Laundry room ✨ glow up ✨ 🤩
Is that how the kids are using glow up? I’m too old for this. So old, in fact, that redoing my laundry room excites me.

My friend’s apartment was being remodeled with lighter concrete because everyone’s computers were too heavy. They were told they could have also exchanged their computers for an Apple product if they didn’t want the remodel.

The kittens are giving everyone life right now! We love them to pieces! We’ll see what it’s like when it’s time for them to go.
DH and I got out for a super quick lunch yesterday to celebrate our engagement 13 years ago. It feels like yesterday and a lifetime ago at the same time. How does that happen?
The upstairs remodel plods along. We are 16 months in but have a date for our floors—two weeks to go and we should have them installed. Then we can move onto doors, trim, and closet design. Maybe by the time we hit the two year mark, we will actually be done. 🤷🏻♀️

I'm begging home renovators. If you're in a position where you have to remove outdoor steps anyway - why not just update them with a ramp?
Disabled people. Young children. The elderly. Those are a few good examples of why you should choose to update with a ramp. Not to mention it's easier to move stuff in & out.
& as someone who used to volunteer with the historical society & help renovate/repair old homes & buildings. You can update with ramps that fit the aesthetic/time period of the property.
If you're doing a new build. Please consider ramps inside instead of stairs too. For the same reasons!
Plus, they're super cool looking!
