This is set in the Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin timeline, and thus the White Base has already visited Jaburo and all members are officially part of the Earth Federation Forces. The Guntank is replaced by a second Guncannon, Sleggar is present, and Cucuruz Doan's Island is relocated to the Canary Islands rather than Japan, although the event still precedes Operation Odessa.

Mobile Suit Gundam (1979) Episodes 16-25 (up to early November 0079UC)

Mobile Suit Gundam 08th MS Team Episodes 1-11 (October 6th 0079UC up to around 15th November 0079. Starts after 0079 Episode 10 (Garma's death), and finishes sometime after the battle of Odessa during the Zeon Asian Ground Forces retreat)

2011 Haylor Timeline

Timeline Tag, or years 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.

We don’t know the whole story

Although Harry and Taylor have never said when they met or started dating, often assumed to have met At the March 2012 Kids Choice Awards, because it was the first time we saw them together. 2 weeks after the awards Justin Bieber said a superstar liked Harry, but didn't name Taylor or say they met at the awards. I have a post about the Kids Choice awards/IKYWT Secret message and Harry's Jacket here.

A source close to Taylor later said to Vanity Fair he had chased her for a year, before the started dating, which was also before he kissed Emily Ostily on the 21 April 2012 and Taylor posted about infidelities to Instagram on 23 April 2012 (which doesn't make sense if they met 24 days earlier).

That would indicate they had met by March 2011. Which is likely as they were in the same city and locations throughout 2011. In 2014 Taylor told Rolling Stone:

"People think they know the whole narrative of my life, I think maybe that line is there to remind people that there are really big things they don’t know about."

As Taylor said to Time Magazine in 2023 and Harry said to Howard Stern in 2019 it's not in their interests for a new relationship to be public before they are solid.  In Harry's words 'it's never benefited me' for a relationship to be public. In 2011 people were sent death threats for having dinner with him. It's no wonder they were hidden for most of that time.  Special thanks to @cntfightmydemonsthyknowhowtoswim for help with this. 2010

27 March - Harry styles auditions for xfactor

23 July - One direction formed on X factor.

25 October - Speak Now released

12 December - X factor semi final, 1D third, Syco signed One Direction for £2 million, each boy was only paid an initial £8,000. Maybe signed on the 13th.

2011

4 January - Taylor broke up with JG, All to Well - March. Taylor seen in LA on the 5th January then not again for a month.

25-30 January 1D fly to Los Angeles. The Sun reported they were in US meeting writers and producers to start recording. It's likely they first met here.

5 February - Taylor seen for first time in a month, in LA, wearing the Key necklace in LA. It later appeared in the I knew you were trouble music video (4:45) and was sold as merchandise, there was a key for Fearless too, but it stopped after this.

19 February - 9 April; X-Factor live tour. TS tour break 20 & 21, 20th was X Factor O2 show.

17 - 30 March - Speak Now in Europe.

15 March - one direction Birmingham show, fans see boys leaving on the 16th then have 4 day weekend where he is not seen.

16 March - Taylor's Lover Journal talks about Paris, seeing castles, 4th grade and career anxiety over the Mean video. She talks about visiting having visited Neuschwanstein Castle that later appears in Bejewelled MV.

16 - 19 march Taylor seen in Paris

17 March - Taylor plays speak now in Paris at Zénith de Paris, in park bordered by Canal Saint-Denis, (technically) outside Saint-Denis.  Holy ground's secret message is “when you came to the show in SD” later the film clips for Begin Again, EHC, Falling and LOT tour images all reference canals in Paris. Taylor plays Soul Sister / Fearless mash-up for the first time that show. Soul Sister was Harry's first X-Factor Audition song. She plays the mash-up on/off for the rest of the tour and on the DVD.

21 March - Taylor in London Recording Studio wearing a rose dress key from IKYWT video. Taylor wore a Rose ring and Rose Dress the day before too.

22 March - Taylor shopping at Portobello Market and photographed at Alice in Wonderland themed store (Wonderland)

23 March - a Wednesday, Taylor wore white dress (Begin again cover) in London, Harry also in London before Nottingham show. Vanity Fair article later says they'd known each other for a year by March 2012.

30 and 31 March - One Direction Tour Break, Speak Now at O2

27 May - November 22 - Speak now in US, arm lyrics start.

6-12 June - 1D in Sweden, likely record What makes you Beautiful.

13-20 June - 1D has a break, Harry unseen, not active on social and reappears in LA on the 20th. Taylor also free 13 - 16 other than the 15th:

15 June - Taylor arm lyrics "“A moment, a love, a dream, a laugh, a kiss, a cry, our rights, our wrongs.” – The Temper Trap, Sweet Disposition. Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. Exactly one year later Harry got the lyrics from this song tattoo'ed.

17 June - Lover Journal Taylor wrote in her journal on way to Nashville “Something so unexpected and amazing happened recently... I’ve become blissfully happy with my life. Like, actually grateful for every second of the day. I've notice this onset for a while, but it's really hit me in the last week and especially since I wrote those 2 new songs. I'm happy I get to meet so many people on the road who make me feel like my music really matters to them.” One song may be State of Grace.

20-27 June - 1D in LA. Speak now break 23 & 24 June.

20 June Harry reappeared in LA at Britney concert

27 June - Taylor in Teen Vogue with photos like Babe video

2 - 10 July - Speak Now dates rescheduled due to Bronchitis. Taylor in LA and does magazine shoots.

8-15 July - 1D in LA. What makes you beautiful shot at Sycamore Cove Beach in  Malibu 14-15.

24 August - Arm Lyrics “But my heart cried out for you, California.” – Joni Mitchell, California. Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

31 August - Harry wearing paper plane necklace in heat photo shoot (1:55)

6 September - One Direction at GQ Men of the Year Awards 2011 - London. It gets mentioned in a few interviews after.

7 September - Taylor plays Tacoma -arm lyrics: “You are the ever-living ghost of what once was.” – Band of Horses, No One’s Gonna Love You. In her Lover Journal she went to Nashville rather than LA and writes Red on the plane.

10 September - WMYB on Red or Black, Harry is anxious in his solo and his hand shake. Arm lyrics “There was always something that meant more to you than me” - Jessica Andrews, “There’s More To Me Than You”

11 September - What makes you beautiful debut #1. 21st - Up all night

14 September - asked who was most confident with girls LT says "Definitely without a question say Harry, like Harry, no matter how long is known her, or who she is he will go up to her, like if it's a celebrity, like at the GQ Awards, [Niall adds "Like Pixie Lott] he will go up and sing their song and dance. It's like 100% Harold Styles." Harry then changes the conversation to silly names, Louis brings up GQ again and Harry mouths "Stop going' on about it" (9:50).

18 - 30 September - 1D in New York, filmed Gotta be You in Lake Placid NY 29 and SUNY 29 September. Speak now break 18, 21 - 23 September, shows other days. The film clip included scenes on a train, the SBT message is "when you were on the train", she wrote it sometime on a bus. Speak Now dates in Colorado, Utah and Georgia. However, 28 September is possibly an anniversary and in the Four hang out (31-33) Harry said gotta be you was his favourite 1D song of all, which Niall clapped and said “well done Taylor your boyfriends back”. Harry met Emily Ostilly.

4 October - At Bring 1D to me Munich, when asked about ‘Celebrity Dreamgirls’ Louis says "Celebrity dreamgirls um,  yeah like there's a lot of people I suppose that we think is HOT, like... Harry?" the look Zayn, Niall and Liam's expressions, and Louis this is not flirting, he is 'ribbing' Harry for making out with a famous person and sharing his secrets. Harry says his crush is Emma Watson, who the interviewer says has a crush on him,  H blushes and, not willing to let it go, Louis points out a love bite. Arm Lyrics “It’s easy saying nothing when there’s nothing to say” - KT Tunstall, “Fade Like A Shadow”

5 October - Taylor tweets “Leaving Little Rock, headed to New Orleans. Writing a song on a moving bus” in the album video (8:20) Taylor said she wrote sad beautiful tragic on a bus.

17 October - Harry goes to Ed Sheeran concert with Louis at Eleanor's university then not seen till rehearsals 2 weeks later.

19 October - Harry did a 10 min phone interview alone with Grimmy and said he was passing through Birmingham. There are voices in the background at the end.

20 October - Taylor played San Diego. Harry was not seen. He posted "Finally set the correct time on my Microwave..I feel like a new man." on Twitter.

24 October- Harry is coughing in an interview and looks and sounds unwell. At 16:20 the interviewer asks about their break, Harry purses his lips for age thinking then says he is tried when he comes back to work because he spends his break rushing around to see everyone. Zayn looks to Louis who gives a loud “Hmmm” which is a tell of his for knowing more than is said.

30 October - Taylor writes in lover journal she (also) has a chest infection!

2 November - One Direction Tour rehearsals Harry back in London for month

17 November - Louis quoted in media  "Harry's found 'The One' now." and doesn't name Caroline. Harry and Caroline never say more than friends, Eleanor seen with Louis often.

18 November - Up all night released. In listening party says “more than this” is his favorite, it’s a deep one. Harry in London,  has dinner with Caroline Flack. On 27 November on chatty man Harry clarifies there were other people there and again says just friends. Articles and Caroline tweets about death threats for having dinner with Harry. (Like WTF would anyone date him publicly?).

22 November - Taylor posts photo of London shop for preppie rugby menswear (!) and posts a photo to instagram with "Superior Style and Quality Fit" 👀 written on the window. This is a latergram, she had a show in Madison Square Garden. On October 3 Harry had said Rugby shirts look better on girls.

24 November Sugarscope asks if they have an eye on anyone in the US and mention Taylor Swift, all 5 are actually quiet for the first time, Liam’s face changes to serious (0:34), Harry and Zayn look at Louis, maybe because of Oct 4. Niall offers Demi Lovato and all the boys start saying Hollywood in a silly voice. The same interviewer asks about romantic Christmas plans, Louis looks at Harry again, Harry answers truthfully “Christmas at home with family” seems the interviewer and band know what’s not being said, they ask Harry twice

8 December - Caroline and Harry photo, see Caroline post from another blog

13 December - Taylor's birthday party inside her Nashville apartment. posted a photo in a recording studio, so assumed that Begin again was recorded on on her birthday. Taylor not seen again that year other than Snow on the Beach Photos. Harry seen in London on the 13th. One direction in tour rehearsals till tour begins 18 December in England.

15 December - Harry posted that he went skinny dipping, as in no shorts to avoid doubt. Taylor still MIA. Paper Rings vibes.

16 December - it snowed in Liverpool, including the "Snow on the beach" 50 minutes from Harry's house in Holmes Chapel.

I8 December - 1 July - Up all night tour, Europe till us in February

22 December - in 1D you tube the band chose a fan question “from Taylor, if you were a girl who would you date” and Zayn laughs and says Harry.

24 December - One Direction Holiday till 3 January. Taylor MIA.

28 December - Taylor posts three photos from a beach one with her face on the beach "Childhood beach memories revisited" and one with snow on the beach behind her "Nothing quite like a freezing cold, wintery beach." some have assumed this was in New Jersey, but the shadows look like an afternoon on an western coast and there was no snow in NJ, nor Taylor seen near there. It had snowed at the beach in Liverpool which is west.

29 December - Taylor posted a seashell with Safe and Sound Lyrics written (it had just been released) with the caption "Saying goodbye to the shore, writing on a seashell."

30 December - Harry got his drivers licence, on 28 June 2012 on Bert show (11 mins) said “the first thing I did was my …….. someone brought the car to me and I dropped them off at the pub” Harry was in Manchester. Louis posted he was in Paris Disneyland with Eleanor. Apart from the winter/snow on the beach photos Taylor hadn't been seen for a week, she then posted a goodbye and Harry's first drive was to drop someone secret somewhere. 👀 

31 December - Harry goes back to London flat for new years party, in same interview Harry said they spent Christmas at home

3 January - Caroline Break up announcement. Harry later tweets, he 'didn't dump' her, he never said they were more than friends. Caroline also said "95% of what was reported was false".

We don’t have a huge reveal for today, but we got possibly the most important card for the next three years. It is Mirror Formation of the Ten Sacred Treasures, a Kuji-Kuri Curse for Level 10 and lower monsters.

We were supposed to get this card back in Series 11 (Rise of the Duelist to Cyberstorm Access) due to massive influx of Level 10 Main Deck monsters, but for some reason it was never printed. Now, in the first set of Series 12, as the first daily reveal, it is shown.

This is an insanely pivotal card for many, many GX-era archetypes, and ARC-V archetypes, and antagonist Decks from various series including Dark Signers’ Earthbound Immortal (well, it is actually kinda the reverse), and Aporia’s Level 10 Meklord Astros, as well as Z-One’s Timelords (lol this got revealed the day prior to Z-One’s Duel Links unlock event’s start). 

What this card means for casual animé fans is, finally, the massive amount of unprinted, predominantly Season 1 ARC-V boss monsters are now open as options, but also your favourite GX-era characters who got recent Level 10 boss monsters will get pumped in lots of new support. And that is the merely the surface level of possibilities of this card can unlock. For example, because of The Legendary Exodia Incarnate statue we are getting, and the previous Three-Eyed Ghost reveal, we might even get main set Exodia support for next DM main set. Or rest of the Dark Signers in Duel Links. Or main set Slifer support for the next DM set.

*This card’s slot number is 64, which is below the new Evolution Pill card. This doesn’t tell us much, but it means Spells go at least to slot 64.

*The other Levels without Kuji-Kuri Curse/Trade-In analogue are:

**Level 4, 3, 2, 1 (Level 4 has a few draw cards, though. Soul Transition for Normal Summonable/Settable cards, and Gemini Spark for Level 4 Geminis).

Next target should logically be Level 11, but due to recent Level 12 support, I’m guessing we will be getting Level 12 before that. I don’t what will happen after that though (maybe we will finally get LINK-7/8? FTC Lose a 4-year case on all major issues in FTC Vs Jason Cardiff.

The Federal Trade Commission filed a lawsuit against Jason Cardiff and Redwood Scientific in October of 2018 seeking $18,000,000 in damages, to forfeit his companies and to be permanently enjoined from every manufacturing thin strip technology products.  Instead, the Court denied damages, denied a permanent injunction against Cardiff manufacturing thin strip technology pharmaceutical products and ordered the return of his companies to Cardiff.  The allegations fundamentally involved the FTC's claim that Redwood failed to conduct clinical tests on the efficacy of Redwood’s popular weight loss and tobacco cessation products and the products did not work whereas Redwood claimed that the products contained the active ingredients to produce the desired results. 

Redwood agreed that it would conduct the testing prescribed by the Court going forward.

Even though the FTC was offered millions by the Cardiff’s to settle the case, the FTC’s lead litigator, Elizabeth Sanger, refused any dollar amount other than the FTC’s full demand for $18,000,000. Mr. Cardiff says  “It is a sad day when the Government is offered millions of dollars to settle a hotly disputed case and they end up  getting nothing in the end. “

How is Redwood Scientific different post Judgement as to its business practices?

A)      “It is important to understand this case.   We sold products that contained the active ingredients for weight control and tobacco cessations.   Over thousands of people gave positive reviews to our tobacco cessation products with many crediting TBX-FREE with helping them to stop smoking.   The FTC sued us claiming that we should have tested the products.   If the FTC had asked us to test the products, we would taken the products off the market while testing them and provided the results to the FTC.  Instead, the FTC got some “testifiers” who they piad to claim that the products were not effective.   The FTC and Receiver opposed our request that the Receiver provide funds to test the products.  In other words, the FTC did not want to have scientists test the actual products to determine if the FTC’s claims were accurate or truthful. A)      “The Federal Trade Commission appears unable to tell the whole truth about anything regarding this case.  Ironically, the FTC is supposedly the agency that protects the public false, misleading and deceptive statements but is making false statements to the public by omission.  Significantly, The FTC omits any mention of the fact that the FTC was denied the $18,000,000 it asked the court to impose in Restitution.  That would be something that the public might want to know.  The FTC was also denied its request to impose a lifetime ban on thin film Manufacturing. Why did the FTC go after VPL Medical?

A)      “VPL Medical, one of the first manufacturing companies in the USA to make three ply medical face masks.   Unfortunately, the Court allowed the Redwood Receiver to take VPL over.   Although VPL had already shown substantial profit before a receivership was imposed, the Receiver lost a contract with the U.S. Health and Human Services Department that would have supplied tens of millions of face masks to replenish the Strategic Stockpile and supply state and local governments with face masks during the height of the Pandemic.   This was not only a severe financial loss to the public, but caused injury to our country’s readiness to supply PPE to its citizens. 20-55858.pdf (uscourts.gov)

Did Redwood or any of your Companies ever have a Muti Level Marketing platform or MLM and can you tell us why it was part of the Litigation.  

A)      “Great question, neither Redwood or any other company I owned was an MLM company.  We don’t know why they wanted to include MLM but bottom line, we did not care if we ever have an Multi-Level Marketing company because it’s just not what we do. Redwood focuses on known active ingredients that worked and the delivery mechanism of Oral Thin Film stirps. How much of role did your counsel play in this case we see you have over 714 filing on the federal court Docket.

A)      “ This was one of the most complex pieces of litigation you can ask for.   The FTC started with an ex parte restraining order that seized all my assets and company assets which would have been used to defend ourselves.   This was a huge advantage that was improperly granted almost four decades ago by the Ninth Circuit and adopted in other jurisdictions.  We started with attorneys who did the best that they could but the FTC was able to succeed based on prior precedent.  Steve Cochell successfully pursued FTC v. Credit Bureau Center, a case in which the Seventh Circuit reversed the FTC’s misuse of Section 13(b). The Supreme Court unanimously struck down the FTC’s use of Section 13(b) as a source of authority to seize the assets of companies, their owners and impose receiverships. Federal Trade Commission v. This was a true “David-versus-Goliath” case where we were up against the US Federal Government and an agency with over 1000 attorneys.  The FTC appeared to have spent a huge amount of resources with no less than six lawyers, and numerous paralegal and staff to bring and litigate this case.  This was an extremely difficult case to defend because the FTC has overwhelming resources and both my funds and company were seized by the Receiver so we were left with no funds to support ourselves or pay a lawyer.   Steve Cochell has outlitigated the FTC in this and several other cases and is truly one of the best lawyers out there for FTC cases.   Cochell Law Firm Racks Up Major Wins Against the FTC

You had a lot of filing and issues with the receiver what is your side of what happened?

A)      “The system is corrupt and should be changed.   The only people who “won” this case was the Receiver, who billed over $2.5 Million during this case.    While the FTC claims it represents “victims”, the Agency turned down our offers to settle the case, get VPL out of receivership and help pay alleged victims out of profits.   Although the Receiver was supposed to operate the Company, he shut down the operation, he did not even visit the factory for almost a month or take action to make sure that we were able to perform a multi-million dollar contract with the HHS.   The district courts appoint receivers, who are nominated by the FTC and are often involved in numerous other FTC cases, and the Courts uncritically appoint these individuals as an arm of the Court.  Instead, the receivers take sides early on favoring the FTC in the name of compensating victims of the alleged fraud.  The Receivers routinely make hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars leaving victims uncompensated.

Based on unsubstantiated hearsay by people with no engineering expertise, the Receiver claimed our production lines were inoperable and that VPL was a scam.   It took months to get the Court to order the Receiver to pay our Chief Engineer, who got all the production lines up and running within two weeks despite the Receiver’s false, unsupported claims.  The Receiver never took responsibility nor did the Court hold the receiver responsible for making such a basic error that likely cost VPL millions in revenues.

Despite getting paid almost 100% throughout this case, the Receiver Lawyer is listed as receiving $800,000 for Payroll Protection Program (“PPP”) by another arm of the federal government.   Seems to me that somebody should be looking into how this large receivership firm somehow got paid for doing receivership work and then got funds for PPP.

The Receiver’s lawyer knew that the Receiver was deceased, but did not disclose that fact to the Receiver was dead, and that the principal members of his firm were dead.  Given the fact that the accountant undertook the receivership duties without any notice from the Court, we reported this matter to the Court.  Unfortunately, the Court decided to take no action.  

What did you think of the Judge in this case: Dolly Gee.

A)      “Well, that is complicated to answer. At times, Judge Gee appeared to make rulings that expanded the power of receiverships.   We took exception to her ruling that receivers are entitled to seize property that is unrelated to the entire underlying fraud.  This is the result we believe is stated and set out in SEC v. Liu, a Supreme Court case from 2020.   However, Judge Gee held that the Supreme Court’s decision in Liu was limited only to SEC cases, which is totally contrary to the broad unlimited language of the Court.  On the other hand, Judge Gee refused to allow the FTC to present evidence of damages that it sought to introduce and ruled that the FTC failed to properly disclose the damages under the Rules of Civil Procedure.  This was a major loss for the FTC.  Of course, they did not put that in their Press Release! What is your recommendation to people accused of FTC violations?

“My advice to people who are accused of FTC violations find lawyers who are experienced in FTC litigation and can aggressively defend you.   This is not the kind of case that you give to your family lawyer or someone who is a good litigator, but unfamiliar with FTC litigation.”

Mr. Cardiff went on to say that, “his companies and future are brighter than ever and look forward to participating in any debate about the behavior the FTC as a rogue agency that can seem to follow the law. It is strange that an agency that is supposed to help companies abide by the law however the FTC  cannot even follow the law themselves.”

Very good question. I’m not sure. I actually don’t have a solid timeline with exact dates planned out, so I’m going to make one now, for the benefit of both you guys and myself, because apparently I’ve mixed up these dates several times throughout the comic’s creation.

Original Timeline: (This is all just headcanon/exclusive to EtC, btw—-)

-Breaking the Bank: March 2018

-Escaping the Prison: April 2018. Henry spends about 2 weeks in prison before making his escape.

-Stealing the Diamond: August 14th, 2018. (The only date I’m 100% certain on, as it is my birthday, and what I’m basing literally everything else in this timeline on.) The timeline for EtC splinters here.

-Infiltrating the Airship: February, 2019

-Fleeing the Complex: June 2019

-Completing the Mission: June 2019, a maximum of 2 weeks after FtC, depending on the ending. Henry does all 16, ending with Triple Threat.

-Triple Threat lasts about two years without being reset, making it mid-2021 when Henry gets sent back. (In the past I said once that it was 2022 when Henry was sent back, but that was so early on in the comic that I had no idea when Henry had even been sent back to, therefore that was completely incorrect.)

Goodball Timeline/Ending the Cycle:

-Stealing the Diamond: August 14th, 2018. Instead of successfully stealing the diamond, Henry fails via Goodball, releasing a glitch that kills him and two guards. The timeline is considered doomed. Originally, the Tunisian Diamond was also corrupted beyond the point of being salvageable, but something changed (as of the Intermission after Act 2.) The Tunisian Diamond is now considered missing instead.

-During a failed mission in Triple Threat, present day Henry gets sent into the past because of a mysterious machine the Toppat Clan used on him and the rest of his team. Henry is sent back about 3 years to the Goodball timeline, to October 14th of 2018, exactly 2 months after StD/the timeline was declared doomed. He starts his journey from the bank, making his way into the city by truck by nightfall.

-Infiltrating the Airship suddenly happens 4 months ahead of schedule, on October 15th, 2018, because Zentaro tipped off the government about the new Henry’s sudden appearance in the city the night before.

-On October 16th, 2018, all the way in Russia, present-day Ellie arrives at the Wall, starting a new version of Fleeing the Complex 8 months ahead of schedule. (You are here.)

The Birthday Massacre’s demos uploaded to Patreon (part 1)

First of all, I highly recommend that you support the band by subscribing to their Patreon, so you can listen to and download these for yourself :) But for those without the means to, or those who want a concise list, here we are! Broken into Part 1 and 2.

In order of upload (oldest to most recent). Text in quotation marks is copied + pasted directly from the Patreon upload. Unquoted text is my own thoughts. 

Undone- Demo for Parallel World. “This is the first scribble of an idea for the song "Parallel World." In this version you can see the idea, but it's yet to be explored.” It seems that this was saved on the 5th March 2018, 2 years before the album Diamonds was released. Instrumental, length: 1:31.

Undone- Parallel World Structure. “In this version of the demo, the idea is starting to take shape. The structure is taking shape and there are some new sounds being added. From here we will usually start to think about lyrics and melody and begin adding those layers as we build the song into its full production. After listening to this go and throw the album on and see what's changed from its early stages!” Saved on the 26th of March 2019, a year after the first demo and a year before the album was released. Instrumental, length: 3:17.

Diamonds Demo. “Here's the groundwork of what would become the title track on the latest album! A simple demo before drums or vocal ideas were put forth.” Saved on 26th Jan 2018, over 2 years before the album release. Instrumental, length: 2:29.

Poison. Mirrors demo. “Here's a demo for another track off the new album! A lot of our songs start this way as 1 minute ideas or moods and then grow into their full versions!” Saved 7th July 2018. Length: 0:52.

NewBlood. “Walking with Strangers era demo that never made the cut!” Instrumental, length: 1:36. The exact date it was created/saved is unknown. 

Drop. Early version of Red Stars. It features a different vocal take, and is the same track that circled around before. Length: 3:42.

4track - 1st Song - Instrumental - 1997. “Just found this along with some other goodies that Falcore just dug up! We talk about these 4track demos in the first interview with the band on Patreon”. Length: 3:50.

Seance. “Here's a treat for you from the "Superstition" unused folder!”. Saved 21st October 2013, a year before the Superstition album was released. As with the production of other Superstition songs, it sounds very 80′s electro. Instrumental, length: 3:28

NightTerrors. Surrender instrumental demo. “Here's another example of where a song might be born from. A lot of our ideas start like this. A minute or two long idea that pops into your head and then you flesh it out into a full song later.” This is a demo for Surrender. The working title ‘NightTerrors’ confirms my interpretation of the song which is about nightmares, and some that I have had myself. Saved 12th July 2013, more than a year before Superstition was released. Instrumental, length: 1:35.

Torment. “Here's another unreleased track that didn't make it onto "Superstition."” Another ‘electro’ instrumental demo. Saved 16th September 2013, over a year before Superstition’s release. Length: 4:28.

Melancholia. Another Superstition demo, sounding very distorted and spooky. Instrumental, length: 0:54. Exact date unknown.

Blacktop Recess. “Essentially these demos are a little more fleshed out.  This is where we would get the song before going to see Dave in Vancouver to work on the final versions.” A demo of Falling Down, with an early vocal take and slightly different lyrics. Length: 4:49. Exact date unknown.

Mirrors idea. “Here's a great example of an idea that didn't get used for "Under Your Spell" but made its way onto "Diamonds."” A demo of Mirrors, instrumental, length: 4:52. Exact date unknown.

Electro. “Going back to the Walking With Strangers era we have this "Electro" piece. An idea that formed and evolved but never got to make it to the melody and lyrics phase!” An instrumental demo, very reminiscent of Shiver, but not mentioned in relation to. Length: 4:28. Exact date unknown.

One - Rainbow Version. “This is a great example of the development of the songs from original idea to final product. Rainbow's mix has different lyrics and the guitar lines on the album version hadn't been dreamt up just yet.”. An early version of One, featuring Rainbow’s vocals instead of Chibi’s. This one hits different because of the lyric She never made it to 21. Exact date unknown, length: 3:35.

Demon. Endless instrumental demo. “Here's a little treat from "Under Your Spell." This is how "Endless" would have sounded when it was presented to the group to make into a full song.” Instrumental, length: 3:08. Saved 11th January 2017.

Broke as Your Heart. “Here's a "Hide and Seek" era demo that didn't end up getting completed.” Instrumental, length: 1:42. Exact date unknown. 

Play With Fire (Rainbow Version). “It's "Play with Fire" as produced by Rainbow.” Vocals by Rainbow. Length: 3:54, exact date unknown. Part of Rainbow's Wight Eye's sessions, where Play With Fire, Superstition, One, All Of Nothing, The Lowest Low and Crush were first created.

Faces. “A b-side from "Pins and Needles" that didn't quite make the cut.” A full song featuring Chibi’s vocals, with a sound and lyrics that very much fit into the themes of Pins and Needles. Length: 3:13. Exact date unknown. 

Castle. "unreleased demo idea". A short, unfinished instrumental piece, made as an idea for Hide and Seek. Length: 0:25. Exact date unknown.

Rise of the TMNT Timeline

Alright, by piecing together some clues from the show and making some educated guesses, I’ve put together a tentative chronology for Rise!

(Note: not all episodes are included, just a couple that either have timeline evidence or are somehow plot notable. This is assuming the canonical episode order is also chronological order.)

[EDIT] Added some more information (namely Splinter’s birthday month).

1600s-ish: The Shredder was created and sealed away September 1960: Splinter was born 1966: Splinter’s mother left (Finale part 1 flashback) 1979: Splinter left for America (Finale part 1 flashback) 1980-1984: Splinter became an action film star, dated around 1984: Splinter started dating Big Mama 1987: Splinter’s “Hot Soup: the Game” was released 1989: Splinter proposed to Big Mama, was imprisoned in Battle Nexus November 2002: April was born April-August 2003: (Presumably) Raph was born April-August 2004: (Presumably) Leo and Donnie were born April-August 2005: (Presumably) Mikey was born October 2005: Splinter and the Turtles were mutated February 2014: The first Lair Games was held 2014-2016: Donnie made his first battleshell, goggles, and tech bracer Early 2018: Piebald was flushed August 2018: Mystic Mayhem (the series begins), Down with the Sickness September 2018: The Turtle Tank was created (The Fast and the Furriest), Bug Busters, Hypno part Deux October 2018: Bullhop,  Evil League of Mutants, Shelldon was first created (Smart Lair), Shadow of Evil November 2018: April’s 16th Birthday (Warren and Hypno), April meets Sunita (Operation: Normal) December 2018: Snow Day January 2019: S1 Finale February 2019: The sixth Lair Games was held (Lair Games), Repairin’ the Baron March 2019: Air Turtle April-May 2019: S2 Finale

(Reasoning below the cut!)

So. Assuming that the episodes occur in chronological order, we can reasonably assume that the course of the show proper takes around or slightly less than a year.

In Hypno Part Deux, April is going to a homecoming dance; homecoming dances happen usually around the beginning of the school year, in late September or early October. Since she is canonically 15 at the time (she says she’s 16 in Always Be Brownies, which happens after her birthday) and has a birthday that comes after homecoming, that would likely make her a high school junior! That’s not important, just a fun fact. Placing the beginning of the series around August makes sense, then, since it’d be before April started school and during flu season, giving Splinter a good reason for catching the rat flu in Down with the Sickness.

The other solid time marker we have is Snow Day, which obviously takes place during snow season in New York (which is usually December to March). It’d likely be closer to December, since I’d like to imagine that they would have gone out to have fun in the snow as soon as they could have, potentially even at first snow. Since Lair Games comes chronologically after Snow Day and confirms the year as being 2019, we can assume that most episodes that happen before Snow Day happened in 2018 while those after happened in 2019.

Another, slightly more tenuous time marker is Bullhop, where a calendar is shown that says the 21st of the month was on a Sunday; by our previous assumption, this is 2018, so a calendar shows this must have been during the month of October, which falls in line with the rest of our timeline here! Neat. The 2018-2019 NBA season went from October 6 to April 10, so, since Air Turtle presumably showed a late season game with potential for turnaround, early March seems like a fair bet. All of those episodes combined give a pretty good sense of time throughout the series, spanning from probably around August 2018 to Mid-2019. The finale could have happened any time after March and before June (when high school would end, meaning Sloppy Joe wouldn’t have had to be working Draxum’s kitchen). Because there were quite a few episodes that should have happened before the finale, though, I’ll split the difference and say the S2 finale happened in or around May.

Fun detail: by this timeline, April’s birthday is sometime between October and December/January, likely November (seeing as it comes after Bullhop but before Snow Day, and judging by the fall colors of the foliage in Operation Normal which comes directly after her birthday episode.)

As for the brothers, we can assume that they might have different birthdays judging by how in Lair Games, Mikey says that one of his favorite days is “my birthday”; if they all shared a birthday, he might have been more likely to say “our birthday”. They were mutated sometime close to October, but since they didn’t seem to see the date of their mutation as anything special in ELoM, we can assume they don’t celebrate it as their birthday. We know that at the beginning of the show, Mikey is 13, Leo and Donnie are 14, and Raph is 15; at no point during the show do any of them have a birthday, which leads me to assume that they are the same ages by the S2 finale. They COULD have had a birthday offscreen, but since birthdays are a pretty big thing for teenagers, I’d think that if one of them had a birthday it would be pretty noteworthy. I’ll just guess and say they didn’t have one. If that’s the case, then all of their birthdays would be some time between April-ish and August-ish. By the time the show starts, then, they would have already had their birthdays, confirming for us their (probably only guessed anyway but whatever) birth years as 2003, 2004, and 2005. Realistically, Splinter probably didn’t know how much older Raph was from any of the others or anything like that, but the years are still somewhat important for age calculation purposes. I could try to guess their birthday months by saying they might all have wanted a unique birthday month, but that would be complete conjecture on my part (as compared to the rest of this which is just mostly conjecture), and would honestly be more headcanon territory than an educated guess? So for the timeline I’ll just say that their birthdays are between April and August.

Now, reaching further backwards to figure out Splinter’s life timeline!

In Splinter’s memories in E-turtle Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, we see a clip of a teenage Splinter. Said “teenage splinter” looks to be on the older side of teenager, as he seems to have his own apartment and just looks older besides, so I’d place him at either 18 or 19 (leaning towards 19). Additionally, taking a look around his room, it looks like he might be using a Sony Walkman (first made in 1979), and has what looks to be a Star Wars poster on his wall (1977). Additionally, he has a TV in his room that looks to be a Toshiba Blackstripe model that was popular in the mid-to-late 70s. While I can’t tell if he does actually have a walkman or not, I’d probably place this scene as being 1978 or 1979 anyway, so let’s just say it’s 1979. If he was 19 in 1979, that would place Splinter’s birth year as 1960, which is nice and even so I’m keeping it. That would make Splinter 58-59 during the course of the show, which seems to track! He has a birthday in Mascot Melee (the turtles are buying him a new robe as a birthday present), which, according to my episode timeline, puts his birthday around early September.

The flashback of Splinter as a kid is a little bit tricky, since he looks to be about five or six judging by how he acts in the scene? But he’s also holding a Kamen Rider doll, and that show didn’t exist until 1971. I nonetheless place the scene in 1966, since this is a cartoon and hey, maybe the Kamen Rider equivalent came out a few years earlier in this world, who cares. The bottle flip challenge already apparently happened in 2014 here, why not move some other stuff around? This exercise has already had me comparing calendar days, I will not be deterred

In Many Unhappy Returns, the clapperboard for the film “Crouching Shrimp, Hidden Tiger Prawn” in Splinter’s flashback shows that it was 1984 when he first met Big Mama, meaning that he was not only Lou Jitsu by then (at just 24 years old!), but that he had been making movies for at least a few years. After all, he and Big Mama were supposedly inseparable after meeting, and in The Shadow of Evil, it’s shown that Splinter did date around a bit as a star. Assuming that rat dad isn’t the cheating type, that would have had to be before meeting Big Mama. In Fists of Furry, Splinter mentions that he hasn’t seen any of his dojos in thirty years; while he may not have meant literally thirty years on the dot, assuming he’s at least close, that would mean that he was first abducted around 1989 (age 29). At that point, he and Big Mama would have been dating for around 5 years, which seems like a reasonable amount of time for him to wait before proposing. He also would have had time to build up quite a bit of fame as a movie star; the game he had of him looks to be on a system similar to the Atari 2600 and in fact looks pretty similar to the real life game “Kung Fu Master” that came out on Atari in 1987, a year which would have been the prime of his career. Sure, that date works as well as any. After that point, we know he was imprisoned in the Battle Nexus until Baron Draxum kidnapped him in order to use his DNA to mutate the turtles 13 years before The Evil League of Mutants. That would have placed his kidnapping and their mutations at around October of 2005, judging by the monthly timeline of the show. So, Splinter would have been around 45 when he adopted the turtles, after having been imprisoned and forced to fight for ~16 straight years. Dang.

Finally, I figured that the whole deal with Shredder and Karai would have happened at some point in the 1600s as it was 18 generations ago, judging by the number of “greats” in Karai’s grandma title, and if you average out a generation to be about 20-25 years, that lands you in the range of the 15th century. That works especially because Ninja apparently first started becoming a thing in the 15th century, so the timing checks out well enough.

(and, just as an extra fun note for the timeline, the lair games was said to have been going on for 6 years as of early 2019, meaning it must have started in 2014. We see that, in 2014 (year 1 of the Lair Games), Donnie doesn’t have his goggles or battleshell and is instead wearing glasses. In 2016 (year 3), though, he looks about the same as he does in the present, meaning he must have created all his tech that he wears on him (battleshell, goggles, tech bracer) between 2014 and 2016.)

So, the above timeline is a guesstimated and shoved around compilation of all this totally meaningless investigation, typed in a form that makes some kind of chronological sense! I hope that someone finds it useful, or just fun to think about :D
