Shao Kahn and his Family:

Shao Kahn: Creator of Edenia along with Raiden. Physically appears to be in his early 40s although his actual age is unknown as he was born before names had meanings and when numbers did not exist. Former lover of Raiden. Currently in a relationship with Jiaying. Has three children: Amira (with Raiden, currently estranged from her), Liu Kang (with Tanya), and Skarlet (with Jiaying). Former leader of the Shirai Ryu, currently an advisor to Edenia. Portrayed by: Daniel Henney

Jiaying: Near immortal Inhuman. Physically appears to be in her early 30s although her actual age is in the 400s (Note: when we see Jiaying in 1945, she appears to be in her 30s although we do not know when she became an Inhuman, I choose to believe that she has been an Inhuman for a very long time). Mother of both Daisy 'Skye' Johnson and Skarlet. Previously married to Dr. Calvin Johnson, currently in relationship with Shao Kahn. Formerly the leader of Lai Shi (Afterlife), currently a liaison between the Inhumans and Edenians. Portrayed by: Dichen Lachman

Tanya Soto: Genetic Outworlder. Mother of Liu Kang. Physically appears to be late 20s to early 30s, though her actual age is in the 120s. One-time lover of Shao Kahn. Former member of the Shirai Ryu and currently an ally of Outworld. Previously rival to the Okaia family (particularly Jade) however the two put aside their differences after Liu fell in love with Kitana Okaia-Morse. Portrayed by: Rochelle Okoye

Skarlet Johnson: Middle child of Shao Kahn, but oldest that he is close with. Controls blood magic. Physically in her late 20s but her actual age is in the 90s She is older than Liu Kang by 40 years. Married to James Rogers and has a daughter, Mia, with him. Although not related to Calvin Johnson, she uses his last name as neither Jiaying nor Shao truly has a last name. Portrayed by: CL

Liu Kang: Youngest child of Shao Kahn and only son. Has the ability to light his fists on fire and can turn into a dragon. Physically appears to be in his late 20s, although he is actually in his 50s. Liu is currently in a relationship with Kitana Okaia-Morse, who is about 30 years his junior. Liu will occasionally take on 'Johnson' as his last name and use 'Kang' as a middle name. Portrayed by: Ludi Lin (cast as Liu Kang before he was cast in the Mortal Kombat movie)

Just saw a vid of Iris sliding on the ground to see if cisco was ok (the ep where devoe abducts Barry) and it got me thinking, does Candice have a stunt & body double? I've never seen a picture of her stunt/body double like I have with the other cast members. I really hope she has one (and that the person is actually black) because that means she would've been doing extra work this whole time. idk if anyone here follows the Netflix show 'Shadow and Bone' but there was an issue with the brown (she's Nepalese) main cast member's stunt double. She's one of the main cast and they couldn't even be bothered to show her the same courtesy as everyone else. They got a white woman and painted her brown bc casting and production couldn't be bothered to look a tiny bit harder for a brown acrobat 🥴. Ever since that incident, I've been really weary about whether non-white actors are actually getting these doubles, and that if they are, these doubles are actually POC like the actors.

Candice’s body double is (we assume she still is) Rochelle Okoye. She also doubles for Meagan Tandy on Batwoman

As difficult as it is for African-American actresses to find work on genre TV, it's even tougher for black stuntwomen. "I have seen [black] actors that have [white] stunt doubles come in and sit in the hair-and-makeup chair and they would be painted brown," says Candice Patton, 30, who plays Iris West in The Flash on The CW. "But it's not enough to check a box and say, 'We have a gay superhero or a black superhero or a Latino superhero' — you can have diverse content, but you have to back it up by hiring diverse people behind the scenes as well."
