keep them. (;-; That’s so sad, what.) But it’s also worth mentioning that he IS stuck like this for a while regardless, so while he might transform back for a few minutes or so, being a little blob is kind of…not his choice rn. Which means he will be helpless if anyone decides to hurt him, and he knows it. (Also he really does need to stay in this form for a while as he recovers. He’s probably planning to transform back as soon as he feels like he’s able to not collapse instantly anymore, but that would also be something that would hurt him even more.)

I kind of like the idea of him shifting back in front of everyone, overwhelmed by how much they obviously care for him — only for them to stare at him in shock and the panic making him instantly revert back to being a blob, instead of only after the initial feeling gradually subsided. So now he’s a tiny helpless blob in front of a mob of people with every reason to punt him across the map.

Of course he books it, what else is he gonna do?

He doesn’t make it far, though. Not because he’s not a good hider, but because he’s simply not in good shape. He’s still pretty malnourished, as well as heavily injured, and he’s been sedentary in a closed box for a year. Not to mention that he’s devastated. He had everything he’d wanted for years, and he ruined it! He wants to scream, curse, kick himself — but mostly he just wants to cry.

Meanwhile, everyone is freaking the fuck out because what the hell was that? Probably a whole host of emotions is going on right then, for everyone. But…eventually they actually start to use their heads, and realize that — wait a minute, the little blob — Dream — wasn’t acting like they’d normally expect Dream to act. Dream had been helping them as a blob. He’d point out flaws in a paranoid Tommy’s base defenses for him to patch up. He’d nuzzle into Quackity’s cheeks whenever he stayed up at night crying about Charlie and also his lost loves, using his fur to dry his tears. He’d play fight with Michael, gently and happily keeping the toddler occupied as Tubbo and Ranboo watched with amusement from the sidelines. And sure, maybe some of that could have been manipulation — but all of it? It just wouldn’t make sense.

Maybe Punz spills the beans, or at least some of the beans. Maybe he tells them that Dream just wanted his family back, and that he had a plan for it. Maybe he dips a toe in the water to see how they react. Nobody knows what to think anymore, but they all decide that they should at least TRY to find him. Especially because it has started to rain.

Quackity’s the one to find him. Again, Dream hadn’t made it very far. He had ended up hiding under some bushes, wet and shivering and obviously very distressed. And sure, Quackity doesn’t like Dream. Quackity made it his goal to torture Dream to the point where the man would rather commit suicide than live another day. But Quackity loved that little blob, and the image of that little white blob soaked with rain and crying in little distressed chirps — he just can’t stand it. So he talks in that little soft voice he’d reserved specifically for the little blob, and he successfully coaxes him out of his hiding spot, and he finally manages to pick him up and cradle him in his arms before sending a note to everyone that he found Dream, and that they’ll be at the community house.

i’m going to burst into actual tears like the plot twists and the ducking rain and omg your story telling skills are incredible and i am as distressed as a tiny wet weakened blob rn omfgggf /pos

HIM TRANSFORMINF AND THEN STRAIGHT AWAY TRANSFORMING baCK is perfect 😭😭 that’s so sad because he’d be so mad and upset that he had ruined everything but also so incredibly scared :(( and once again he runs but by his luck it starts rAINing 😖

perhaps the first reactions from everyone is to actually run after him, but it’s punz that holds them back — purely to ensure that they’re not running to harm him. he explains dream’s situations and the reasoning behind his blob transformations,, and takes a lot of the blow of peoples anger and confusion (let’s them all yell at him purely so they don’t yell at him)

meanwhile quackity’s the one that branches off, wandering off in the rain to search for the little white blob that he has grown so attached to. it is virtually impossible to imagine sharing the same vulnerability with dream that he had shared with this little blob. but if the human dream that he had despised for so long truly had a softer, genuine side to him,, then quackity felt that it was worth it to truly find out and understand. and more than that, he feels that dream is worthy of help

he finds dream in a bush, not far away from where he had started running at all (cries 😭) and takes a seat next to the bush to monologue to him lmao. but like explaining how much dream has helped him, and asking him why dream did it? was it manipulative? did you actually want to help? was he being used? he’s still soaking wet in the rain, his beanie has just about soaked through and he can barely see through the raindrops on his eyelashes

eventually dreams shivering blob figure manages to drag itself out from the bush,, . hesitantly. his head is dropped in shame, and he is saturated. he looks up at quackity with the saddest most heartbreaking expression quackity has ever seen, and produces a whimpered chirp that quackity absolutely recognises as an apology. he looks pathetic, and quackity has no choice but to scoop him up. he simply cannot stand the sight of the blob that had created so much joy for him, being so broken and scared. he tucks him into his dress shirt — wincing at the feeling of his cold, wet body against his skin — and carries him back to the community house

he dries dream off and feeds him soup fzgshbvkxks. he speaks to him and unloads all his feelings. he laughs when dream tries to consume his complimentary bread roll whole. they light a campfire on the community roof once the rain stops. quackity holds dream up in his palm so that he can appreciate the view of the server better. quackity can’t stop asking if this is truly what dream wants, to get along like this, no tricks or strategy. dream makes it clear that he does. he proves his point by leaping up to nuzzle into quackity’s neck. quackity giggles and calls him a little fuck,, and then catches him and wiggles his own finger around dreams neck.

they stay up on the rooftop all night, knowing that by morning the rest of the server would find quackitys note and would be on their way to confront dream. quackity has already made up his mind though :’)

Wow Luna so original, yeah well.. I've kind of always liked reading these AUs so I figured why not give it a try here I go (this is my first "official post" dont be too harsh please lol)

So I'm a big sucker for giant!SBI and figured that instead of T!Tommy I'll have maybe all the SBI be giants and have Tubbo as the "Jack" character I guess?

A festival goes on that's ran by a mysterious man, and like Schlatt is there and he sells Tubbo the magic beans to the beanstalk

Ranboo is also there but he's Tubbos husband (obviously) and he's just there to fill the place of Jack's mom.. but yeah-

The plant grows Tubbo climbs it, he notices the castle in the sky and the plant has grown in the front yard of the castle, he hops off the plant and is honestly astonished by how big the castle is once he gets closer too it.

Tommy is the first one to find him, and he's a bit confused but a little curious as humans in the giant realm are believed to be just Fairytales just how mythical creatures are "fairytales" or "make believe" in our world

Tubbo is just.. speechless, I mean he kind of figured that someone lived /once lived there but didn't consider it to be a literal giant

Tommy picks Tubbo up against his will and takes him inside.. and Tubbo discovers there's more giants (Philza, Techno, and Wilbur) once Phil calls him for dinner

Tommy shows Tubbo off to his father and older siblings to their confusion, as they think he's just a doll or something until they notice he's blinking and breathing and stuff

Tommy asks if Tubbo with him, much to Tubbo's dismay Phil hesitantly says yes.

Here's a drawing of half-fae!Ranboo to kick off The Monarch Project!

--Heterochromic eyes but normal human aside from the colors

--toe beansssss

--digitigrade legs but not very extreme

--tiny little bean claws

--tail :D (lots of fae have tails/wings/etc. so they're good at making clothes to accommodate)

--had to borrow Wilbur's clothes until SBI could get him some of his own but he's still a little longer than Wil

--his arms aren't as skinny as I made them look but his legs are thicker. The fae magic built on the the muscle/tone he already had from spending so much time hiking/running in the forest

--Tubbo and Tommy made him a paper crown after a panic attack

--you can barely see it on his finger but he has his wedding ring (metal intertwined with flowers by Tubbo's magic)

--long ears, face is slightly flatter and less human shaped than it used to be but not enough that you can tell yet

That One Ask Game

Green: Phil and the Beanstalk Au-

Exactly what it sounds like... well, almost exactly. Phil gets his hands on magical beans, plants them, and climbs up the beanstalk. He finds himself in a garden that's far too big. Meanwhile, Techno is just tending to his plants when he sees a chilling sight- a beanstalk where it shouldn't be. A clear sign that a particular spell, one used by giant-slayers to access the giant's realm has been used.

He and his brothers are in danger.

Purple: Adrift Au-

Everyone knows that a sacrifice is the only way to gain the attention and favour of the massive gods that roam the world. Unfortunately for Ranboo, he has been chosen for the 'grand honor' of being this decade's human sacrifice for his village. A rune to call upon the gods is carved into his arm, and he's tied up and left for dead.

When the rune activates, it draws the attention of a particularly notorious god- Wilbur, the Mad Poet. Wilbur brings the little mortal back to his home with Phil and Techno. Ranboo wants nothing to do with the gods, but he might not have a choice... the rune did a little more than just summon Wilbur...

Red: Lil Gremlin Au-

Borrowers Tommy and Phil have ended up in a tight situation. While attempting to travel for an emergency, they ended up in the bag of Technoblade, a piglin hybrid whose house is a very poor place for borrowers. While there aren't any active dangers like the last house, it's nigh impossible to borrow. Techno keeps the place spotless. What's worse, he never leaves so they can't even move to another house!

When Phil falls terribly ill, Tommy has to get food for both of them, a tall task with such a tidy hybrid. But he has a plan! Unfortunately for him, Techno is a bit too observant for it to work, and Tommy ends up captured...

Blue: Celestials Au-

There exists, in the plane of existence just beyond this one, a realm of incomprehensible creatures who call themselves Celestials. Glimpses into this world have been called many things: Lovecraftian horrors, heavenly angels, really bad trips. Mortals were not meant to see this world... but it doesn't stop some from falling into rifts.

After running off following an argument with his two roommates, Tommy is one of these unfortunate mortals. He'll wake up in a world not meant for him, with massive creatures straight out of nightmares. That is... if he survives long enough for his brain to keep from melting. Hopefully a friendly Celestial will offer his mind some protection.

c!ranboo with four eyes. c!ranboo with 2-3 tails. c!ranboo with four arms and catlike paws with squishy, heart-shaped toe bean pads. Big ears. Droopy ears that go down to his shoulders. Scales are sparkly. Chest and arms and cheeks? Purple spots with bioluminescence. No mouth until he’s pissed or has to eat. Then? Unhinged jaw. Mandibles. 

He curls up on top of c!clingy and purrs when it is time to go to bed. The most gentle cryptid horror creture.

I'm also getting really peeved by those "we were so respectful of Ranboo!!! He was saying he likes men but we just respected his privacy!!" because that's just not true. First what about the reason he came out in the first place as in he made jokes about liking men characters and was told that's homophobic??? He posted a picture of him with a jelly bean saying it was his boyfriend and people got pissed he would even joke he got a boyfriend when the joke is clearly that he's dating a giant jelly bean not the outrageous notion he is with a man.

Second me and my friends have been complaining for months now that not only does Ranboo regularly get asked if he's every sexuality you can think of so people could find out if he was straight or not but very early in his streaming he talked about maybe being aspec but classic "but aspec isn't really queer :/" response happened. There are compilations out right now that are "are you gay?" "No" "are you bi?" "No" "are you pan?" "No" "are yo-" because people didn't actually respect Ranboo being unlabeled and liking men they actually didn't like even acknowledging it at all because he refused a label.

I wanna love the Ranboo community so bad and I'm soso sure this is just a small loud group of assholes but wow is no one gonna talk about the long on going disrespectful prodding into a young man's life that's been happening as soon as he got popular????

People need to stop caring about sexuality full stop. It doesn’t define you. It doesn’t give a right to do anything more than anyone else.

I have a friend a young gay guy 17 I’ve known him since he was 15. He came out last year and used the f slur whenever which I’m not offended why would I be. But I asked him if he knows what it means or where it comes from or why it’s a slur and he knew none of it. He’d never even been called it. This whole reclaiming of a slur he’s never once been called has me??? Because he says it to our other friends who aren’t out so obviously I’m not going to say a thing but dude

Anyways yeah exclusionists and fake activists are the bane of my existence
