If you just got here, this is Harumi Hasashi in her Spider Gwen Era!

This is a reality where Harumi became the Scorpion of the Shirai Ryu!

I wrote an entire backstory for her and had lots of fun brainstorming with my gal @mikka-minns, and you can find it all right here!

And as I was specially inspired, I also made a second design! May I introduce you to:

☆☆☆☆Sub-Zero!Lisa Liang☆☆☆☆

She was Minnie's idea!

Lisa Liang is the forgotten Sub-Zero Sibling, but here she has a special role being Harumi's main Sub-Zero rival and love interest!

Lisa's personally is quite similar to Kuai Liang in Battle of the Realms. She is driven by her emotions, devoted, dedicated and extremely stubborn!

But her tough exterior hides a bold and gentle heart! She is extremely caring of her family and those she consider friends and allies. Never dare to cause harm to her loved ones, you do not wish to be on the receiving end of her wrath!

Much like her older brother, Bi-Han, Lisa has gathered countless enemies, to which would prove to be too much for a single warrior, luckily for the Cryomancer, she is not alone, for her guardian, her Scorpion, her lover, Harumi Hasashi, dutifully and loyally fights alongside her in every battle!

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

You met the Girlfriends! Now allow me to introduce you to some other members of this AU!

KUAI LIANG:

Youngest of the Sub-Zero Siblings! Being 9 years younger than Bi-Han and 3 minutes younger than Lisa, Kuai had to learn form a young age how to stand his ground so he wouldn't be bossed around by their own siblings!

Naturally born leader and wise beyond his age. He and Lisa lead the Lin Kuei to a new era of prosperity as defenders of Earthrealm!

Kuai was the first to reach out and seek to make peace with Harumi, once she had proven deserving of his forgiveness.

As he was also under the Scorpion's protection, he had spent plenty of time with her, and they soon became close friends, they would confide to each other from the most mundane to the deepest secrets.

He was the first Harumi confided her love for Lisa. And he was also the first Lisa confided her love for Harumi.

He told both the same thing: Well, wasn't that obvious?

BI-HAN (AND SAREENA)

The oldest of the Sub-Zero Siblings, Bi-Han is known to be ruthless, cruel and merciless to all his enemies!

And though he lives up to his reputation, few know that he is not beyond merciful acts, "never women and children" is his one rule!

And even after he was swallowed by darkness and driven to madness under Quan Chi's spells, this one rule remained.

With one solemn exception: His murderer, the Scorpion of the Shirai Ryu.

For years, he sought revenge. And he would fight anyone who dared to stand in his way, even his own twin siblings.

He felt betrayed the first time they fought. Betrayed, heartbroken, confused and extremely angry! He could not comprehend why his own siblings would chose this Shirai Ryu, his killer, over him!

He would keep fighting them for years, each time more aggressively, more heartbroken, till one day his sister stood bravely between him and his prey, "If you want her, you will have to kill me first" she told him. And as much as he hated his siblings at that moment, he could never hurt them.

He disappeared after that fight, back to Netherrealm. He could not comprehend, couldn't fathom why his sister would ever put her life in such a risk for some Scorpion!

He stayed in hell for the years to come, but not alone. He had made himself a friend, a demon called Sareena. She was nice to him, and dreamed with a life if freedom, out of Netherrealm.

He liked to hear her escape plans, and after some time, he even started to come up with some plans of his own and brainstorm with her. Till one day, they managed to escape!

Sareena was happy, she bounced and giggled happily, regarding her new surroundings in awe.

Bi-Han loved that sight of her. He loved her. And he would never let anything or anyone hurt her!

And it hit him.

Why his sister would not let him hurt that stupid little Scorpion.

Bi-Han never apologised to Harumi for trying to kill her. He never even apologised to his own siblings. He never felt he truly owed them an apology.

But he did tell them he would not let any harm come to them. To any of them.

Kuai, always the diplomat, invited him and Sareena to join them for lunch someday.

"We will see..." was his only response, "we will see..."

HANZO HASASHI

Harumi has met Hanzo twice in her life.

First time she met him, was when they were kids. He came to her village one day, and requested the Grandmaster himself to give him a home to live and in exchange he would train to become the greatest of all warriors!

It was a bold request for such a small child, but Harumi never doubted him, much due to her own ambitions being quite similar, if not the same as his!

Harumi, dreamed of being Scorpion!

It did not take long before the two of them started to get along! They would play together and when the time came, they started to train together!

They had a pact, the two of them: "We will help each other become the best warriors of the clan! And whoever becomes Scorpion names the other as their second in command!"

One pact they dutifully kept! Harumi was named Scorpion and she took Hanzo as her Second in Command, and in that same day, she also took him as her husband.

Harumi loved Hanzo deeply. And together they build a home for themselves and their son. They were her world.

But that world was brutally taken from her. Hanzo was taken from her. And from that day on, she would never be the same.

The second time she met Hanzo he was not quite her Hanzo.

He was from another reality, one in which he was named Scorpion and she was his Second in Command. She was also his wife, mother of his son, his world. World that was also brutally taken from him.

He was not exactly like her Hanzo, even if subtly, she could tell he was his own person, but happily, he was a person she grew to adore!

He was lovely, with the biggest of all heats. She could tell his Harumi was loved by him.

Their meeting was quite a necessary event, things buried deeply in their hearts finally found their say out and a feeling of peace hovered above them.

Closure was found. And with it, a newly found need to move on!

They were quite similar, this Hanzo and Harumi. There was much about their lives they shared, good and bad.

But it was when he confided his love not for her but for his world's Kuai Liang that she realised another similarity:

That Scorpion is bound to fall in love with Sub-Zero.

Titan Ombra

Note: This is so close to “Rise of the Villains: Darker than Black” ending but it’s not the same. So yeah, minor spoilers ahead! Also, this is not proofread.

Title: Ombra the Ironhead, Goddess of knowledge and revenge

Motto: “I infect their minds like a deadly desease.”

Powers:

Ferrokinesis - Ombra has full control over iron, but she can also manipulate other kinds of metals without being able to create them out of thin air.

Gift of Knowledge - Ombra is able to manipulate the minds of those she has chosen to make them “aware”, or in other words, grant them the awakening. Once the awakening has happened, that person unearths the arcane knowledge of the universe whether in just a second (by Ombra) or a lifetime.

Call of rebellion - Ombra gathered an army of angry people all around the tealms to rebel against the cult. She can do that now with less effort.

Realm they favor: Not a realm, but Quan Chi’s timeline. Also, she tends to spend more time in Metalrealm since she used to live there most of her life.

Places of Worship: There are temples all over the realms in which people can go to and pray. At the beginning of her timeline, Ombra was unsure about whether make herself known to her creatures, or keep her identity classified. But then she realized that it’s for the best to do what the Elder Gods did in the previous timeline. So Ombra created her own cult and religion in order to control the creatures. That was exactly what she fought against in the previous timeline, but she came to realize that she was stuck in a loop. There was no escaping this eroded system. Gradually, she watched herself turn into something she used to hate with every bits of her being.

Consort: Titan!Quan Chi is now her unofficial official husband. They found each other again after eons of loneliness and anticipation. However, Ombra made sure that the Quan Chi in her timeline has the good life he deserves.

Physical Appearance: Ombra now has short hair - it’s pretty short on the left side close to her forehead, and it gradually grows longer as it circles around her head to her right side -. Her left eye is golden, and the skin around it is gray with golden edges and veins as though it was exploded. The scars on her cheeks which grow from her iron jaw are golden as well.

Armor/Style of clothing: Ombra remains loyal to the style she used to have in the previous timeline. She’s almost always is seen to be wearing a black overcoat which makes her look a bit huge. Underneath that she wears customized vest with gothic elements, a shirt or a turtleneck. As for shoes, Ombra wears knee-high punk/gothic boots.

Weapons: Ombra doesn’t really need any weapons as she is able to create a lot of them with her powers. However, when it comes to her weapon of choice, Ombra prefers a gunblade. She can manipulate the blade while also shooting those who have dared to wrong her.

How does Geras help them/regard them: They have a love-hate kind of relationship. Geras a admires her calculated and intelligent character, but he also knows what she did in the previous timeline - causing an apocalypse -. At first he tried his best to stop her from executing her new plan: killing the remaining cultists and aiding the deadly alliance. But now he feels like his mindset is gradually becoming like Ombra’s. She’s the one in control after all.

Any characters or events that have drastically changed that you would like to mention?:

1. Quan Chi is the protector of the Netherrealm because he deserves the best.

2. Her parents are alive and have a good life without her. She just watches them from afar.

3. Shao Kahn is the protector of Outworld.

4. Jerrod and Sindel rule Edenia, and Kitana is their only daughter. Then Kitana falls in love with Jade, her bodyguard.

5. Hotaru is the protector of Orderrealm.

6. Havik is the protector of Chaosrealm.

7. Shirai Ryu doesn’t exist.

8. Raiden and Fujin are Ombra’s butlers.

9. Tarkatans are a race of people who live somewhere far from the cities of Outworld. Mileena is their princess.

Backstory/Notes/Tidbits:

The whole world was pouring down my fingers, splitting in between them. The Elder Gods were clawing at the last rope of chance to save their throne, never accepting that it was already too late. Cetrion had sheltered behind her mother, begging her to end me. Little did she know that I would never be dead really. Thousands of me was born all across their realms with sharpened teeth, ready to follow my footsteps. However, I was left with no choice but to fight Kronika in combat.

After the keeper of time turned into solid stone before my eyes, and was shattered to dust, I kneeled down. The blood staining my overcoat was almost invisible. It was only Kronika’s dust which shone like stars over this black sky.

Now I was the keeper of time. This uninvited responsibility of restarting the whole timeline and creating the new one fell heavy on my already exhausted shoulders. It was true what they said about people like me. We fought with monsters only to turn into one. Now I was one of them, exactly. It was all a cycle perhaps.

But I was granted with the greatest power. The reality would bend to my will. I would keep chasing any remaining cultists, and remind them who was their worst nightmare. And I would only hope that one day, I’d shroud myself in Quan Chi’s arms with a peaceful mind.

"Shut-up"-rubric

So, Kuai Liang.

An example of such a rare phenomenon for MK as character development. We saw him as an impulsive young jerk who doesn't think about the consequences. We saw him broken and broken by the events of his life. We saw him as a mature and wise man who accepted his mistakes and his past.

And he acts like a fucking hypocrite when Bi Han shows up.

What happened, man? What crimes are you accusing your brother of? Was he an assassin and a mercenary in the past? Yes, and so are you, too. You were literally doing the same things in the service of the clan, in the service of Quan Chi, under the leadership of Shao Kahn.

This is incredibly strange, because Kuai literally accuses Bi Han of a lot of terrible things, as if Kuai himself did not do it. As if his friends - Smoke and Scorpion - weren't doing it. They literally did the same things. Or is Kuai still offended by his brother for those words of his at the cemetery "We share blood, but we are not brothers"? Kuai himself was a revenant in the service of Quan Chi, as was Bi Han. Kuai got out of this slavery. And Kuai, better than anyone else, should understand how the mind, will and personality of the resurrected are distorted. He is ready to justify anyone for their crimes - Hanzo, Tomas, Cyrex, finding reservations and justifications for their actions. But when it comes to Bi Han - the same broken, distorted, conquered by the evil will of a necromancer, tormented by wandering through the Netherrealm - Kuai throws accusations at him.

Is Kuai trying to disown his own crimes by blaming his brother and denying him sympathy? Hardly. We saw him as a man who has enough courage to admit and accept his mistakes.

Or maybe Kuai has some personal scores with his brother? It's hard to believe, because Kuai rushed to avenge him. He was really heartbroken by the loss of his brother. He was ready to challenge Shao Kahn himself. People take revenge for those they love, and Kuai clearly loved his brother.

That's why his cruel hypocritical attitude towards Bi Han in MK11 looks so strange and disgusting.

And in fact, there is no clear reason for such behavior. Accusations of assassination and mercenary activities sound incredibly ridiculous from the mouth of a assassin and a mercenary whose friends are assassins and mercenaries.

Get the yellow dude's dick out of your head already and behave properly.

All Confirmed Mk Timelines. Part 1

Since NRS has confirmed the multiverse I decided to make a long list of existing timelines using all non canonical endings. Plus extra timelines I’ve thrown in for fun.

Two important notes: Offshoots exist and timelines are given codes similar to DC's worlds.

Chapter 1: Bi-han / Noob Saibot

#Bi1 (Mk Ending) Bi-han is the champion of Mortal Kombat and assassinate Shang Tsung. After being rewarded a large sum of money from one of Tsung’s enemies Bi-han retires from his life in the Lin Kuei. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.

#Nb1 (MK3 Ending) Noob Saibot under the orders of Shinnok kills Shao Kahn and allows Shinnok to seize control over Outworld and Earthrealm.

#Nb2 (Mk Armageddon Ending) Noob Saibot defeats Blaze and is confronted by Sub Zero. His past reflection. The two are forced into kombat but neither could beat the other resulting in Noob to be transformed into something else. Something new and something dangerous. What he became is unknown. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist. One resulting in Noob Saibot becoming a God.

#Nb3 (Mk9 Ending) Noob Saibot forms an alliance with Havik. He betrays Quan Chi and with the help from Chaosrealm Noob Saibot seize control over the netherrealm and becomes the God of Death. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.

#TNB1 (Titan Noob Saibot) (Mk11 Ending) After obtaining the Hourglass Noob Saibot corrupts the universe and enslaves everyone to his will. Making himself the Elder God of death.

#Bi2 (Mk1 Final Chapter) Heroic Bi-han who is a good guy from his timeline. Currently unknown. Offshoots from this timeline have been known to exist.

#TBi1 (Titan Bi-han) (Mk1 S3 Invasion) Bi-han (Not Noob Saibot) becomes Keeper of Time and incase the realms in an eternal winter. He forced everyone to join him. Those that refused were frozen to death. Main timeline has been presumed deceased. However there are offshoots known to exist.

#CGN1 (Chaos God Noob) (Offshoot from Nb3) Noob Saibot and Havik form an alliance to take over Netherrealm. Noob betrays Havik to obtain the amulet of Apophis. Bi-han uses the amulet to become the new God of Chaos. But at the cost of his mind. Now Noob is a puppet to the chaos lord.

#GGK1 (Greed God Kollector) Inflicted with an uncontrollable greed Kaui Liang and Bi-han fight for control over the Lin Kuei. Bi-han lost and got his face melted with gold forcing him to flee to Chaosrealm. This conflict catches the attention of Havik.

#WKL1 (Wraith Kuai Liang) Noob Saibot in a last ditch attempt at revenge finds a way to possess his brother's body. Now Noob Saibot controls the powers of both darkness and ice.

Live footage of Fire God Liu Kang rewinding time to see what went wrong when he sees Hanzo legit kill Quan Chi despite being told they needed him alive to undo the revenants.

Liu: Bruh.

Yeah I imagine that's why Hanzo got turned into a kid because Liu saw how Hanzo inadvertently caused problems with his shirt temper.

I have no idea what Liu Kang thought when he kicked Hanzo out from his Scorpion’s identity and put that cursed mantle on Kuai Liang, but I doubt his decision was based on one event. Hanzo killing Quan Chi is a culmination of many tragedies that befalls on original/alternative Scorpion through more than two decades. The man experienced his own death, losing wife, child and whole clan in a brutal way, being manipulated and turned into Wraith responsible for a great number of innocent lives ruined and taken. Generally speaking, Hanzo endured emotional and psychological abuse. What he did in MKX was selfish, as he put his revenge above the possibility to save other revenants and in result, eliminate the threat of Netherrealm but he did not do that for lulz or out of spite. Hanzo was a victim who finally had a chance to punish his abuser for all the injustice done to him and his family and this need for revenge was built for years. If I was guessing the reason behind Liu Kang’s choice, I would rather say he decided to spare Hanzo the misery that being Scorpion brought him rather than punishing abused man for causing an unwanted problem.

Of course, the choice backfired, as Hanzo is still a traumatized person in Liu Kang’s timeline and now trained for future war between Shirai Ryu and Lin Kuei that may mess up the boy even further. But it seems like timeline likes to “fix” the changes done by the new Keeper of Time, as a lot other things have already backfired when it comes to Tarkatan, Mileena, Sub-Zero, the sorcerers and General Shao.

Shinnok ruler of the Netherrealm(Hell) resurrects Belos and makes him a servant and a pawn in his plans to escape the Netherrealm again and gain revenge against the Elder Gods and Liu Kang. False promising him that he will get revenge on the witches and Luz for “abandoning” him and restore his brother Caleb and make him the witch hunter Phillip wanted him to be.

😈 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 😈

Aleiska was born in a low-income family and from a very young age she ended up hanging out with all kinds of gang members, which greatly influenced her personality, turning her into a tomboy. The only crimes that she committed with her companions were theft and vandalism, but one day (when Aleiska was approximately 17 years old) one of her people ended up murdering a police officer by accident after they had been caught and found themselves cornered with no way to escape. This caused panic to the entire group who quickly had to flee from there, however, most were caught and some were killed by that police officer's colleagues. Aleiska was barely able to escape thanks to the fact that when she separated from the rest, she inadvertently ran into a bald man with white skin, his name was Quan Chi, who opened a portal to the Netherrealm, telling Aleiska that she would be safe on the other side. In the midst of panic, she didn't stop to think about the danger and just obeyed without knowing that this would be the beginning of his worst nightmares.

Although it may not seem like it, she was tortured for many years by the sorcerer Quan Chi, his cruelty was such that he ended up causing serious damage to Aleiska's psyche, causing her to have moments of dissociation as she had no idea about if her body really belonged to her or if it was part of the demon that now lived inside her thanks to the experiments that her captor performed on her, but even so, she never stopped thinking about escaping his clutches and returning home. The abuse of the necromancer gave no respite and that is something that Aleiska decided to never forget, because she promised herself to take revenge on Quan Chi as soon as she surpassed him in power. It could be said that this is her reason for existing and what kept her conscious in the midst of the physical and mental pain that she suffered every day in the cruel clutches of Quan Chi.

When Aleiska finally managed to escape from her captor and return to Earthrealm, so many years had passed that her parents were no longer alive. That revelation caused her several minutes of dissociation due to the denial she was in, because she couldn't believe that that huge amount of years had passed. When she recovered from the shock, she left what used to be her home deciding to move on with her life adding the death of her parents to her list of reasons to mercilessly murder Quan Chi.

It should be noted that despite the years that had passed, she still looked like a young woman in her 20s, all thanks to the fact that she was now a demon.

She met Kurtis one day when she had decided to rob a bank (because she was not able to leave the criminal life despite everything), but precisely that day other thieves decided to do a robbery at the same bank she chose, therefore she ended up as a hostage of said criminals; Stryker and his team were in charge of stopping the robbery, that's how he and Aleiska ended up exchanging a couple of words regarding her well-being, although at that moment the blonde guy mistook her for a boy. In addition, Aleiska felt nervous because she was afraid that he discovered that she also had intentions of robbing that bank, so when she received permission to leave, she did so at high speed. This was noticed by the polices and his partner Kabal (who also thought she was a man), who mentioned Aleiska's behavior, saying that perhaps they should keep an eye on her, which Kurtis denied, assuring him that it was not necessary, making him snort, as he felt that his friend was too trusting at times.

As the days went by, Aleiska and Stryker began to bump into each other with no apparent explanation, even in peculiar places like clothing stores and pet stores. At first it was funny, but the more it repeated, the more uncomfortable and curious they became. The reason why they were curious (especially Stryker, who had already begun to realize that Aleiska was a woman when he saw her in a t-shirt once) was because they didn't know if they were following each other, but it especially bothered Aleiska, because for the police officer's presence, she hadn't had much luck robbing in certain places, since where she was he was too, so she made the decision to put an end to that once and for all by going to the police station by herself to face the blonde guy.

After stealing Stryker's motorcycle she drove to the roof of a building, making sure that he and Kabal saw her, and there she waited for them. She rolled her eyes in boredom when she heard the typical speech about having broken the law, and she threw the motorcycle at both of them, who dodged it. Kabal didn't notice that he had Aleiska behind him then, and she took advantage of this for kicking his heels, leaving him lying on the floor. She then went for Kurtis, but he was more skilled than his partner in avoiding every blow and kick that the opponent was trying to connect, he even managed to hit her a couple of times and give her an electric shock with his taser in the middle of the fight. Those things only served to excite Aleiska, because she felt that she had found an opponent who would help her get stronger, but that thought changed the moment she had managed to put Kurtis on the ground and they stared into each other's eyes, panting. with the same smile of satisfaction at the exciting fight they were having, they even forgot that Kabal was watching them closely with a grim expression, in part because he was just processing the revelation of Aleiska's gender.

Being in that position they began to flirt with each other without any intention of hiding it, that's how they finally learned the other's name and a familiar feeling began to resonate within them, but Kabal's irritated voice made them separate quickly, feeling embarrassed by the situation.The black-haired man wanted to put Aleiska behind bars for the theft of his partner's vehicle, but Stryker asked him to leave things like this this time, because Aleiska promised to return the motorcycle and leave it as it was before taking it, she even filled it of gasoline (with stolen money, but that was not important). Once they fixed things, they said goodbye, but Kurtis and Aleiska didn't stop thinking about each other that night, they felt a great need to see each other again and that's how they both ended up meeting outside the police station in other ocassion, in which he asked her out and she accepted.

A common person would say that their relationship was very hasty, since not even a week passed when they were both getting married in the Netherrealm (Kurtis was the one who proposed to her, but since Aleiska is a criminal and he is an officer, they couldn't get married, so she proposed to make the marriage and ceremony/ritual as well like the demons do it and he accepted, that is why they do not wear the wedding rings on their hands, but hanging on their necks as necklaces). For them, it was perfect like this, they were completely sure of each other's love and that was enough . This is how Aleiska became Aleiska Stryker.

During the events of the Mortal Kombat tournament, she didn't agree with her husband being involved in matters that involved monsters and other types of people who were not entirely human, since Kurtis was only a police officer, but precisely because he was a police officer, he felt he couldn't turn a blind eye to so much injustice and unnecessary violence, so Aleiska decided to accompany him. Raiden wanted to stop her, but she looked at him with contempt as a threat, which didn't scare the thunder god, so Liu Kang had to intervene before they ended up fighting each other unnecessarily, but he failed, as Aleiska not only kicked his butt but also the thunder god's, although this was enough for their companions to insist on having Aleiska on their side, making so Raiden agreed.

Thanks to Aleiska is that Kabal doesn't end up charred because she protects him and forces him to stay out of the situation, and Stryker survives Sindel's attack in this timeline, since Aleiska stood between them preventing the death of her lover.

Not in all timelines Aleiska gets her revenge against Quan Chi, because she is not the only one who seeks revenge on him, but in the ones she manages to do so, she finally feels free and that makes the demon inside her be easier to control for her, as if their souls were united giving way to a new person, much stronger and more powerful.

In the present, Aleiska decides to reform completely, leaving the criminal life, only having one or another street battles because she enjoys them, but now dedicating time to her home with Kurtis, who continues to dedicate himself to applying justice as captain of police officer, but taking the time to be with the family he created with his wife, having Kabal as his son's godfather and Johnny as the cool uncle (he and Aleiska became very close friends during the tournament due to their similar personalities). The latter offered her a job in the world of acting and she accepted, because she could earn some extra money, this time clean and honest.

In the timelines where Kurtis dies, Aleiska ends up going into depression and losing her mind, giving way to the demon inside her to take over her body, thus becoming an entity whose sole purpose is to destroy everything in her path until she finds Quan Chi, because the only reason that kept her sane was her husband. ﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏﹏

In the 𝐌𝐊𝟏 timeline, Aleiska's entire story before meeting Stryker is the same, what changes is the way she meets him, since he is now Johnny's personal bodyguard.

In this new line, Aleiska also has her revenge against Quan Chi set for all the pain he caused her, although this time she has more difficulty at making the demon inside her obey, which causes her to isolate herself from other people, therefore, although she continues her life of crime, it is not very frequent, because she fears hurting others.

Cage meets Aleiska at the local shopping center and is struck by her attractiveness, but not in a sexual way, but because according to him she has the physique of an actor, which suggests that he confused Aleiska with a man, just like happened in all timelines the first time they met. He hardly even had to insist Aleiska to work with him, because she needed the money, and besides, Johnny was offering her free room and board for accepting his offer, and although Aleiska thought it was too generous of him, she didn't question it. She was certainly afraid of hurting her new ally, but in a way she felt that everything was going to be okay.

One day when they were both hanging out as friends between drinks and video games, Johnny ended up touching her chest by accident and that's how he discovered that Aleiska was not a man, he felt very embarrassed and quickly removed his hand from that place, apologizing. She was not angry because she knew that it was just an accident, to which Johnny expressed how uncomfortable he felt because all this time he had thought that she was a boy and therefore a bro to him, and after this, Aleiska assured him that she could continue being her "bro" without a problem because she sees him the same way, this funny event makes their friendly bond even stronger instead of making things awkward.It should be noted that Stryker was there too, not as a bodyguard but as a friend of the actor, so he witnessed everything and was surprised by the revelation of Aleiska's gender.

The way she and Kurtis fall in love again is very similar to that of other timelines, it is as if both of them inside were inevitably drawn to each other. When they look into each other's eyes, they feel that they have known each other for a long time and that is what makes their relationship seem rushed in each timeline, because when they start dating, they end up married in less than a week, an event that neither of them understand, but they don't give it importance, because they are sure that they were born to know each other and be together in each life, each timeline and universe. It is he who manages to completely tame the demon that lives inside Aleiska.

No matter what life they have, the two of them will always meet and always fall in love, there is nothing and no one that can prevent their souls from meeting.

My boy is horrified but he cannot tear his gaze away for the life of him, he's trapped in the horrific rapture of you ripping your face open in order to slide a massive slice of pizza into your throat.

Kabal is nothing if not horny so his immediate thoughts are what else you might unhook your jaw open to put in your mouth.

It doesn't help that you regularly make wet gagging noises when swallowing with your mouth that wide, and he has enough shame to look away and be embarrassed for what your inhuman jaw-opening powers do to him.

Kuai Liang (Sub Zero)

He's quite disturbed that not only can you dislocate your jaw at will but also that you rip your face open in the process and that's completely normal for you.

But at the same time, he's explicitly aware that he has weird hereditary ice powers, so he won't complain about you being weird.

In a strange balance of not wanting to be rude and being too afraid of upsetting you, when you do dislocate your jaw in front of him he just kind of smiles awkwardly because he has no idea what he's supposed to do otherwise.

Hanzo Hasashi (Scorpion)

If Hanzo is grossed out, he's very careful that his face doesn't show it.

Considering the amount of time he would've spent as a revenge demon in Netherrealm, he's probably seen more fucked up things than you dislocating your jaw and ripping your face open.

Assuming that you're (probably?) not a demon, then he just makes a mental note not to say anything about your jaw powers.

Kung Lao

When Lao first sees you dislocate your jaw, it's so unexpected that he thinks he's imagining it.

Fully under the impression that he's hallucinating your jaw opening like that he just laughs to himself quietly "Haha, what the fuck?, and it's only when you turn around to look at him with your mouth slipping over some poor bastards head does he realise that he is in fact NOT hallucinating.

At this point, Lao leaves as quickly as he can because he doesn't have any idea what else to say or do.

I have had a thought! No idea if this thought has any value or not but I have had it and it goeth thusly:

We all know I love me some t4t subscorp, right? and that I love the idea of Kuai Liang being Frost's father figure

Hear me out, what if:

Kuai Liang ends up pregnant while part of the old Lin Kuei, probably bc of a mission and Frost is the resultant child. This wouldn't actually change canon that much but basically since Kuai Liang isn't expected back until after he gives birth anyways, Kuai Liang takes advantage of the time he's got to flee, going on the run to protect her, knowing that she will be a cryomancer and that the Lin Kuei will do to her what they did to him.

This leads to him meeting Hanzo (also trans in this au) who understands what he's going through (having been the one to carry and give birth to Satoshi) and ends up protecting them both. He's there when Kuai Liang gives birth and talks him through it, and Kuai Liang makes him swear to protect Frost if the Lin Kuei catch him.

Kuai Liang names her Nuan, which was his father's mother's name, and even though it is risky bc the Lin Kuei might recognize the name, it is a connection that he can give her to him in the event that they are separated, which he fears is inevitable.

Quan Chi intervenes and forces Hanzo back to the Netherrealm as Kuai Liang watches (despite Quan Chi not knowing that Kuai Liang is involved) so things get complicated.

Now stuck on his own and with the Lin Kuei closing in, Kuai Liang does the only thing he can think of and gives her to Raiden as he's the only person Kuai Liang knows of that the Lin Kuei fear and won't cross (this is before he knows what Raiden is like). Kuai Liang leaves her with a blanket that has her name embroidered into it and asks Raiden to make sure she knew that she was loved, even if she knows nothing else, she must know that

But rather than protect her, Raiden sends her away under the guise that anonymity is better protection than the temple walls and he doesn't want to risk war with the Lin Kuei this close to the tournament over an infant, so she has to go. He tries to keep tabs on her but loses track eventually, assuming that she has died

When Kuai Liang is resurrected after the netherrealm war, Frost is the first person he asks for when waking up in Raiden's temple, assuming that she will be there and be well and that he will finally get to see her again only to be told that she died years ago, though Raiden does not tell Kuai Liang that he ever sent her away, letting him believe that she'd been at the temple her whole life

upon hearing this, he loses it on Raiden and tries to kill the god, eventually fleeing the temple and ending up outside the Shirai Ryu where Hanzo greets him. Kuai Liang breaks down into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably (He had told Hanzo about Frost being with Raiden when they were trapped in the netherrealm) and tells him what has happened, leading to Hanzo offering him sanctuary.

Kuai Liang, blaming the Lin Kuei for being the reason he had to give her up in the first place, immediately starts hunting down the cyber Lin Kuei and killing them all in revenge. He does briefly get possessed by the dagger, then freed by Hanzo (this time without being left for dead) and eventually he reclaims his temple and secludes himself there, refusing to leave, at which point Raiden sends the new recruits, and Frost though Raiden was unaware of that, to his door.

So Frost still grows up in the black dragon fighting pits and still ends up joining the Lin Kuei the same way she does in canon, but this time there are secrets that get revealed as a result and a lot of tears during the reunion

Shinnok

A millennia ago a battle between Raiden, God of Thunder and protector of Earthrealm, and Shinnok, an elder god sought to conquer all of the realms. After his defeat he was banished to the Netherrealm and later his own amulet. Reforming a new body after Raiden beheaded him, Shinnok plans to invade Earthrealm with his demon armies.

Liu Kang

Raised by shaolin monks, Liu Kang was thought the way of the spiritual warrior. Becoming the champion of two Mortal Kombat tournaments. Under Raiden's teachings he defeated both the Shang Tsung and the Outworld emperor Shao Kahn. When Outworld forces invaded Earthrealm he argued with Raiden on how to respond, getting Liu Kang killed accedentally. Now as a revenant he rules over the Netherrealm aidding Shinnok in his conquest. In return the fallen god helps him get revenge againts Raiden

Kung Lao

Kung Lao was Trained by the shaolin monks to be one of Earthrealm's best warriors. But his immaturity and rambunkchesnes prevents him from being taken seriously, as his friend Liu Kang. After his death at the hands of Shao Kahn, Quan Chi brought him back as a revenant. Now he serves Shinnok in the Netherrealm.

Smoke

Tomas vrbada was recruited into Lin Kuei for his ability to turn into a wisp of smoke. Smoke doesn't remember much of his childhood, the Lin Kuei is his family, specifically the second Sub-Zero that he treats like a brother. After Sindel's massacure durring the Outworld invation he came back as a revenant, going by the name Enemra he serves Shinnok in the Netherrealm.

Sindel

Forced to marry Shao Kahn after he conquered her realm of Edenia, queen Sindel has killed herself. As a sacrafice to defen Earthrealm from the Outworld epmperor. Durring the Outworld invation she was brought back to live by the sorcerer Shang Tsung, and murdered most of Earthrealm's protectors incleuding her own daughter,Kitana. After the first Nightwolf sacraficed himself to defeat her, she came back as a revenant now serves Shinnok in the Netherrealm.

Kabal

Former member of the Black Dragon gang, Kabal put his criminal ways behinde him and put his fighting skill to better use. He joined the NYPD to stop the criminal underworld. Durring the Outworld invation he got severly burn, wearing a life support system gaining super speed. joining the forces of light he was later killed by Sindel, now a revenant of the Netherrealm.

Wip Wednesday fic snippet ^^ who's gonna do the horrors of kabal some justice. ANYWAYS !!!!!!

“damn, with how many people are around you'd think I was a celebrity..”

“be quiet.”

Kabal shrugged, not caring enough to listen to what the rest of them were discussing, trying more to investigate what was on his ankles and wrists- perhaps he was in an Edenian dungeon, the air smelled like he was in Edenia- traces of magiks strong and contorting as a current-

he glanced back over to Kano- the reason his life is now all wrong, threw him to the red dragon like lamb to slaughter- he's thinking too hard and he's far too close to a telepath for his own comfort- again, he glances around, his gaze stilling on Stryker, the man made his heart ache and bleed, it is another thing the red dragon had taken from him, his ability to breathe without agony, or to feel air on his skin, to feel anything along his body without the sensation he was burning another time, to take away everything he could've ever possibly done, break him in ways immendable- he cannot love, not be held, not feel anything on his skin, not warmth or cold- his ability to feel numbed, in its wake a never ending rage, hate, a fire the Red Dragon were unable to steal from him, brought back from the brink of death and convinced by the same chaos mage to restore his clan and sought out a deserved revenge- if Kabal desired anything, it was to break down Mavado and make him hurt as he had done to him.

Kabal really wasn't sure what happened, exactly- he watched exactly wordlessly how Reptile held Stryker's hand- a quiet comfort to the horrors of himself, it left a hollow emptiness in his chest, he's disgraceful, maybe- Kenshi flinches and tenses when his thoughts got intense as they always did- the branches of pain beginning to arise in his chest, releasing a withheld breath in the form of a sigh, he hated the situation he got himself in- hated more on how powerless he was rendered.

“You're breaking.” the low gravelly chime of his spirit snarled, “you are still weak from Mavado's assault.”

Kabal hung his head low, acknowledging the creature's contempt for his state.

“where- is he?” Kabal growled- with the same hate he's harbored heavy in his heart for the man.

“Dead.” it made his blood boil “But he's escaped netherrealm.” The spirit tilted it's head, Kabal could still reap vengeance.

“Where.” Kabal yanked his arms, trying to free himself from his restraints.

“I do not know.” the spirit retorted “Settle a truce-”

“It's against my values, what of my anarchy? the trust the dragons have in me and our cause of complete societal collapse?” Kabal stared at how his wrists were bound above his head, eyeing the metal with intent study.

“What of your gas and plasma that the mask releases? they should melt this if they can melt flesh..” The spirit approached him, the green glow and faint flickering fire it trailed, engulfing its skeletal form, nudging one of the chains with its lower horn- just as curious as he was.

“Maybe-” Kabal took in a deep breath, letting the respirator release a horrific purpling cloud that hid his wrists.

the weight around his wrists felt lighter, pulling his hands quickly from it, the respirator letting out a hiss as he released held breath, rubbing at the warped marbled skin, the numbness shooting a tingling sense in his fingertips.

“My escape is rather limited..” Kabal looked closely at the chains, they stung his skin- he presumes from the chill, he had no saw blade to cut himself free with- holding his breath another time, watching plasma eat away at the metal in strange awe- not reacting to how the exposed skin near it bled from its contact, rising to stand on wobbled knees- Kabal was impossible to keep trapped, never caught- never kept.

“What now, Rhino?” Kabal looked over, adjusting his clothes and mask, checking over the hose and oxygens state- The spirit trotted to where the door had been shut, Locked- perhaps.

“With enough force the metal will weaken- then the building may be against you, without a saw blade or hooksword, what is it you have left, Karlos?”

Kabal stilled, the use of his name was foreign, and hearing it hissed out from his spirit was almost surreal- words clumping together in his throat.

“I have my speed.” Kabal glared at the skeletal rhino “I have my plasma, my gas, and my strength, with my own speed- there is little to oppose me until my swords and blades are returned to me.” he took a few steps back, the spirit watching him intently, nodding- the fire and green light that once illuminated the chamber left him now in the dark, the reddish light of his respirator and machinery lighting it up faintly.

Kabal threw about as much force and put in as much velocity as he could manage in his cell against the door with a almost deafening noise- it wasn't enough- the door was awkwardly opened, the metal dented and bent- his lungs did not burn, there weren't aches or pains in his body or joints.

again, he reared back- repeating the same dash towards the door, it weakly giving in to his abuse of it, clattering into the hallway- stepping over the obstacle.

He glanced around the hall, moving casually further down it, his weapons were a top priority, He'd just have to find where exactly they were being kept- the likely scenario was that the entire vicinity had heard him barge down the door to his cell- at least the thrill would be enjoyable, perhaps that's the only bonus for him here.
