Atos is eternally (literally) grateful to Thorne for essentially saving him and taking him into an afterlife he can feel safe in. He shows this with little affections. When he first got to the afterlife he'd been worn down from 30+ years of wandering, so he'd rest around Thorne a lot

wait what age are you allowed to drive at in brazil? you can start learning to drive at 16 in aus and a lot of people i knew had their provisional licenses at 17... so like, last year or two of schooling depending on when they started, so many of them had cars

Oohh i see, interesting!! :0 on Brazil you're able to drive at 18! But even then you have to go through the whole license process before you can Legally drive, so people are often already done with high school by the time they can drive-

​oh yeah for sure! like its neat to compare stuff because of dialect and how much things vary from region to region but once "x is better than y Because It Is" comes into the mix i get peeved. unfortunately this is a more-than-once conflict in my household :p

Hexx Riftmire is the asura of the two-man "krewe-band" with Kizzy Riftclaw. He's a wry, sarcastic, cheeky bastard that is quick to ask "why not?" to any problem in his way. Despite being a bit of an asshole up front, he's actually very sweet and doting to those few friends that know him (he's a little persimmon, you just gotta wait until he's gets all mushy and soft).

Hexx use to be part of the College of Statics like Zuumi and Wyre (all three were roommates at one time), but got fired from his internship at the weather and forecast college for some thinly veiled sarcasm and cheek that UNFORTUNATELY one of the board of trusties didn't find amusing (the dean found it funny though).

Then after that he transferred to College of Synergynics to delve into mist string theory. Phlunt hates that Synergenics breeds little renegades like him, Taimi, and Zojja. He's certainly a sarcastic bastard enough for him to find his cheek endearing. Hexx graduated, then now is your local fractal of the mists junkie.

There actually is a sliver of a personal reason why Hexx is so drawn to exploring the Fractals of the Mist, his aunt was a part of a special ops krewe called Omnicron Kai aka "The Oroborus Krewe" that specialized in charting asura gate coordinates, specifically into The Mists. Their last mission was going through the Ra asura gate under Rata Sum that was the last asura gate connected to the lost Rata. They connected, they went through, and they never came back. Coincidentally, this krewe also had Dessa's sister and we all know how that poor doomed family ended up stitched to the Mists.

As Hexx was just starting to explore the mist he ran into Kizzy (who was doing his own thing at the time), who at the time was trying to work himself out of a dimensional loop. Thanks to Mister "Mist String Theory With Honors" over here, Hexx was able to anchor Kizzy back to reality. Before Kizzy could say goodbye, Hexx elected himself to be Kizzy's exploration partner, said the opportunity was too good to pass up, and made a point that Kizzy would be stuck in a temporal loop for eternity if it hadn't been for him so it was Destiny. Kizzy floated the idea offhanded that he was going to end up in a warband after all which Hexx quickly said "oh no, it's a krewe...well since it's so small maybe a warband...kreweband?" And thus the Rift Kreweband was born.

And the rest is history! They're currently trying to find a way to 100% get Kizzy stapled back to reality and not have him become a Mist Echo like Dessa and Arkk.

I am, quite possibly, the primary driving force keeping these cute lil eldritch lizards even remotely relevant. I cannot handle that right now.
