Alistair’s brother Roderick/Rodric (he doesn’t care which) is far more reclusive than Al. Currently working as Alston’s stable-master, he prefers the company of horses and hounds to other human beings. Granted, his appetite is half the problem - unlike Al, he did not make the decades-long effort to tame his own vampire impulses.

He largely feeds on wild animals at night, but those are only the meals he admits to having. No locals have gone missing yet, but besides that it’s unknown when he last attacked a person.

also not to be like “none of this would have happened if the Chateau d'Ombrage kids had been there” but none of the events of the second game would have happened if the Chateau d'Ombrage kids had been there.  This all could have been avoided if Melie were there to sniff out the Duke and Emilie’s bullshit from the start.
