Idk what I did, but I’ve finally started getting consistent downloads of my photos on Shutterstock. We’re talking a whopping 2-3 downloads a week at 10-50 cents a pop, but that’s still like. . .those photos are just on there as long as Shutterstock exists, giving me a non-zero amount of money, instead of just sitting on hard drives doing nothing at all

I might have kind of forgotten to post here that the X-Men* comic** I wrote is in now out in the world; SO, THAT’S A THING.
(Scott’s reactions along the bottom of that spread are also approximately my reactions to seeing this art for the first time; and, honestly, every time since, including this one. Tom Reilly and Chris O’Halloran are national treasures.)
*It’s also kinda secretly a Fantastic Four comic. **X-Men: Marvels Snapshots #1. Support your local comics shop, or buy it online, or borrow it from a friend. You do you.

thank you charlie!! 💕
7. If you were a mermaid, what sort of body of water would you live in? (Ocean, pond, etc.
so like i don't know if this is a thing, but when i read this i got like a very clear picture of something that, at the surface looks like a pond, and then you go down and it's super deep and there's like hidden coves or something??? maybe there's things like that in the ocean or in some lakes??? also i'd like wherever it is to be rainy please
15. If you could be a plant, which one would it be? Why?
maybe the ivy that grows on old buildings and cute houses, or maybe a christmas cactus. i had one and it makes very pretty translucent pink flowers twice a year. probably the ivy tho

Every day I hear of another friend who is sick, or has a relative who is sick, or knows someone who died. From the virus. Coronavirus. Covid-19. I wake up and have coffee and sit at my computer trying to work. Trying to work at writing. Then I pull out my journal and scribble some words. I think about doing a drawing or starting a new collage but I don’t. I turn on the tv and watch news shows. Everything is about the pandemic. New cases. How many have died. Testing. Stay-at-home orders. Hospitals and medical workers. Grocery store clerks. Masks. Hand sanitizer. I wonder if I will find toilet paper when I go to the store today. Then my dog, Bailey, comes over to me, makes some squeaky sounds as she looks at me with her big brown eyes. I get up, put on her leash, and we head out for a walk. The streets are quiet. A few other folks are about, some wearing masks and others not. I have a scarf over my nose and mouth. We cross the street so as not to get close to each other. We wave, say hello, smile with our eyes. The children are not in school. Many people are working from home. Others have been laid off, furloughed, or are afraid their small business will have to shut down. People are frightened, confused, angry, bored, sad. No one knows what will come next or when things will change or if we ever will go back to normal. These words I type here and now are mundane. Not much. Dull. But they are all I can manage at the moment. It is raining and chilly today. I posted a photograph of the sky with these words, just before sunset, that I took a few days ago. I like looking at it. Perhaps you will enjoy looking at it.

LOOKING FOR MYSELF, Claire Oliver
Claire's 'Leaf Litter' drawings explore her immediate environment. Interested in an ever changing landscape she sets out to find little moments of beauty on her daily walks. She is drawn to the seemingly random patterns formed by fallen leaves and twigs interspersed with man-made litter and dappled light. Collecting snapshots of the floor beneath her feet she returns to her studio where she continues to explore notions of chance. Using somewhat rudimental and playful marks to capture the lines and colours that have entered her psyche.

Anyone can use this powerful facial-recognition tool — and that's a problem
(CNN Business)You probably haven't seen PimEyes, a mysterious facial-recognition search engine, but it may have spotted you.
, it will immediately show you any pictures of yourself that the company has found around the internet. You might recognize all of them, or be surprised (or, perhaps, even horrified) by some; these images may include anything from wedding or vacation snapshots to pornographic images.PimEyes is open to anyone with internet access. It's a stark contrast from Clearview AI, which became well-known for building its enormous stash of faces with images of people from social networks and limits its use to law enforcement (Clearview
).PimEyes' decision to make facial-recognition software available to the general public crosses a line that technology companies are typically unwilling to traverse, and opens up endless possibilities for how it can be used and abused.Imagine a potential employer digging into your past, an abusive ex tracking you, or a random stranger snapping a photo of you in public and then finding you online. This is all possible through PimEyes: Though the website instructs users to search for themselves, it doesn't stop them from uploading photos of anyone. At the same time, it doesn't explicitly identify anyone by name, but as CNN Business discovered by using the site, that information may be just clicks away from images PimEyes pulls up."Using the latest technologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning, we help you find your pictures on the Internet and defend yourself from scammers, identity thieves, or people who use your image illegally," the website declares.Enter your email to receive CNN's nightcap newsletter.   บาคาร่าออนไลน์
