criessss, a little baby red eared slider showed up in my aunt's backyard, which definitely does not contain any sort of water. we think he was picked up and dropped by a cat or a bird or something...? he's got a scratch on his foot, but we got him set up in a little tank and he's doing alright! super curious and active!

I wish I could keep him ;O; but alas they get too big for anything other than a pond, so to the local reptile rescue he goes

A year ago today I became a box turtle pornographer! 

Never having seen how turtles, um, do it, I found it facinating. Only a bit later did I realize how weird this little photo shoot might seem to other people. 

The really funny thing is I’d forgotten about these pics entirely until Amazon Prime reminded me today. It’s been a loooong year!

A quick Kaprosuchus before work
