Como de costumbre, un poco de contexto. 🤭

En un mundo donde humanos y yokai han logrado coexistir mediante una tensa tregua, la tentativa paz se ve amenazada cuando una facción radical del bando de los humanos empieza a conspirar desde las sombras.

Con el objetivo de mantener la paz entre naciones, las tierras del Oeste asignan a su mejor agente yokai a infiltrarse en las tierras del Este, con la misión de mezclarse con los humanos y descubrir los planes de ésta facción radical.

Viéndose obligado a asumir la fachada de padre y esposo para alcanzar su objetivo, el agente asume el alias de Sesshomaru Taisho y adopta a una niña llamada Rin para, posteriormente, desposar a Kagome Higurashi, una joven de carácter fuerte pero amable.

Lo que Sesshomaru ignora es que, tanto Rin con Kagome guardan sus propios secretos y que ninguna es lo que aparenta.

Can I get your opinion on Inuyasha series?

it's a wonderful series! one of my earlier fav series alongside digimon, pokeani, and HxH.

beautiful love story, OST, and setting.

some things about this blog:

i love NarKik, how awesome is it that the man who wishes to kill her, and actually have killed her, held also the dearest despicable desire to protect/keep-her-alive her? (or more like his desire has protected her...)

not into inukag vs inukik topic ( i ship both )

reincarnation concept is very close to me, as physical body is just a facade . so to me inukag is a successful representation of the love inukik once had, a prove that bond between two longing souls is eternal .

there was also no competition between kikyo and kagome. the choice was very obvious.

kikyo chose to travel alone, she didn't want inuyasha's love anymore, she wanted revenge on him(when she didn't know it was naraku all along) . kikyo knew she died and she count her days on earth only for revenge (stopping naraku). remember how she killed a monk once for interfering her plan and tried to kill inuyasha? well that ended once she knew it was naraku all along.

kikyo's tale is not of love but revenge.

and inuyasha actively chose to travel with Kagome.

Rumors spread based off how much interest it garners from any listeners, and this one in particular caught the interest of Demons across the land, and it’s even reached the ears of some humans, though many of them didn’t understand the true significance of the rumors.

From what the rumors had to say, the Inu no Taisho had returned, but there was something different about him. That said, his might was something that couldn’t be denied as other Demons have been slain by his hand. There was a chance that there was some truth behind the rumors if Kikyo’s constant revivals were any indication that the cycle of life and death could be distorted.

Leaving Jaken and A-un behind to watch over Rin in the human village, Sesshomaru had ventured to trace down the mysterious individual who claims to have relations with his Father. IF Toga had returned among the living, what was his purpose now? Did he aim to reclaim his title as general and lord of the west? Had he been in search of his family?

If it were so, he had no intention of locating Sesshomaru by the way he hadn’t shown himself yet. Following the word of mouth from Demons that have crossed paths with ‘Toga,’ Sesshomaru found himself deep in the woods, where sunlight could penetrate through the leaves when the angle was aligned just right. He hears some rustling nearby, but he makes no movement to address who was causing the noise.

The scent he picked up minutes prior told him all he needed to know.

       ❝Have you also come to investigate, Inuyasha?❞ 

Should their Father have returned from the dead, the hanyo could finally meet their Father face to face and maybe have a bonding moment. Sesshomaru could leave after having quenched his curiosity. Sesshomaru notes that he could only smell Inuyasha’s scent, so he came alone.

I am madly in love with Byronic heroes/anti-heroes. (Bonus points if they have silver/white hair.) My heart flutters the most at Vergil (DMC), but also Meier Link (Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust), Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader (SW), Erik (Phantom), and Vegeta (DBZ).

I love writing; I am working on a dark fantasy series with elements of horror and romance, and also a retelling of Phantom of the Opera in Taisho era, Japan. Sometimes I dabble in fic, but not often.

Hi, sorry for the inconvenience, but I saw the post about the cosplay and I wanted to ask why is it offensive? Ofc, I have 0 clue of it's origins, but it got me curious as to why someone would get offended by it. Hihi! Senbonzakura Rin's eyepatch has the imagery of the Japanese Rising Sun. This was the flag Imperial Japan used; a time when Japan terrorised and conquered many Asian countries and tortured the people. It was a very horrific time and many people still have traumatic memories of that time. As such, imagery of the flag is considered offensive. Rin's eyepatch actually has a heart but I still think it's offensive because the imagery still is attributed to the Imperial Japan flag.

As for the clothing, I'm not sure. I think it's because she's wearing Taisho Era clothes that during that era, Japan was still in it's Taisho Era but my argument is that in that case, you might as well not be allowed to wear any olden Japanese clothes since these Taisho Era clothes are the clothes typical Japanese women wore. Besides, the Taisho Era happened before Japan went onto its mass conquering of nations so I don't think the clothes minus the eyepatch is offensive.

#i actually came from a nation that was conquered by imperial japan back then #but i didn't really feel the impact from it nor do i have alive family who can tell me tales of that time #so i feel like my stance on it is a bit blurry #but then again ive seen americans talk about this and act as if they know more about it than me #like personally i believe my opinion holds more bar because i was educated on the horrors of that time and my nation was literally involved #but yeah thats my take on it. i feel like i still need to do more research on it bc i still am unsure if miku's cos is okay #but i feel like rin's cos is fine #ivyanswers

LOL Moose Murder is gonna be so good. Not sure if I'm going to make it a regular multi-chapter or interconnected drabbles - told from Hojo's POV. I think that could make for a humorous take. But I do like the regular multi-chapter idea, too. So we'll see!

Dancing on Broken Glass - Dancing is a way of life for Kagome Higurashi, but a car wreck that proved to be almost fatal tore all of her dreams away. With her sister dead and her legs useless, she struggles to hang onto hope. Then in walks Inuyasha Taisho, her physical therapist, and he shows her that life is still worth fighting for.

Hunted - When the existence of demons is revealed and sends the world into a civil war, a man with an unknown origin attempts to steer the chaos in a self-serving direction. Inuyasha, a creature of both sides of the conflict, finds himself among a few revolutionists who desire to put an end to the mayhem. Humans and demons alike are set on hunting down and killing all those who oppose their views, dwindling their numbers. That is, until Kagome Higurashi stumbles into the crosshairs, igniting the beginning of what would be the greatest fight of their lives.

Psychic Artist - While perusing social media, Kagome finds an ad for a person claiming they can draw anyone's soulmate down to the finite details. Nearing her 28th birthday and only her cat, Buyo, to keep her company, Kagome decides on a whim to order one of them, sure its a scam but figuring she had nothing to lose. 24hrs later, she receives an email with the drawing attached. She could say for certain she had never met the man in the black-and-white picture, but tapes it to the back of her bedroom door. If anything, it would give her hope that someone was out there for her, even if it wasn't the man in the drawing. But things change when she bumps into an ill-mannered man on the subway who has a very familiar set of dog ears.

Paper Smiles - During Kagome's 3 year absence, Inuyasha struggles to find meaning to push him forward each day. He goes through the motions of demon exterminations and village work without so much as a second thought. But after Rin comes to live with Kaede, he begins to understand how she had managed to warm his brother's frigid heart. "Inuyasha, what does falling in love feel like?" A story of found family between a half-demon and a young girl, told in drabbles.
