#Rin and her family all deserve to live happily ever after together

Saint.
Yn's death scene broke my heart. I'm ngl, I didn't cry bc I'm already used to saint level angst but the fact that she just wanted rin to believe her and the way rin was screaming ugh, it's just so tragic that he finally had a wife who he truly loves and it ends this way 💔 for my peace of mind, I'm imagining them living their best life in heaven and having the happy family that they weren't able to start 😭
And rin was so smart for choosing to torture hera and c'ian instead of killing them, he definitely knew how much it would affect them to witness his death. Also, on that note of c'ian and hera being kept in the dungeon, what has happened to demie? Is she staying with the empress or being looked after by someone else?
Also, when 'samu and the knights kneeled in respect for rin and yn, it's kinda sad that she was finally shown some sort of respect by the people of Faren and she wasn't even alive to witness it. I feel like if she didn't eat the berries and rin saved her, everyone would've been able to see that she's not who they thought she was and would definitely have some respect/love for her 😭
This play was so beautifully written Saint. I really do appreciate you taking the time to write this masterpiece bc I can imagine that writing in that language and in a format that doesn't allow for a lot of description, is difficult. Thank you saint, you broke my heart once again and I love you for it. 😂💘
this is just a 6 on saint level angst sdjsjs and yeah there’s no other way to put it — suna knows that his death would be traumatizing to hera and ci’an. the answer to demie is on a previous ask :)
thank u for reading tho 🥺 it was definitely hard since i’m so used to descriptive writing but i’m happy to know that you liked it <3

what’s totally crazy about the ending is that if the MC had only held out for like 5 minutes, she and rin could’ve been alive together ☹️. i am happy that they get to be together in the afterlife tho. i think it’s kind of a morbidly funny trend in tragedies that if they had just a tiny bit more streets smarts, most of their problems could’ve been solved in like a week. anywho this was a great story, and i think you deserve all the flowers for writing in such a difficult style, and still being able to convey such intense emotions. you truly are amazing at what you do, and i’m very grateful to be a reader!
omg yea ik what u mean !! HAHA when i read r+j for the first time, i got sooo upset like why can’t they wait just a few more mins dammit 😭 and thank u very much for ur sweet words anon <33 i appreciate it sm :’)

oh my god saint that was so good?? it would be wonderful if it was an actual play! you should really make some of your stories actual books people would love them
WAAAAH thank u!! that makes me happy :’) i’m actually glad i turned this old play of mine into a fanfic. i didn’t think anyone would appreciate but yay <33 when i submitted this for my class before, my professor said we can’t have it on stage bc it was too dark gahahaj

“Keep this image with you forever as I reunite with my true love, far away from the spiteful ladies of this household.”
i read the tags for olal but i thought it was just gonna be yn unaliving herself, but when i came to that line i was shook
was rin able to reunite with yn in the afterlife at least where they’re both finally at peace together

I was hoping for Hera and c'ian to die but I guess it was too good to be true 😭 but at least now rin and mc can be happy and free in the afterlife

momiji is the best, most kindest boy. he bears no ill will towards anyone, even the ones who have wronged him. he’s never bitter or pessimistic. he’s a lot like tohru in that he puts everyone else’s feelings before himself.
he agreed to have hatori get rid of his mothers memories of him for the sake of her mental health and well being (which i hate momiji’s mom for that but anyways) and he isn’t even the slightest bit resentful towards hatori or his mother for it.
then he sees momo living the happy family life he was supposed to have and isn’t resentful towards her either, and actually wants her to be a part of his life and wants to get to know her.
during the beach house arc he is the only one who stood between akito and tohru. we know how strong the bond of the curse is between the zodiacs and the god. in the last episode, even after all that akito did to rin, haru was still ready to turn around and go back after he stormed off. hatori didn’t blame akito for losing the love of his life and making him blind in one eye and has stayed directly by her side. but even with this, momiji defied akito and tried to protect tohru knowing it probably would have bad consequences for him.
and then, he has feelings for tohru, but he has known since day one that tohru and kyo would be good for each other, and has tried to push them together, and so he puts his feelings aside and tries to make kyo fight for her. in season one he tells her that kyo should come pick her up from work instead of yuki and he jokes about kyo having heart eyes for tohru. and then obviously in this most recent episode he’s basically like ‘hey kyo don’t fuck this up’.
after all of this, i think momiji got a very bittersweet ending, whereas a lot of the other characters got their happily ever after. there is something sweet about his ending representing being hopeful for the future even when things don’t go the way we had hoped and that a lot of times, life can be bittersweet. but i think out of everyone, he deserved one of the happiest endings, and i wish we could have seen something that hinted toward him getting it. like even if it showed him spending time with momo or playing the violin for a crowd like he wanted or finding a new person to love.

furuba but it’s kimi instead of tohru :))
- so those of you who have read my one furuba fic (hey read my furuba fic) know that i kinda have some hcs for kimi’s family life? summarized: bio mom left when she was a kid bc her dad was cheating; she has a step mom, dad still cheats and the step mom knows about it but is okay with it as long as the dad tells her she’s his favorite; step mom and kimi have this passive aggressive relationship where they’re both trying to prove they’re the dad’s favorite, meanwhile dad’s a gaslighting piece of crap. anyway in this au, step mom and kimi get into a fight and step mom tries to kick her out, which only works bc kimi got fed up and decided to leave anyway (dad wasn’t around at the time, or he would’ve tried to calm things down prolly). kimi stubbornly ends up living in a tent bc she’s way too proud to ask anyone for help (and she doesn’t have many friends), shigure and yuki find her, etc etc etc
- tohru DOES exist, but her grandfather’s health issues aren’t as severe, so she stays living with him in ignorance of the sohma family curse. the whole drama w kyo and kyoko and everything still happened with her, and the kyoru is like kind of a side story happening in the background (with some shenanigans about whether or not tohru found out about the curse somehow maybe) but it’s KIMI TIME in this au
- i feel like it’s really important to mention that kimi’s first instinct, when shigure yuki and kyo turned into animals in front of her for the first time, was to whip out her phone and vague tweet ‘sohma yuki is a RAT!!!!’ she gets sworn to secrecy by the sohmas right after, but the talk of the school the next day is ‘what the hell did the prince do to get called out by kimi???’ she gets ‘harassed’ by the prince yuki club about ‘besmirching the prince’s good name,’ which obviously turns into kimi harassing the prince yuki club right back (i imagine she plays the whole thing off as a ‘lovers’ momentary spat,’ from which they ‘worked out and made up very quickly and enthusiastically o3-’)
- kimi still isn’t in yuki and kyo’s class! she’s also much, MUCH more difficult for either of them to deal with, and weirdly, yuki and kyo sort of.... end up spending a lot more time together than they do in canon? they kind of come to a truce of ‘kimi and shigure are way too difficult to deal with,’ at least at home, and they don’t have a tohru buffer to lean on this time. kimi has like. next to no interest in yuki or kyo, so honestly their relationships dont develop that much. HOWEVER, when she meets kagura and the prince yuki club (and any time she interacts with them), she tends to hang ALL OVER kyo or yuki with the specific intent of pissing off the girls, because she really likes to start shit like that
- kimi’s a business oriented girl. she wants SHIGURE to be her SUGAR DADDY. shigure joked along with her flirting at first, but quickly realized that she might actually be serious, so now he’s kind of afraid of her??? in that, he avoids being caught alone in a room with her and will occasionally beg kyo or yuki to help him (they never do--shigure deserves the harassment).
- kyo and yuki don’t have a big three dynamic with kimi the way they do in canon with tohru. you know who are the other two to kimi’s big three??? MOMIJI AND HARU. momiji is DELIGHTED by kimi, and the two of them co-conspire often in all sorts of things. they plan family trips, prank other sohmas, and gossip like NOBODIES business. kimi and haru, on the other hand, both have a certain ‘unstoppable chaotic force’ energy, and they get along quite well too. the three of them being so close helps a lot with filling in the gaps where kimi doesn’t quite fit the shoes of being a kind, loving heroine like tohru; kimi has the force of personality to point out when the sohmas and their family situations are being ridiculous, and momiji and haru are kind and loving enough to provide comfort and support to a lot of the family.
- yuki at whatever point in the story: i think... i should accept the offer to be the student council president. it’d be good for my character development and self confidence and whatever. / kimi from the next room over: YUN! omg we can spend so much more time together now! takei asked me to join the student council as a secretary JUST this morning :))
- kimi and kakeru are friends at the beginning of the story! kimi has a crush on him and he’s a) oblivious and a dick about it and b) gay (my au my rules it’s fuckin endgame yukeru in this bitch. komaki is his beard and she’s fully aware of that lahfkdsjflkdshfksdjflkds). kimi HATES that she has a crush on this wimpy eboy and and it’s a point of tension between them :)) especially once yukeru endgame starts being more and more obvious
- at the beginning of the story, kimi...... doesnt take momiji seriously as a potential romantic partner. big big part of her arc is recognizing that the tall, traditionally attractive boys arent always the best romantic options, though, and she does eventually start to fall for him :)) and THEN he grows like eight inches in a month and she starts calling him an investment lahfkdsjfksdhjfdshfksjlkfsjl
- the beach akito/kimi/momiji confrontation is CHARGED because MOMIJI is there and he’s in DANGER and kimi gets fuckin PISSED because that’s HER friend, her boy, her ONE. akito talks shit and kimi talks fuckin shit back and they get in a full on catfight. they’re screaming at each other, clawing at each other. kureno has to physically pull akito away; kimi only doesnt chase after them because momiji is hurt. this is a major moment in kimi’s slow realization of her feelings for momiji :))
- kimi and rin, once rin makes up with haru and is able to relax a little, become a seething, curse fighting TEAM. on the other hand..... the argument of ‘the curse WILL break, eventually’ ends up working on kimi, even though she feels strange about it. she cares about kyo, to an extent, but it’s a lot easier for her to give up on him than it was for tohru in canon, for obvious reasons.
- when his curse breaks, momiji has someone to tell :,))
- tohru visits shigure’s house one morning to tell kyo about her feelings. akito stabs kureno, runs to shigure’s house, and has a conversation with tohru (who she has never met before lahfdlsfjdskfjdfksl) screaming about ‘oh are you some bitch here to confess to kyo?? guess fuckin WHAT he belongs to me, to us, he’s getting locked up in the spring, fuck you’ but uhh tohru has had a lot of offscreen development and whatnot and she ends up getting thru to akki. and then she falls off a fuckin cliff lhfkdsjfkdsjflksjfdlks you know how the story goes. anyway kimi had spent the night at momiji’s house and comes back to the WEIRDEST mood layfldskdsjfieuwfjkdskhggkdasjflkdsjlkjflkds
- oh and for good measure: uo goes to college instead of following kureno, akki and shigure get couple therapy. yukeru are gay, momiji and kimi live happily ever after. the end :))

hi!! i’m deathly curious: what are your predictions for nezha and rin in tbg, especially with the excerpts on kuang’s twitter?? i can’t see rin surviving, or nezha for that matter, but history dictates that the communist party wins the civil war. then again, kuang’s taken this series as a chance to question what could/might have been. this is besides the point, but it’s so sad to remember that scene of rinzha on the roof and know that’s probably the last loving scene we’ll ever see btwn them :(
rin and nezha have one of the most interesting dynamics i have ever met in a book. When they work together they’re a force of nature, and you can see that they truly care about each other. but there’s one big problem: they were made to be each other’s opposite. from their social standing, to their powers, to their behaviours and their believes, they stand on the opposite ends of a scale, so they will never fully agree, or stay together for more than getting to one goal they may have in common. it’s such a tragic thing, and it breaks my heart to think about it, but it’s the truth: their backgrounds and their ideals can’t be taken aside. I like to think that in an universe where those thing do not matter, and they were born on equal grounds, they would have been truly unstoppable together.
This is why I strongly believe both rin and nezha will die. There’s no way they will survive. I love them, but they’ll die for sure.
for nezha i think it’s most likely that he’ll die before rin, and i believe there’s two paths he can take: either he’ll stay by his family’s side, and die regretting it, or he’ll rebel from his father’s ideas and go back to rin and the others, even though i have got this feeling that if he does so he’ll die right after in some kind of battle scene. I also want to remember that there’s a chance that if nezha leaves his father’s side, he may not go to rin’s. This is a three-sided game and, incredibly, his ideals are democratic compared to rin’s, so he may not choose to go back to her. so maybe he’ll even ally himself with the empress (yeah it may sounds improbable but i think it’s important to remember this anyway).
for rin...well, she’ll definitely die at the end, that’s basically sure. i think that after she dies her legacy will be kept by kitay and their allies (yes kitay will 100% survive, along with venka because we all know that a meteor could fall on her and she’d still crawl from under it saying “i lived, bitch”). Maybe we can even hope that kitay will use that good brain of his and maybe rule less radically and brutally than rin. I have a strong feeling that rin will die at the end of the final big battle. I don’t think she’ll burn up (like altan did) because i think she has surpassed that phase now. So i think that she’ll simply die because of a wound, after her side has won. maybe she’ll even see that all her enemies are defeited, smile one last time, then die (lol i swear i imagine it like that).
I think, though, that we shouldn’t take out the possibility that she will be killed by any other means. A conspiracy may still take place (maybe even organized by someone close to her).
Anyways, I believe that the final will definitely satisfy us and will definitely not be a “happily ever after” one, this series is too full of moral-greyness to deserve one. i also know that even if it will represent everything that happened in real history and rin will truly become a dictator, it won’t be painted through a positive filter, it will make you understand that even if the main characters won it doesn’t mean it’s a happy ending.

Will this be a rant? Of sorts, maybe.
It seems now there is another discourse in VK fandom, this time about whether Ren and Ai will be a romantic couple or not. Firstly, Hino is drawing them in a suggestive way, that’s true.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do I care if they end up together or not? Not really. She has drawn Kaname and Zero in a suggestive way many times, hell, even in recent covers Zero is literally all over Kaname. Not to mention Zero/Kaname has way more fanfictions and incredible fanarts than either of the canon straight couples. It’s true, just check it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Think what you want, above illustration is pure Zero/Kaname and Yume.
And, in the below one, Zero’s hand...Sorry, two rivals and enemies just don’t do that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Look at the above illustration, that’s not how two guys stand if they are enemies, they just don’t.
Secondly, both Ai and Ren have an intense need of another’s blood. Now, many people say their relationship is creepy…
Sorry, but many shoujo mangas and mainstream novels have the same crap. The girl is obsessed with the boy and also ends up with him. Yikes. Gross.
And, those stories are celebrated. So, why be against these two? Oh, wait, it’s because they are not hetero.
Hino is not doing anything great even if they do come out as a couple, Clamp has done it many times and Clamp works are way more popular than Hino’s can ever be.
X, a shoujo genre manga has Kamui and Fuuma.
They loved each other, don’t even try to argue with me about it.
Seishirou and Subaru, the most tragic couple of manga and anime are also in it. CCS has Yue with Clow Reed, Yukito/Yue and Touya, Sakura and Tomoyo, some of these feelings are one sided, but none of them are hated.
These couples are way more popular than whole VK manga. Rg Veda, another shoujo has Amaterasu and Souma, Taishakuten and Ashura-ou, Yasha and Ashura can also be interpreted as an M/M couple. Oh, wait. That’s canon. They are together in Tsubasa.
And, don’t get me started on Fai and Kurogane. There you go people, these are shonen and shoujo mangas which have same sex couples.
And, the readers know there was something going on between Fai and Kurogane even if it’s not stated explicitly.
Clamp literally said,”do not call Fuuma and Kamui brothers”. They are soulmates. They don’t even mention the obsessed fangirl, kotori.
Arina Tanemura, whose stories are a perfect example of a  fangirl ending with the guy they were after, also has a single M/M couple in one of her works. Mostly in her stories, the main girl likes one guy, but in the end, that guy never ends up with her. He ends up with one of the obsessed fangirls.
Am I still bitter about how dirty the mangaka did Itsuki Otomiya? Yes. The sweetheart doesn’t even know Haine was his daughter, and the whole bloody cast had coloured illustrations, a freaking artbook is there for the series, but not a single illustration for him. Yikes.
I hope she redeems herself and makes Tokita and Chikage a couple in 31 Ai dreams. The only series of hers which didn’t have this cliché was Sakurahime Kaden and Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne.
And, let’s be honest, Eiichi would have have ended up with another fangirl if he wasn’t dead in Full moon. Thank god he was spared that bullshit. But, then again, he dies. That’s not good either.
Gentleman’s alliance cross, Nekota are just bad. Yes, the art is beautiful, but that doesn’t mean the males of her series deserved to end up with obsessive fangirls.
The one with underage relationship, Nekota or whatever [thank god that was never picked up by Viz.] In this, the blue haired dude, Serizawa, who the main girl liked from the beginning didn’t end up with her, he ended up with a fangirl. Ugh.
And, it is incestuous, the girl has feelings for her underage cousin.  Right.
Her art is beautiful, but damn it, her stories are so annoying.
For her only M/M couple in shinshi doumei cross, she had to make one half of the MM couple a cross dresser.
The guy, Maora was wearing woman’s clothing every time he and Maguri were shown together. He was never once shown as his real, tall self with Maguri.
And, she has said she isn’t comfortable with yaoi, but is okay with shonen ai.
Right.
But the point is, it’s been done many times.
In Hana Kimi, one of the protagonist’s elder brother is gay. He was the school’s physician if I am not wrong. So, Hino is not doing anything new.
Kyou Kara Maou is a shoujo manga, but it has Wulfrum and Yuri, two guys as a main couple. Granted, nothing happens, but they are engaged.
The manga was published in Asuka, a shoujo magazine.
Same goes for uraboku, Luka loves Yuki, regardless of the fact whether he is a female or a male. Senshirou and Kuroto were together, Hotsuma and Shusei were married in previous lives and they were very much together in the present as well.
Tumblr media
Do I think Ren and Ai will end up together, I dunno. Maybe they will, maybe they won’t. But I don’t think she will show them as a couple. If she will, fine. If she doesn’t, then also fine. They have an intense desire to be with each other, and their relationship is not parallel to Kaname and Yuuki’s or Haruka and Juri’s.
One can say they are like Rido, Yuuki’s uncle, not like the above two couples.
There are many differences between them and the two couples.
And, let’s not forget the harem Sara created, in fact she even kissed one of the girls.
Do I care about Ren and Ai ? No.
My sole reason for reading this manga is: Yume. Just bring Yuuki back and show Yume happily ever after. I really don’t care who ends up with whom.
But some reasons regarding Renai are hypocritical. This manga has incest, why are you being bothered by it now? Hell, she drew Ichiru and Zero in suggestive way too, and Zero’s care for Ichiru could also be questioned in that case.
Tumblr media
I am not sure if the above is Zero and Ichiru or Zero with another personality of his, I don’t want to see my artbook right now, but it can be seen as Zero and Ichiru.
Tumblr media
We don’t like yuri and yaoi.
Well, in that case I really hope it happens so it’ll tick off the people who make this statement. Yes, it’s a derogatory statement.
If the mangaka wants to do it, she can, it’s her choice. Hate her for it, plenty do. Zekis and yumes do for their reasons. I dislike the way she does things too, I hate many things she has done. But, hey she still did them.
Read Yona of the dawn in that case, that’s the only series which isn’t “problematic”
But,  Kija and Jaeha can be shipped in that too. I do ship them. And, the author has drawn shonen ai doujinshi’s.
And, Yona was in love with Su-won in the beginning, who is her cousin. Incest is incest, whether it’s between siblings or cousins, they are family.
I really don’t think Hino will show Ren and Ai as a couple. Siblings who are weirdly close, yes. Romantic couple, I don’t think so. If I am wrong, fine.
Just give me my Yume happy ending, and Takuma and Seiren scenes. I literally don’t care about the kids relationship. I just don’t. First, I had to suffer through that traitor’s crap with the stupid bint, Sayori, now this.
Edit :  Finally I read this chapter…
I don’t understand how anyone can even compare whatever crap that is going on between Ai and Ren to Yume and Haruka / Juri. The Kuran couples never looked so fucking weird with each other.
I was absolutely right in thinking their feelings for each other are reminiscent of what Rido felt. Just because Ai is Yume’s daughter doesn’t mean she’s a perfect character. Give me a break. Then again she had a crush on Zero as well.
And, she was raised among people like Ruka and Aidou, traitors and obsessed idiots. It’s no wonder she turned out idiotic.
She looks weird when she says, “she had her sister with her” to Youko.
I am not going to post the image cause its just bad.
Yume and Haruka/Juri were never so fucking creepy. Never.
Ren is just so bland and sad in everything that I don’t know what to think. Youko was the only one who wasn’t weird in this Ch.
The author should just wrap this up, it’s neither interesting nor is evoking any feelings in readers. It’s as bad Sayori/Aidou crap. Just stop with the useless story arcs, show Kaname and Yuuki together and end this shit.
I really don’t think the two girls will end up together. Their scenes aren’t sweet, and if she wants to show them, just do it and move on. They are both boring and least interesting. They are so bad it will not matter whether are together or apart.
They are as bad as other creepily obsessed M/F couples in novels and shoujo manga where the obsessed fangirl ends with the boy. This trope itself is gross. Who even cares about them?
They are only being hyped because they are two girls. When people thought Ren was a boy there wasn’t much reaction. I know there wasn’t. But now that they are two girls…
Hate them because they are stupid, no point in saying we don’t like them because its FF relationship. That’s just bigotry. Or maybe the author should be honest and say I wanted Zero and Kaname to fuck but Yuuki kept on getting in the way. So, I decided to pair their daughters together. because according to the author incest is fine in VK.  Just drop this crap already Hino.
I mean what the hell is up with this boring arc ?
I don’t even understand why stupid shit like this is overlooked in MF couples but if same happens in same sex, everyone is like, looks its unhealthy.  Incest, age difference, obsessed idiots/ fangirls, they are all bad.
I love Clamp, but that Rika and Terada thing was just plain gross. Same goes for Rin and Sesshoumaru.
I kept on telling myself about the latter one, no they are a parent child relationship. But at one point, I had to accept it was anything but family love. I love Sesshoumaru and always will. But I can’t get behind Rin/Sessh or whatever nonsense it was. Sessrin is celebrated, it’s a fact. It’s creepy, don’t deny it.
I know some of their artists and Sesskag [yuck] kept on leaving rude comments on SessKik fanworks, my favourite ship.
And Terada/Rika thing is overlooked because, let’s be honest CCS is fucking awesome. I overlook it and concentrate on yue yukito/ touya, syaoran/sakura.
I just want this RenAi thing to go away. I can’t stand either of them. Just show Kaname and Yuuki together and end this series. Hino should wrap it up and start a new one. VK will not gain the popularity it had at one point no matter what. The author is just coming off as desperate.

Obi-Wan for 9, 13, and 14/Ahsoka for 1 and 18/Dooku for 2 and 4/(and, just because I think I'm hilarious) Hondo for 15
Prepare yourself, friend :)
Tumblr media
OBI-WAN KENOBI
9) GENERAL PHYSICAL CONTACT
It’s not that he is averse to physical contact, but Obi-wan is sometimes at a loss as to how to handle it. Even as a Padawan, it mystified him to some degree, the way Bant or Garen would just casually sling an arm around his shoulder, or grab him in a tight embrace. He was always grateful for the gestures, and a part inside him warmed at the expression of friendship. Still, Obi-wan always tensed ever so slightly in those situations, something that had caught the attention of a young Quinlan Vos, who had made it (for a brief time) his life’s mission to get Obi-wan to, in his words, “chill out.”
Qui-gon, at first, had kept a safe distance from him, only initiating physical contact if it related to his training with a lightsaber, or hand-to-hand combat. But as the relationship thawed, Obi-wan was allowed a glance into the man Qui-gon had been - he was rather certain that at another point in time, Qui-gon had been as open and generous with this expressions of touch as Bant, or even Quin. Now, however, Qui-gon would place his large, heavy hands on Obi-wan’s shoulders, a restrained, but solid way of expressing his pride, his approval of his Padawan.
Of course, when Obi-wan had been ill, or injured, Qui-gon had immediately come to his side, wrapping his large frame around Obi-wan. Obi-wan remembered bits and pieces of this, of how nice it was to feel safe.
He often wondered if Qui-gon had felt that way in his final moments, their positions reversed, Obi-wan holding his mentor in his arms as the life drained out of him.
13) NICKNAME
He was never sure of how he ended up with so many monikers. To himself, he was merely Obi-wan Kenobi, Jedi Master and High Council member. Did his name have too many syllables? He didn’t think so, but there was no accounting for linguistic laziness. As his status within the Order had risen, however, as he became a General and Council member, the nicknames had faded. In fact, the alternate name he had now was just as long as his real name - “The Negotiator.” Obi-wan sighed. He didn’t know what holo-news writer had come up with that particular title, but he would be almost willing to disavow his Jedi ideals in order to see it permanently deleted from the Holonet. (Especially since Grievous had taken to taunting him with the name seemingly every time they fought.)
No, his old nicknames, “Obi” and “Ben” - had long fallen to memory, with the exception of one...person. Even Anakin, who was as close to him as anyone, would only ever call him “Obi-wan” or “Master.” Perhaps it was better this way - to leave the past in the past, to not dredge up old memories, old wounds with forgotten names. “Obi-wan” or even “Kenobi” would do just fine.
14) DANCING
The first time Anakin had seen him dance, Obi-wan was certain that the young man would pass out from shock.
This was before the war, when they were still sent on diplomatic missions, rather than the nonstop violence and blood of their current assignments. It had been a Ifestival, on the planet of Rinen, a place renown for its high art, exquisite cuisine, and tempestuous relationship with the more downtrodden mining planet of Mantar, just across the way. Still, the two governments had been able to work out an equitable agreement, a sharing of resources - physical and cultural - in no small part due to the Jedi’s diplomatic efforts.
And so there had been a celebration, one that combined the Rin and Mantan traditions. Both cultures, they discovered, had a love and reverence for dance.
The two governments had requested that a member of the diplomatic delegation be a part of the opening dance, a trio that represented the joining of two cultures with the help of a bridge. Of course, that delegation had consisted of only Anakin and himself, and seeing how his young Padawan’s eyes had gone wide in fear at the question, Obi-wan was happy to step in and offer his services.
An hour later, he had emerged in the grand ballroom, now dressed in fine tunics of deep navy and brown, a nod to both planetary systems. Dancing, for him, was only another form of kata. Perhaps more complicated, less practical, but in the end, the same ideas applied. And seeing how Obi-wan was already becoming known for his unique and fluid Soresu, it should have been no surprise that dancing came naturally to the young Jedi.
No surprise to anyone but his young charge, whose mixture of disbelief and amusement rang over their Force-bond for the entire five minutes.

AHSOKA TANO
1) HOLIDAY
Ahsoka hadn’t grown up with the traditional Togruta holidays. She knew when they were on the calendar, of course, but she had been brought up in the Jedi Temple, apart from her culture, and only had vague impressions from her very young childhood. They had felt almost more like visions than memories.
And so Ahsoka happily celebrated the Coruscant holidays, the Jedi days of remembrance, giving her Togruta culture little thought.
That was, until the Zygerria mission.
Those had been…her people. And…she hadn’t quite belonged, she knew she was different, that she could never go back. But suddenly Ahsoka wanted to know more, wanted to delve into those fragile memories of her time before the Jedi Temple. Luckily, Governor Roshti had chosen to convalesce on Coruscant for a week before returning to Kiros. And although he was a bit reticent to speak with Master Kenobi (and had it been her imagination, or had the older Jedi’s Force prescence turned startlingly opaque at that conversation?), he was happy to speak with Ahsoka about their shared heritage.
The timing had been perfect. A few days after the delegation from Kiros had returned to their home planet, Ahsoka had invited Skyguy and Master Kenobi to a small celebration in their shared quarters. She was nervous - uncertain if she was doing it right, cooking the right food, using the right decorations. And how would her Master and Grandmaster react?
But the time had come as Skyguy and Obi-wan came inside. It was ridiculous to be nervous, really. The three of them had shared many meals together - many terrible meals of ration bars - not to mention having fought on the front lines of a brutal war and -
This was different, though. This was…a way of giving of herself, of her identity outside the Jedi Order. She didn’t even know if that was allowed! Would Master Kenobi be disappointed, would he talk to the Council about this?
It was too late now, though, as the three of them sat down at the table, surveying the various small dishes. Ahsoka explained what each one was, its significance to the Togruta culture and the holiday.
“This is great, Snips! I didn’t know you could cook!” Skyguy exclaimed in-between bites, his mouth still full of food.
Obi-wan sighed and rolled his eyes. “Anakin. Please finish your food before extolling its virtues.” The older Jedi cocked an eyebrow at his grandpadawan. “No matter how well-deserved it may be.” He finished the admonition with a small smile.
Ahsoka felt her muscles relax, allowed herself to absorb all the inherent goodness of the room. She had made her culture her own, celebrated her holiday on her own terms - with her family.
18) FAVORITE POSSESSION
She loved her shoto. It was what made her different. Anakin fought with Djem-So, violent and aggressive. Obi-wan drew a curtain of defense around him with Soresu, answering every attack with a sarcastic comeback of his own. But neither used the shoto. Anakin was just not comfortable with dual-wielding, and Obi-wan, although extremely proficient with the jar’kai form, preferred to not utilize it for reasons he didn’t really explain. But her second lightsaber, it was just as part of her as her first, that small difference, the way she used the reverse grip - that was her, that was Ahsoka Tano. Force help the person who tried to take that away from her.

YAN DOOKU
2) COOKING
He had learned to cook, of course. It was mandatory for all of the young nobility on Serenno to learn how to cook. They would have servants for that type of labor in their real lives, but cooking was looked at like an art-form, and because of this, was bundled with their studies of music, astrology, and mathematics, all in preparation for the higher study of philosophy and culture.
He was grateful for the training after being taken by the Jedi Order. The cafeteria’s food was of a base standard (that is, if he were being generous with his description) and even from a young age, he had commandeered his Master’s kitchen in order to prepare more palatable food. Yoda had complained of this at first, admonishing the young Jedi that all must suffer equally, but after Dooku had presented his old Master with a delightful rendition of the rather odd culinary delights of his home planet, Yoda had dropped the issue.
4) DRIVING
Count Dooku gave the appearance of one who had never flown a starfighter. Indeed, on many, if not most, of his missions, he had ordered a droid to pilot his ship.
At least, that was the way it looked. Few would have noticed that the droid pilots were not operating according to their carefully planned algorithms, that they were contradicting their programming at every turn.
For Count Dooku had found a way to program a biological implant in his pilot droids, one that was Force-receptive. He did not always utilize this, but it caused others to overlook his skills, to assume he was a pampered politician with no ability to fly a ship.
He would laugh at their assumptions when he sent them to their graves.

HONDO OHNAKA
15) SINGING
Hondo Ohnaka knew a great many drinking songs.
…well, at least the first verses of them.
In relation to this ask.

Disclaimer: As this is a work of fanfiction, I hold no claim to the characters that belong to their beloved and recognized creators. I am nothing more than a humble fanfiction writer.
Summary: A Bon and Kagome kind of story. Where they both like each other, but the secrets Kagome keeps may scare him away. And with her at the Academy things might go a little differently.
Pairing: Kagome/Bon, one-sided Mephisto/Kagome, suggestive Kagome/Rin, possessive/abusive/one-sided Sesshomaru/Kagome, and past Inuyasha/Kagome.
~Story Time~
A yellow glow poorly lit the room, while sunshine streamed in through the aged windowpane further brightening the darkly designed room. The tile on the floors were done in a chess-like fashion of black and dark crimson. Harsh gold decorated the fixtures of the room while deep forest green colored the wall with crimson accents. A large overused chalkboard sat at the front of the room just beyond the teacher's desk that rest on a raised platform. Throughout the room were pale wooden tables meant to seat two to three students at a time.
The room was empty of life besides a single student who currently was going over the days materials. Raven hair fell to frame a heart-shaped face that currently looked at the book in front of them in a bored scowl. Her youthful figure dressed in a girls uniform. The pale pink skirt fell to her mid-thigh while black socks came up just two inches below the skirt, covering the pristine white of her shirt was a cream colored blazer with pale pink lining the hem of the collar and sleeves while golden buttons held it closed. Finishing the outfit was a black girlish bow with thin red stripes that matched the emblem adorning her blazer identifying that she was a student of True-Cross Academy.
While she was a student at the infamous school, where she currently sat was in one of the many classrooms of the exorcist cram-school. The cram-school was an interesting place, full of interesting people who either were, or wanted to be, exorcists. Everyone had their reason to be here, Kagome was no different, although hers could be considered less than honorable. After all she had been consorting with demons, ones who desire the eradication of the Vatican order and currently were in the process of manipulating the order to their will.
Sapphire eyes sparkled with shades of amethyst streaking across her vision, the young miko had started at True-Cross Academy and it's special cram school a week after her journeys amongst the feudal era ended.
Her quest had ended within five years of her jumping back and forth through time. The jewel had been completed with the aid of her friends, their revenge satiated, and the world a better place without the evil half-demon Naraku. With her goodbyes in order Kagome had then been abruptly sent back to her birth-time, where she discovered no time had truly past. It was her fifteenth birthday, she thought herself insane, but there waiting for her at the shrine steps were the few friends that could survive the 500 years that separated them.
What she learned, in the years given back to her, was that time was a fickle being who's amusement came with a price, good or bad depending on who you ask.
Ginta and Hakkaku, and even Kouga, welcomed her in a rush, their arms engulfing her in a group hug while crying over their pack sister's return. Following them was Ayame, she hugged the younger woman with a soft greeting of welcome.
Next was Inuyasha, he grumbled at the wolf demons, saying they overreact before hugging her just as fiercely. Although his appearance was no longer that of silver hair and puppy-dog ears, those having been replaced by a facade of soft black hair so as to pass for human, he was still the same half-demon who had become her best friend and protector.
Shippo and Kirara than greeted her. The two-tail neko perching herself on the young woman's shoulder to nuzzle her cheek. Where as the now teen kitsune kissed her face and hugged her, all while “crying”. She giggled tearfully while he spouted about missing her, that he should have greeted her first as he loved her the most.
Then it was Sesshomaru, even with his demonic markings hidden, and silver mane now black as it fell to the nape of his neck, the daiyoukai was as intimidating as ever. Even so she hugged him at the waist, his clawed hand caressing her hair to show that their reunion meant just as much to him.
From there on she was welcomed back into the strange pack they created.
Sesshomaru insisted she attend True-Cross Academy, and her mother agreed thinking it was a type of scholarship- having no memories of Kagome's adventures. Only when in private did the daiyoukai tell her of the extra curricular classes she'd be joining. And that's how Kagome; the miko who transcended time, and embodied the Shikon no Tama, ended up at the academy as a spy.
Of course the school was splendid, most of the students belonging to richer families, so it made sense that the education she was receiving was immaculate and extensive. By the time she completed her studies, there wouldn't be a university that could deny her entrance.
The only problem she was finding with the cram school; their information on demons was biased, sometimes completely wrong, and focused only on the destruction of said demons. That no doubt steaming from the Vatican which controlled the school, their goal was to create hate for demons and destroy them. Little did the exorcists know that the demons they despised so much were already infiltrating their precious order. Demons were everywhere, in every rank, strong ones that looked, acted, almost felt human, if not for her abilities she would believe them to be too. From everything she'd witnessed it looked like the demons were effectively overtaking the Vatican and exorcist order.
Soon the world would be as it once was. Without the order, the demons could live as they once were; free. Kagome wouldn't have to hide her powers anymore, if the order found out they'd try and use her as a weapon. She was the embodiment of the jewel, housing the powers and abilities of both demons and mikos, and in this world controlled by the order she would never be safe. Only when the order was gone could she and all demons have the freedom to live as they were without consequence for simply existing.
Such thoughts of freedom and peace made her happy and hopeful for the future.
“Hey Kagome, what you smiling about?”
Turning Kagome looked up into the warm chestnut eyes of her closest friend at the academy: Ryuji “Bon” Suguro. Ryuji had a beautiful mind, and spirit, but one look at the delinquent-looking adelence would have anyone walking in the opposite direction. Several piercings marked his ears, while his brown hair was styled shaggily atop his head, a small amount of facial hair graced his chin and jaw. He looked like a punk, and perhaps he did it on purpose, but she could feel the gentle pulse of his soul and witnessed his absurd brilliance when they spoke.
She beamed happily at the taller boy. “I was just thinking about my family,” it wasn't exactly a lie. Kagome often thought of them, her demonic and human family, it was hard being without them but at least she had Kirara.
As if sensing her thoughts, the neko purred from her place on the girl's shoulder, gently butting her head against Kagome's jaw.
“Breaks about to start, and then we'll be starting high school,” he grinned, hand falling to scratch behind Kirara's ears, making the feline purr loudly in greeting.
They both had entered True-cross's cram-school about the same time, while he would be coming to the school as a high schooler. Because they were always in the same class it made sense that they became at least civil with one another but Kagome had been the one to change that to friendship. They were the others only friend while in school.
“You said your friends will be joining you this year,” even though she was happy for him, to be with his childhood friends, she feared that their friendship would fade because of it, they were only cram-school friends after all. Kagome had left behind her human friends, not wanting to pull them into her complicated life, which made him her only friend outside her pack.
He nodded. “Konekomaru Miwa and Renzo Shima, they've been my friends since I was little,”
She offered a small smile. “And they'll be joining the cram school?”
He smiled back. “Yeah, though I doubt they know what they want to be,” The boy was brilliant but had held off on much of his schooling so that the three would become exorcists together, he only went to the cram-school part-time leaving him as a temptaint-less page. So to him, Kirara was a cat, not a familiar, he couldn't see her demonic attributes.
She laughed nervously. “Unlike you Bon, I still haven't decided on what Meister I am going for,” her eyes going to the book in front of her. Today in class they would be going over the five Meister categories. There were several that she could do and that would come naturally to her (Doctor, Dragoon, Knight, and Tamer), but had yet to make a decision -probably need to talk to Sesshomaru- unlike Ryuji who was going for Aria and Dragoon.
“I'm sure it will come to you. Personally I think you'd make a good doctor. I swear you can heal people with a touch,” he praised, taking the seat next to her.
Kagome blushed, a nervous laugh escaping her. It only seemed that way because it was true. The young priestess technically had almost six years of training, five in the feudal era, and her miko powers gave her the ability to heal and purify with a literal touch to a person. “You give me too much praise,”
“Not at all,” without her notice, heat rose into his cheeks, giving them a pink hue. “You deserve it, and besides we'd make a good team no matter what you pick because I'll always have your back,"
Both teens were now blushing, even as they continued on as usual, completing their normal homework before going over their extracurricular schoolwork for the day.
Time passed quickly, and soon class was in session. It being the last class before break the teens were forced to say goodbye when it ended. Next time they saw the other they'd be in their first year of high school.
Turning away Bon went home while Kagome went to her private dorm, no one knew as Mephisto pulled some strings to do it upon Sesshomaru's request; so he and their pack could come and go as they please.
Arriving at her room, Kirara riding her shoulder, Kagome was surprised to find not only Sesshomaru but Mephisto. The first sat in her chair, regal even in such an everyday setting, while the other sat atop her desk with his legs crossed.
“Hello Kaggie-chan,” Mephisto greeted cheekily. Kagome growled lowly at the demon, a fang spilling over her bottom lip.
Before she could reprimand the Demon King of Time, Sesshomaru raised his hand, stopping the fight before it could begin. “Now is not the time for your bickering,”
“It's more like a lovers-quarrel,” Mephisto sighed dramatically, again Kagome growled.
“Enough,” raising his voice, Kagome froze while Mephisto wilted in his position taking on a pout.
“My apologies, what can I do for you, Sesshomaru?”
“You will be taking the exorcist exam,” Golden eyes narrowing. “Tonight,”
“What!? Why?”
This is where Mephisto piped up. “I'll be requiring you as an exorcist rather shortly, and it would make things much easier for me Kaggie-chan to have an exorcist I can trust. I'll be able to use you as a spy on top of already being a spy! A double spy!”
Her brow twitched, a hand coming to cradle her forehead already able to feel the beginnings of a migraine. “Please explain,”
“As an exorcist, you will have more privileges, and be trusted with high-security information,” a glimmer spread across his emerald eyes making her nervous at the maliciousness they held.
“And because I order you to,” Sesshomaru added, eyes hard showing she had no choice.
With a dejected sigh, Kagome nodded. “Can I at least have a real answer Mephisto? What's so important you could only trust me-" she made a quick gesture to herself and Sesshomaru "-us?”
Kagome shivered at the look in his eyes; it was dark and foreboding, inspiring deep feeling of dread within her stomach. She swallowed thickly at the coy but equally mischievous smirk twisting his face. For as much as she disliked the demon, this was the first time he had even inspired fear in her. “The son of Satan will need a friend and teacher,”
Her eyes grew to the size of saucers, her shoulders trembling. There wasn't a real satan, not in the biblical sense, right?
“You'll test as a doctor, and a Knight for the Exam,” Wide blue eyes narrowed, pulling herself from her shocked state. A fanged smirk challengingly her with gold eyes beaming mirthfully back at her. “That is if you remember your way around a sword,”
She smirked, eyes alit with matching mirth. Whatever the challenge she would face it head on to protect her family.

Note
hey, you mentioned kohaku being your favourite character ever! i'd be super curious to hear why (also, thoughts on rin tohsaka?)
That’s a kinda intimidating question because I really don’t write about Kohaku as much as I should. Just a heads-up, I might be misremembering things, as I haven’t read Tsukihime since 2014 and absolutely dread the thought of the revisiting Hisui’s ending precisely because I’m afraid of the idea me being misremembering Kohaku as someone better than she actually is.
Spoilers for both Tsukihime and Fate/stay Night.
Back when all the route girls were introduced, Kohaku quickly became my favorite for her great humor, the narration’s focus on her smile and by her avoiding all of the bad maid tropes. The last one of these was very reinforced by putting her in contrast with Hisui, who embodied all of them. Back at the time I still had no clue to how much I would like Kohaku, but quite sure she would be the best by the end (although Ciel really made me doubt that in her route), specially with some great jokes she had in Arcueid’s route (”Shiki-san, how can you do something so cruel to Akiha-sama? Next time you’re going to bring your lover home, please bring someone more normal!”).
Then comes Hisui’s route, where we slowly start getting hints of Kohaku’s past, with the reveal that she doesn’t feel pain, Shiki’s memories about the girl in the window and whatnot. This all leads to shocking reveal of the Fujou twin’s past, their assigned role as Makihisa’s Empath, how Kohaku took the responsibility all to herself in order to protect Hisui, how Kohaku learned to how make the magic drugs to stop feeling pain and how the twins “swapped faces”.
It was really heavy, tragic and character-defining defining, so I thought the best I would get was seeing this from Kohaku’s own perspective, specially since this was as far as Hisui’s character went, but oh boy, how wrong I was. Kohaku is much, much more than that.
Hisui route ends with the reveal that Kohaku masterminded the demise of the Toono family and her motives are pretty obvious but I never expect the way she felt about it. Kohaku describes herself as not as a human, but as Makihisa’s emotionless doll. Kohaku had to constantly intake pain-removing drugs in order to endure Makihisa’s (and latter SHIKI’s) abuse and this state of not feeling anything disconnected her from her emotions. Kohaku admits that, to some extent, she did all of this because it made her feel human a little.
What you would expect from this premise? Kohaku channelling her remnants of humanity into hatred for the Toono family and orchestrating her revenge. Was that what really was on her mind? Nope, Kohaku (and Kinoko himself, as Fate/Grand Order is a great evidence of) has a much more positive definition of what it means to be human. Kohaku expresses her humanity through fairness, empathy and a desire to make the situation better.
Even though, Makihisa singlehandedly completely ruined her life, she acknowledges that he didn’t do it out of sadism or perversion, he did because he really had no other choice in order to keep himself from inverting and causing even bigger harm to everyone. Kohaku sees Makihisa as much of a victim of this tragedy as herself. And this makes sense with her backstory in mind. After some point, she stopped feeling anything and she could see during her sessions was Makihisa’s pained expression of being forced to do that to a 9-years-old. SHIKI had it worse, having to wrestle for his will with his inversion, Roa and Kohaku’s drugs all at the same time. And then there’s Akiha. At some point, Akiha figured the entire plan out but still went along with everything Kohaku said because she honestly believed her family deserved Kohaku’s punishment for everything they did to Kohaku. Being Toono truly is suffering.
Despite everything they did to her, she insist couldn’t bring herself to hate them because she fully understood their circunstances and they respect her wishes of protecting Hisui. She never did what she did out of hatred, but as an attempt to make everyone happier. The Toono blood brought unavoidable tragedy not only to the Fujous, but also to themselves. The Fujous could never find happiness in contact with the Toonos and the Toonos themselves can never be happy. Therefore eliminating the Toonos was a course of action who would benefit everyone. Then the plan would end with Kohaku offing herself, leaving Shiki and Hisui to live happily together. It was all a perfectly rational decision for the sake of everyone involved.
That’s a much more deeply layered motive and that alone was enough to cement Kohaku’s first place in my character ranking. But the Kohaku ride is still not ever yet. Kohaku’s character is even more layered than all of that. I would never expect it to have even because all of that so perfectly convincing, but that’s exactly the point. The lie had to be perfectly convincing because the one Kohaku was decieving with it was herself.
The moment Shiki gave Kohaku her ribbon back was the moment was the moment she crumbled. Her bursting emotions crushed her mask of rationality. And, oh dear,  did that destroy my heart. There she is forced to admit that she always hated him. When she was young, she was just jealous of how Shiki was adopted to live a happy life with the siblings, but when he had to leave, Kohaku, fair as she is, decided to give him the ribbon as a parting gift so they can get along better if he ever comes back. Years later, after she had already forgot him, Shiki comes back and she grows to hate him again for much deeper reason. That is because Shiki is happy to be with Akiha and Shiki would be sad if she was gone. His presence contradicts her idea that “everyone will be better off with the Toonos dead” and is a constant reminder for her that she is lying to herself about being righteous instead of just investing in personal revenge.
Kohaku deeply empathizes with the Toonos suffering, the entire process of her revenge was deeply painful to her, specially the part concerning Akiha, who was kind enough to completely let Kohaku destroy her due to her own empathy with Kohaku. But despite all that, Kohaku was still able to push through due to her belief that what she was doing was right, but Shiki, by just unawarely being there, took that away from her. That’s why she made that bet with herself to stop everything she was doing if Shiki returned her ribbon. Then, when Shiki finally did it after everything was over, all that did that amplify Kohaku’s guilt and self-loathing even more, to the point she really couldn’t take it anymore. Kohaku’s tragedy really, really hurt.
I really can’t think of any scene that came even close to have the same levels of layered characterization and emotional impact as Hisui’s route’s ending. That hit me extremely hard.
After a while to recompose after thinking too much about Kohaku, let’s go the next subject: Rin Toosaka.
I really like her overall personality and her relationship with Shirou (both of them). I’m not a big fan of tsunderes, but I do believe it’s relatively easy to make them good and Toosaka is my go-to example of how. First of all, her tsun is expressed not by distasteful aggressiveness, but by elegant dry-witted snark, which replaces what I dislike about the archetype with something I like. The other part of what makes it great is the person she is tsun towards: Shirou (both of them). Pairing the tsundere with a nice or oblivious guy is real waste, but pairing her with someone who is just as tsundere towards makes for a really fun dynamic, always great to watch. It works wonders and I can really tell because my best irl friendship is exactly like that.
Another thing I like about her relationship with Shirou (the master) is how equal they feel. Saber feels above Shirou in their relationship because she is the ideal hero he aspires to be and Sakura feels below Shirou due to how emotionally dependant she is, but with Toosaka it feels like they are on the same level, growing each other together. I still prefer Shirou with Sakura though.
As for her character on her own, she is kinda underwhelming. As the most standard mage on Fate/stay Night, her motivations are the ones that the least personal and she is kinda out of focus even in her own route, where she completely loses the spotlight to Shirou (both of them).
But, like most of F/sN’s characters, she gets much better in Heaven’s Feel. With Sakura involved, her motivations get a lot more personal, she gets a great fight scene with the jewel sword and has by far her best scene at the end of it. After completely defeating Sakura, she raises her sword to finish her and just… stops there. After spending the entire route berating Shirou for being too soft to kill and letting his personal feelings get in the way of his responsibilities, she realizes she also can’t do it and admits with a pained smile that she has no right to criticize Shirou anymore. It was an excellent moment.
