Christmas Six - It’s About Time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The last Christmas Post on the Queue, a dual purpose character, original and the redraw a year later! She doesn’t have a name but she does have a Spooky Shadow and sometimes that’s enough!
As A JJBA OC (I only know plot points through @goatpaste posts) she’d be a classy lady that is the bane of corrupt law enforcement and a boon to the ones just doing their jobs. Her Stand, Bone Juice, will latch onto corrupt individuals and suck the life out of them, leaving a cold unconscious body behind, covered in bites. When they wake, all individuals will be noted to act differently for a time, attempting to mend mistakes, confess to crimes, and beg for forgiveness. It’s annoying to the majority of the police Force when yet another officer shows up babbling about bribery, but the younger officers and the veterans who held onto their morals and ethics are grateful that at least someone is holding them accountable. Spooky Babe hold great parties in her manor, just watch out for the Literal Skeletons in her closets!
As A D&D character, she’d be a red herring villain, one who has been reported to be kidnapping people, but is actually running a safe house for domestic violence victims and the needy. She was a victim once and refuses to allow it again.

Street Racer Tsuna AU
Total honesty when I say this is inspired by my new and growing fascination with Initial D
I’m gonna be spitballing here so apologies in advance for the way this is written. There’s a bit of back and forth, and nothing is really in any sort of order.
If we push Reborn and Tsuna’s meeting back a few years, like say until the second or last year of High School rather than Middle School, then Tsuna can have a few years of experience with driving and realistically about a year of experience with street racing
I’m thinking that Tsuna is still the town loser - that never goes away for him unfortunately - but he creates an Alter Ego for driving
The alter ego has to be masked — “no one knows what they look like” kind of mystery. Maybe he even dresses differently when acting as his alter ego - a completely different aesthetic to further separate himself
He definitely uses a different name because everyone in Namimori knows about Dame-Tsuna. Maybe those also in the street racing game name him rather than him coming up with and giving himself a name — probably for the best honestly
I kind of want his alter ego to be the complete opposite of his own self image — confident, smart, brave, popular/liked — for the dichotomy
Take it a step further and Tsuna views himself and his alter ego as two separate people because he doesn’t actually believe he can be all those things in regular life — make him view his alter ego as a Lie; it's all acting; nothing about it is Truth and isn't who he really is (otherwise, why is he still Dame-Tsuna?)
I know nothing about cars so I'm just going to skip over that part of this
Nana is completely in the Know about this because I enjoy the headcanon that she has some crazy/weird past that allows her to be completely calm and positive in the face of everything -- so in this au her crazy/weird past is that she used to be a street racer that was never unmasked/discovered
As such it is Nana who is taught Tsuna how to drive — she's so excited to have a new bonding activity with her son and to see him visibly excited about something and actively striving to be good at it
However it's been a good decade since she's driven as a racer — she's still good but she wants the Best for her son because this is the first time he's taking initiative about something and isn't giving up; she wants him to keep this
So she calls up some old friends for some help
Cue Tsuna being mentored by several people in the several areas involved in street racing— from actual driving, the various techniques, and how to/what to do in different weather/terrain, to the parts of the car, how to fix a car, how to avoid/minimize a crash/collision; etc..
I will give Tsuna a support system of capable adults damn it!!
Most of these people will OCs but wouldn’t it amazing if one of them happened to be Skull De Mort?
The sheer possibilities of how Nana and he met— though that would mean the timeline for the Arcobaleno curse needs some handwaving magic applied to it
Oh, how about instead of Nana knowing Skull personally, it’s one of the OCs who knows a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy etc…
Ah but would introducing Skull and thus gaining a cursory introduction to the Mafia what this AU needs so early on?
Maybe Tsuna can simply become a fan of Skull and make his first meeting with him happen while Reborn has already come to town to add that extra whiplash of his student liking Skull more than him
On the topic of Reborn, since Tsuna would be older and have more confidence (not publicly as Tsuna but years of “faking it” would have some sort of affect), he would be more annoyed with Reborn’s antics than anything
Tsuna would like you to know that he has a good thing going here! He won’t let something as stupid as his bloodline get in the way of that!
I want Tsuna to double down on his rejection of being the Decimo
But that’s a bit later in the AU so let’s get back to Tsuna becoming a Street Racer
I’m not yet sure how Tsuna gets interested in street racing specifically, because ya’know that’s illegal and not something a regular civilian just comes across without outside influence
What I do know is that, rather than being like the protagonist in Initial D, Tsuna doesn’t gain a winning streak
He has too many insecurities and self doubt that he’s still in the process of tuning out to successfully have a winning streak
He is, however, Talented — thank you Hyper Intuition for being a tool that can be used to turn this boy into something great — and that gets noticed
No one can truly deny that he’ll be a force to be reckoned with once he gets more experience under his belt (and genuine confidence in himself)
But being Talented isn’t enough to get him his own name/title so I propose that he becomes Known as a racer that takes high/dangerous risks when driving and always pulls them off somehow
He doesn’t need to win a bunch of races in a row to be impressive as hell
Tsuna still does win some races of course— this an eventual-BAMF Tsuna au and he could use the confidence boost of a win

Him
In a Q&A, Jojo talked about the Hyrule's blood lore and she said it will play a big part in LU. When people begged her not to kill Hyrule, she only laughed menacingly.
Jojo.
Don't you dare hurt my baby Hyrule.
(I tried something completly different for the first drawing, with no lineart and a background. That's the second background I've ever made in my life, I've watched 15 tutorials at the same time about background tips, help-)

Commission Me! (Regular | Furry)
so overlord finished, which means new campaign time! it's finally, FINALLY time for my undead cowboy to shine!!! everyone, i'd like to introduce you to silas kelly, a character that started as a joke that i got unreasonably attached to. he's inspired by the song "hell's coming with me" by poor man's poison, and when i introduced the concept to my friends one of them (the dm for this campaign) liked the concept so much that he spawned an entire homebrew world, story, and campaign around him.
i've never been more flattered, honestly. it had to be reworked a teeny bit to be a multiplayer rather than solo campaign, but it worked out! now my amnesiac bastard has friend! just one right now, hopefully that changes.
not pictured: his trusty revolver, aka his main weapon of choice, holstered under his coat. because of course a western-themed campaign has guns who do you take us for. aiden was even nice enough to let me use divine smite (usually a melee-only feat) with it, so long as i agreed to give up one of my oath feats at level 3. not a hard choice at all, considering there's no reason to use abjure enemy when i have a gun.

Pg. 31: Sardee Angler's Bolero
Tumblr media
Finally rounding out the Disciples of the Land and the Hyogan Gallery at large is the Sardee Angler’s attire.  Once again showing practicality over aesthetic, this gear allows for easier movements whilst enjoying a day out in the open waters.  The attire still comes with all the necessary accouterments any budding Fisher could ask for.
Thalassa is the fishing rod of this set, and pays tribute to Llymlaen.  Made with Himvat materials, the sleek and elegant design aids in the reeling in of wavekin.  The line used is made of an extremely fine and tensile cord that glows an icy blue when the rod is extended, and when a lure is attached, imbues it with ice-aspected aether that assists in the hooking of wavekin, potentially freezing them as they continue biting the lure, and ultimately ensuring an easier catch.
Whether you’re relaxing at your favorite estuary, sailing the high seas, or just lulling away the long bells with some light conversation, the Sardee Angler’s attire will help add a nice topic and statement at any marine outing.  Catch some good wavekin, and look good while doing so!
(Credit and thanks to https://sapphrix.carrd.co/ for the creation of this masterpiece!)

I just really want to play in a ttrpg one day where the universe dictates everyone looks like an extreme weirdo. I want this so can make wild outfit, color-pop skin-toned, bizarre weapon wielding humanoids and NOT have the story teller or fellow players point out my character is obvious and won't blend in. Ok? Make everyone else equally ridiculous looking, then >:U I miss designing wonky ocs

Reborn
Van Richten's Guide to Ravenloft
Death isn’t always the end. The reborn exemplify this, being individuals who have died yet, somehow, still live. Some reborn exhibit the scars of fatal ends, their ashen flesh or bloodless veins making it clear that they’ve been touched by death. Other reborn are marvels of magic or science, being stitched together from disparate beings or bearing mysterious minds in manufactured bodies. Whatever their origins, reborn know a new life and seek experiences and answers all their own.
Faded Memories:
Reborn suffer from some manner of discontinuity, an interruption of their lives or physical state that their minds are ill equipped to deal with. Their memories of events before this interruption are often vague or absent. Occasionally, the most unexpected experiences might cause sensations or visions of the past to come rushing back.
Rather than sleeping, reborn regularly sit and dwell on the past, hoping for some revelation of what came before. Most of the time, these are dark, silent stretches. Occasionally, though, in a moment of peace, stress, or excitement, a reborn gains a glimpse of what came before. When you desire to have such a dreamlike vision, roll on the Lost Memories table to inspire its details.
d6 Memory
1 You recall a physically painful moment. What mark or scar on your body does it relate to?
2 A memory brings tears to your eyes. Is it a bitter or cheerful memory? Does recalling it make you feel the same way?
3 You recall a childhood memory. What about that event or who you were still influences you?4 A memory brings with it the voice of someone once close to you. How do they advise you?
5 You recall enjoying something that you can’t stand doing now. What is it? Why don’t you like it now?
6 A memory carries a vivid smell or sensation. What are you going to do to recreate that experience?
Reborn might originate from circumstances similar to those of various undead or constructs. The Reborn Origins table provides suggestions for how your character became reborn.
d8 Origins
1 You were magically resurrected but something went wrong.
2 Stitches bind your body’s mismatched pieces, and your memories come from multiple different lives.
3 After clawing free from your grave, you realized you have no memories except for a single name.
4 You were a necromancer’s undead servant for years. One day, your consciousness returned.
5 You awoke in an abandoned laboratory alongside complex designs for clockwork organs.
6 You were released after being petrified for generations. Your memories have faded, though, and your body isn't what it once was.
7 Your body hosts a possessing spirit that shares its memories and replaces your missing appendages with phantasmal limbs.
8 In public, you pass as an unremarkable individual, but you can feel the itchy straw stuffing inside you.
Ability Score Increase. Increase one ability score by 2 and increase a different one by 1, or increase three different ability scores by 1. If you are replacing your race with this lineage, replace any Ability Score Increase you previously had with this.

If you don't keep any of those elements or you choose this lineage at character creation, you gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.
Deathless Nature. You have escaped death, a fact represented by the following benefits:
You have advantage on saving throws against disease and being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
You have advantage on death saving throws.
You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe.
You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. You can finish a long rest in 4 hours if you spend those hours in an inactive, motionless state, during which you retain consciousness.
Knowledge from a Past Life. You temporarily remember glimpses of the past, perhaps faded memories from ages ago or a previous life. When you make an ability check that uses a skill, you can roll a d6 immediately after seeing the number on the d20 and add the number on the d6 to the check. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Bi Buck cured my writers block, please have this short little episode coda for 7x04. [Read on AO3]
It’s after one a.m. when the light, bubbly excitement in his stomach sours, fear creeping in. Buck’s next breath sticks in his chest, his heart races, his fingers start tingling, and it’s so much like what kissing Tommy did to him, but for all the wrong reasons this time. His phone screen is suddenly too bright in the darkness, his search history a towering mess of questions, and Reddit threads, and quizzes he clicked into then out of before he could finish taking them.
The problem, he thinks, is that it felt so right. Tommy tilted his chin up and pressed their lips together and it felt like—himself, for the first time in… forever, maybe. Buck doesn’t know what he’s meant to do with that. Go out on Saturday night, maybe (hopefully) kiss Tommy again (and again and again and again), but then… But then?
He wants to call Eddie because he always wants to call Eddie. He wants to blurt out all the things he kept under his tongue when he apologised earlier. He wants to hear Eddie say his name, soft and warm and knowing, because if anyone can make him feel seen and heard and at home in his own skin, it’s Eddie. He wants so hard it’s almost painful.
But it’s the middle of the night, he can’t call Eddie.
He can’t call Maddie either. She would answer, he knows, and she’d have just the right words for the spiralling anxiety that’s sucking him in, but he’s not going to scare her with the phone ringing in the middle of the night. There have been too many calls like that that have only been bad news.
He won’t worry Hen or Bobby with a call like that either.
And as much as Buck wants to confide in them, wants to crack his chest open and show his family what has been inside the whole time, there’s another part of him that doesn’t want to share. Not yet. He feels like the newborn calves he saw at the ranch in Montana, young and fragile and unsteady as he tries to find his feet. The world suddenly feels bigger. Brighter. And it’s exciting, it’s freeing, but he can’t help feeling daunted, like he might get lost if he’s not careful.
“Bisexual,” he says aloud, just to hear himself say it, to taste the way it feels on his tongue not just as a word but as an identity. It feels like an exhalation, trembling at the edges but not just with fear, or excitement, but with relief. He thinks of that first breath of air when his head came above water in the tsunami, he thinks of being struck by lightning, he thinks of stepping into Station 118 for the first time, he thinks of catching the Jeep keys Maddie tossed him in the dark of a Hershey street all those years ago. Buck knows what it is like to be reborn, but he has never had a kiss make him feel like this before.
Did the first time you kissed a girl feel like this? he wants to ask Hen. Does it feel like this every time?
Is this the magic you were talking about when you first met Shannon? he wants to ask Eddie.
I figured it out, he wants to tell Bobby. I figured out what being at ease with myself feels like.
He has a shift in six and a half hours, but sleep feels as impossible as it did when he first climbed into bed. Buck lifts a hand to trace his lips in his dark, reliving the memory of Tommy there. He imagines Tommy everywhere else too, trailing his hand down his body, fitting Tommy into all the places a few dozen women have touched before. He feels like a teenager, giddy at just the thought of sex—of everything—and he exhales a laugh in the dark.
Buck opens his phone again and sends a text to the one person he knows is on shift and might already be awake: when you said you’d pick me up on Saturday, you meant in the chopper right?
Tommy replies instantly: those things are a bitch to park
And a second later: maybe on the third date
There it is again: breath stuttering, heart racing, fingers tingling. Buck wonders if this is what it feels like to get behind the controls and fly. He grins at his phone. He can’t wait to find out.
