What's her bond like with Grey Wind?

If things go accordingly (and if I don’t change things) she’ll know him since he’s a pup. So besides Robb, Grey Wind spends a lot of time with her. Basically he’s like a practice child for Robb and her.

Her favorite Stark family member (besides her lovely husband).

Arya. Like you mentioned before she’s a breath of fresh air for Maeve.

Her favorite song that had been sung in GOT.

Jenny Of Oldstones.

Her thoughts on what happened to Ned Stark.

A tragedy that she thought was unfair to have happen to an honorable man like him. And her heart breaks for his wife and children.

Her favorite subject when she had to learn new things.

The history of her house, learning about her ancestor *cough Tatiana cough* and all of Westeros.

How would her crown look like? Similar to Margaery's when she married Joffrey? With stag antlers and roses being intertwined (but in this case it's the wolf and the roses). Or more like Sansa's sleek crown?

I’d imagine her crown to be like this but a different color and obviously there would be wolves in-between the roses.

How do the common people perceive her?

Because how involved she is with charity work they come to love her. She’s a lot like Margaery but you get a sort of different feeling with Maeve. Margaery often liked talking about her charity work with people, almost like she was bragging about it in a way while Maeve is more humble about it.

Favorite pastime.

She likes to pass the time by riding her horse, doing archery, or reading.

What gift never fails to make her happy?

Food or books.

What's her love language?

Words of affirmation. But also a bit of physical touch.

Is she a better dancer or singer?

I’d say singer. I see her as the type to sing to her children.

Her favorite lie as a child and her favorite lie as an adult.

If you make a wish on the brightest star it’ll come true. Something her mother would tell her as a kid but eventually she found out it wasn't always true. The lie often brought her comfort though when on her own and staring at the night sky as an adult. Especially later on. For a brief moment she thinks things will be okay.

A good friend of hers outside her noble house.

At the beginning she’s sort of sheltered. Not necessary naive (she’s a Tyrell) but she doesn’t have “close friends” outside her house. That changes as the story goes on.

What does she value more: honesty or charity?

With all the lies that are often spread she values honesty.

Her favorite GOT historical figure (that she probably read about when taking up History).

She doesn’t think much of it until later on in her life and realizes that it was spot on when it came to her.

One thing that she taught herself.

She taught herself how to climbs trees.

Would she be a good advisor?

I’d say so. I see her as someone many come to for comfort/advice. Is she perfect? No but she does her best.

Place she always wanted to visit.

Funny enough she’d been curious about Winterfell before being betrothed to Robb because of how much snow the country gets.

Her thoughts on the White Walkers and the Night King?

Terrified of them. Rightfully so.

Her thoughts on R + L = J? Does she find out as Robb's wife? Or is it kept a secret from her?

Robb confides in her about. She’s shocked as expected but keeps the secret guarded.

A sentence that perfectly sums up Maeve.

Dude you could see the whole arranged marriage arc play in this set! They are very reluctant and quite angry, then playful flirting by finding common ground on the fact that they did not want it but hey could have been for ced to marry someone worse and. Then you see them on the military camp assessing things and they can feel that they are on sync and are quite similar. Things start heating, add more angst, “is it me you want or are you just playing into the marriage” kinda thing. In a political meeting that they will laugh about after because everyone is so dumb. And then we finish with a “I know you love me” “I do, I do love you” cue the *smirk* “I knew it”.

with the treacherous sounds eluding from outside of her tent, margaery tyrell could have sworn that a battle had broken out. horses whinnying ; the sounds of their hooves pummeling against the ground below them was almost terrifying. sirens and horns were sounded, the dire shouts of men booming throughout the campsite, the sheer panic that levitated within the air and spilled in through the private drapes of her own pavilion. quickly finding the fabrics to cloak herself, margaery wrapped a dress around her waist and allowed freshly dropped curls to pirouette over her spine ––– making her way out of the tent as her elbow was immediately grasped by a knight wearing her rose emblem. as he dragged her along, fear turning his tone into a trembling quiver, margaery fought for an answer as to what was going on. demands left her lips, commanding that as wife to the king, she needed to know. and that was when she heard the dreaded words. the king was dead.

freeing herself from his grasp, stumbling through the campsite with one motive within her mind. there was one thing that the young rose of highgarden knew within that moment and that was, that she needed to find robb. staggering across horses charging through the camp grounds as baratheon men fled from the scene, margaery collided with numerous people ––– collecting scrapes, bruises and bumps along her way until she found her body clashing against one that felt familiar to her. alarm attacked at her nervous system, waist contorting until she found herself within his arms amongst the mayhem, fingertips clutching desperately onto his chain mail. thin brows knitted themselves together, anguish crashing upon her features as she looked at him with a desperation, hues quickly torn away to whatever direction the painful grunt of a soldier had come from. “robb, i ... i don’t understand.” ocean pools that were stirring a storm looked down toward the armour he was wearing, a realisation dawning upon her that he was leaving. fingers tightened, the imprints of metal indenting within her fingers as she lightly shook her head, the men around frantically fleeing, paying no mind to the two stood in the midst of the wreckage. “they ... they said that renly was dead.”

a starter for ROBB STARK ( @blodistridi ).

the young wolf, they called him … and yet, that title did not live up to everything that he possessed. the oldest boy of late eddard stark held almost every attribute that his father had. there was a confidence that floated around his entire aura, like one hundred fireflies begging to ignite their tales and light him for the glory that he was. the way in which his tongue spoke, a northern symphony dancing off of each and every flicker it gave. his dark chocolate hues were unforgettable too and the way they basked over renly and her, as they sat upon a heighted stage in receiving him upon his arrival to the stormlands. most men refused to even turn their glance towards the rose, afraid of what the stag might have done had his wife being looked over by another man … but the truth was, renly did not care. and robb seemed to be unafraid of any consequences as kind hues of chestnut fell over her. hours had passed since they first met, since they had been surrounded by every man ( and woman ) sworn to protect renly baratheon. though there was something within margaery that compelled her to seek the young wolf. it was a drive, an IMPULSE that she could not shake and before she knew it, feet were carrying themselves through trenches as the signature blue of her dress became tainted by mud and greenery –– though she did not. all she knew, was that she had to find him and she would not stop until she did. it is for your king, the word played over in her head as though she NEEDED an excuse to go and search for robb. it was true –– encouraging any form of alliance would be good for their army and with two people holding the same objective in defeating the lannister’s. a delicate hand brushed against the silk of his tent walls, slowly but surely peering around the corner to check that she had not been intruding on anything and once she realised that the king in the north was sat at his table –– eyes glazed over scrolls and battlement pieces, the young rose allowed a smile to curve to her lips. petals had transformed into a crescent, sapphire hues glimmering like a starry night into the candle lit tent as she stood patiently awaiting by the makeshift door cut into material.

“your grace, i’m sorry to interrupt you ––“ your grace. the words almost felt FOREIGN rolling off of her own tongue and spilling from cherry blossom pinks. that was what she was used to other people calling her and here she was, approaching the king in the north as though she was some low born who wanted his attention. margaery tyrell however, was not a low born. she was a beauty that most men in westeros yearned to be with, whether they were peasants or from higher families. what house didn’t want an allegiance with a powerful house, that had a beautiful mare, ready for marriage ?? she truly was a sight to behold and she knew that. she even knew how to use it to her advantage and what position to stand in as men passed, though here she was ... presenting herself in no such way, other than a concern behind ocean orbs. she didn’t need to. margaery was unsure if she was alone in the way she felt but she could feel a T E N S I O N between them both. it was in the way that even when she glanced across to the greenery that lay miles ahead, she could feel his chocolates pressed against her. and now, she was finally speaking to him alone ... his mother was nowhere to be seen, nor renly, nor loras. seven hells, they were probably both together in her absence and there was something strangely comforting about that, knowing that nobody would be looking for her or concerned for her whereabouts. “–– i was hoping that we could have a moment. i wanted to apologise to you for all of the cruel things that the lannister family have done to you. together, we will win this war and your sisters will be safely with you again. i cannot fathom what my brothers would do if i were being held in a strange city. i’d like to think that they would be as brave and noble as you.”

a random one shot in which i twist the entire plot of game of thrones just because i can.

inspired by the prompt: a kiss to your lover's knuckle before a dance.

dont ask me how THIS came from that, it just did LOL

He finds her among the others, dressed in a silk gown of sapphire, made from a bolt of fabric he'd left in her rooms several weeks before. She's laughing, rosy lips curving as she pivots ever so slight, just enough that their eyes find each other's. Her laugh does not fade, but her eyes darken, pink tongue escaping to moisten those lips that only the night before had agonized him in the best of ways. "Your grace," Robb Stark says as he approaches, bowing low before Jon as he falls into place before them. She on the other hand does not move, not at first, smiling as if she holds onto a secret before she sinks into a curtsy, though she never once pulls her eyes from his face.

The Stark siblings have been South for nearly six months now, having arrived at the start of the new year. It was mostly out of peace between their kingdoms- once, their fathers had been at war- now, the sons have taken over and such a war had not been theirs to fight. Cousins by blood, neither Jon nor Robb had wished to shed another drop of family blood. And truth be told, neither had their fragile, broken nations. And so it was peace that was brokered, easily at that, and both Robb, the King in the North, and his sister and heir, Sansa, had come to King's Landing as Jon's honored guests.

"I thought I might dance with the lady," Jon says, beckoning towards Sansa who at least has the grace to blush. Robb casts a glance towards her and then grins as he turns back to Jon. Nodding with approval, he bows again before he makes his way through the crowd, only stopping when he catches sight of the lovely Margaery Tyrell who shines in pale gold damask, a single red rose tucked into the high coils of her hair. Reaching for her hand, he brings it close to his lips, brushing a soft kiss to her knuckles. Such a gesture sends shivers down her spine. "You look beautiful," he says as the music begins again, a slower tune that brings them closer together. They're both aware of the eyes that watch them, the King and the heir to the North, though they pay little mind of any of them watching. Her hand is small and warm in his, while her other hand dares to brush across the nape of his neck. That is what matters, that feeling her touch gives him. "That dress is most becoming."

She laughs, soft and twinkling, and once again those lips curve with a smile. "It is only because of this fine silk," she insists, though even she has been unable to do little else but admire the gown she's crafted for this night. Though quite unlike the styles of the North, she has retained some of her roots, for her red hair remains woven into braids, although it shimmers with a gem covered netting gifted to her by Margaery. That and the pendant she wears around her neck was stamped with her House sigil, worn once by her own father.

He twirls her out and then back in, closer than ever before, though she's uncertain as to how they could ever be closer. But then she snickers, recalling in fact, they could be much closer. As if Jon senses what she's thinking, it's his turn to chuckle, dipping his head down low, so close that his breath tickles her ear as he whispers what he's thought many times that evening. "I do wonder what it looks like upon the floor of my chamber, though." She blushes deep to the core of her hair, but she's breathless all the same. She likes it and he knows it. He loves that she likes it, truthfully.

Sansa Stark had come to King's Landing after a dark, somber period in her life. Once the spoiled, pampered princess of the North, she had been left alone in Winterfell with her youngest siblings, protected by the bitter cold and a small armed force. While her father had been in King's Landing, plotting against Jon's father, Rhaegar Targaryen, her mother had been with Robb on their way to join Ned in the South. What could not protect Sansa nor her siblings was the traitor Bolton House, that swept in upon hearing of Ned's death in battle and took Winterfell for themselves. Sansa was locked away in chambers and never again saw her siblings- Arya lost to the Northern wilderness, the boys certainly smothered in their chambers while they slept.

When Jon's father and Robert Baratheon was found dead after the last fight in what would now be called Robert's Rebellion- he and Robb met on the battlefield. It was Jon who spoke of peace and Robb who asked for nothing but to have help saving his sister from the unspeakable suffering she endured while held prisoner by Ramsay, the bastard born son of Roose Bolton. And save Sansa they had. Riding in at the head of an army, Robb and Jon swooped in and took Winterfell back in the name of House Stark.

Back then, she had worn her black gowns as armor, keeping to herself for the first few weeks of their arrival. Jon had assigned to her a few handmaidens and one in particular, Shae, certainly had found her place as Sansa's confidante. And then there was Margaery Tyrell, the beautiful and wealthy heiress to the Tyrell family. She had been the first to bring Sansa from her shell, the first person Jon had seen make her smile in the first six weeks of her stay. And then... One day... One day she had found him, all alone, in the quietest corner of the massive gardens. She had blushed, stammering an apology, turning to go before Jon could stop her. Two weeks later, they met again in similar fashion, though this time it had been Jon who happened upon her. They met here among the flowers nearly every day after that, hidden from prying eyes by rose bushes and fauna of the brightest green, side by side on the small stone bench.

That simple stone bench had been the place of their first kiss, a soft kiss that left him tingling long after she'd gone. Jon can't really remember when he'd begun to realize the depth of his feelings, but it was sometime between her falling in love with Ghost and Ghost with her, he really never could figure out which came first. But in truth, seeing her sink to the floor in his chambers to hug his neck, or to find the wolf asleep in her bed was all he'd needed to know the truth of how he felt. He loved her. He loved her beyond anything else in his entire life.

"The song is over..." It's her whispering and he jolts back to reality, realizing that indeed the song has ended and they still yet stand together. Springing apart, Jon offers her a most regal bow, his hand reaching for hers as he had done at the beginning. "Jon..." She calls him by name as the music strikes up another tune, this one quicker, though neither of them are thinking of dancing now.

"Meet me, in our usual spot," he murmurs over her knuckles before he drops her hand and disappears into the crowd. Sansa remains where she stands for several long moments more, her hand still yet warm where his lips had touched.

He hears her footsteps as she approaches.

There on the stone bench, he waits in silence for her, knowing without a doubt that she would come. She does not hesitate as she once might have, rather she sinks into her place at his side, silk skirts rustling with her movements. From above, the clouds shift, exposing her to the moon's pale light- though he cannot believe it, she's even far more beautiful with moonlight woven into her hair. He swallows, reaching out, hesitantly, to trace the length of her jaw with trembling fingers. "Jon..." Once again she calls him by his name and her hand reaches up, taking hold of his. This alone is enough to comfort him, to give him a sense of courage he's not even felt in battle before.

"Marry me," he says these words simply, without the hesitation from moment's before. She blinks, staring at him as if she's not heard him correctly. Before she can say a word, he's falling down to a knee before her, there on the stone bench, still yet clutching her hand. "Marry me, Sansa," he goes on, smiling up at her, those blue eyes wide in her ivory features. "It is the one thing in this life I have ever wanted-" to be a prince and then a king? It was not his first choice in life, but if he was going to do it... He wanted it to be with a woman he truly loved at his side. And despite the short time he's known her, he knows there can be no other. That there would never be another. This was not a king asking a princess, a noble, it was a man asking a woman. Nothing more, nothing less.

She cannot believe him when he speaks and yet... His dark eyed stare is so poignant, his words so very heartfelt. And truth be told, her her skips a beat at the realization of what he's asked of her. To marry him... To be his wife... Was it not what she dreamed of, if only in the privacy of her own mind? There is a warmth spreading through her and she finds herself to be nodding, over and over again nodding as she smiles brighter than she's ever smiled in all of her life. And then finally... She says what he's been waiting for.

"Yes."

When he rises up, she rises along with him, her heart singing as his hands slide into place against her cheeks. He could have spent forever right there in those gardens with her, if only time would allow. But he knows soon they must return to the ball and then to a new life they would build for themselves.

A happy world, a perfect world.

If Rhaegar won au aka King Rhaegar and Queen Lyanna

In an au where Rhaegar won the Battle Of The Trident and killed Robert Baratheon(reposting my old au after so long do to harassment)

Rhaegar gets the upper hand in the battle of the Trident and killed Robert Baratheon

Tywin would have chosen to back Rhaegar once hearing the news of Robert’s death. Instead of the sacking of King’s Landing, the Lannisters would have slaughtered the Rebel forces. He would have kept Ned, Jon, Hoster and Stannis alive cause Tywin saw the value of them to keep the peace and Rhaegar never wanted the war.

Stannis would not play along, he would have been sent to the wall. Renly would have became the lord of Storm’s End

Rhaegar would have sent the medical aid to Lyanna , Lyanna would have lived

Rhaegar and Tywin would have ousted Aerys the minute they entered the red keep. Aerys would act like the grateful father and the old friend praising his old friend Tywin. But Rhaegar forcibly removes his father from the crown and Tywin orders Gregor Clegane to deliver the crown’s swift justice. Jaime’s honor would not have been stained

Jaime would immediately tell Rhaegar and his father about the wildfire plot and that would have been dealt with in a heartbeat. Rhaegar praises Jaime’s heroism and tells him that he owes him a debt that he could never repay.

Rhaella wouldn’t have to be forced to flee to Dragonstone and would have lived to raise Daenerys and Viserys would not have lost everything and be force to become the beggar king, Viserys would have lived a stable and happy life. Daenerys would have a home, she wouldn’t have had an awful childhood, she would have her family and she would be happy.

Lyanna would have lived. I believe Rhaegar and Lyanna were in love. As soon as Lyanna recovered, I believe she would have told Ned that she did not want to be in a loveless marriage with Robert, and chose to go with Rhaegar of her own free will and tell she fell in love with Rhaegar. Ned would have understood and knew that she couldn’t have possibly foresee what would happen, so there would be peace between the Targaryens. and the Starks.

A proper wedding. Rhaegar and Lyanna would be married under the Weirwood Tree and Lyanna would wear a crown of Winter Roses and a gown and cloak befitting a Northern Queen

Elia would return to Dorne in this case, since she already gave heirs to Rhaegar and they don’t live together as a couple any longer. As Rhaegar and Elia’s marriage was a political move, not based on love, it seemed it was a platonic love, not a romantic one. it was a mutual agreement that Elia would remain in Dorne, as Rhaegar feared for her health and safety and Aegon and Rhaenys would visit Elia every now and then in Dorne. Elia and Rhaegar kept correspondence often and remained friends. Elia living a happy life is more important.

Lyanna and Elia would become fast friends. There is no resentment from Elia nor jealousy from Lyanna. Elia is happy that Lyanna was someone Rhaegar could truly find happiness and Lyanna was fond of Elia. They would correspond frequently and even bring her son to meet auntie Elia.

Jaime would remain in the Kingsguard and Cersei would remain a lady in the court who would be betrothed to Viserys when he comes of age

Petyr Baelish would have never attained the power he had in the books and would have just fucked off in Braavos.

Gerold Hightower, Barristan Selmy, Arthur Dayne, Oswell Whent and Loras Tyrell would be Rhaegar’s Kingsguard.

Rhaegar’s small council would consist of Tywin Lannister as Hand Of The King, Gerold Hightower as Lord Commander, Pycelle as Grand Maester, Doran Martell(of course Oberyn would go in Doran’s place) would be made as Master Of Laws in a way to mend relations with the Martells, Mace Tyrell as Master Of Coin, Paxter Redwyne as Master Of Ships, and Varys as Master Of Whispers.

With Rhaegar as king, there would be more effort into sending knights and soldiers to The Night’s Watch. Rhaegar knew The Others were coming so he would indeed take The Night’s Watch more seriously than his father or the crown ever did.

The Greyjoy Rebellion would still happen because Balon Greyjoy is a fucking moron. Balon believing Rhaegar was too soft to be king, rebels, and boy was he mistaken. The end result is the same. Balon’s sons are killed and Theon is taken as ward of the Starks.

Prior to the Greyjoy Rebellions, Rhaegar began to have dreams about the one eyed kraken blowing a horn to control dragons to burn the kingdom down. So Rhaegar took action and swiftly executed Euron Greyjoy in the Rebellion

Lyanna was a queen of action. She is there to lead the armies with her husband and king. Lyanna urged Ned to be more vigilant of The Boltons. And because of The Starks watching his every move, Roose Bolton dared not take FIrst Night with the Miller’s Wife, so Ramsay is never born.

There would be no War of the Five Kings. Tywin is hand of the king, Cersei is content with her marriage to Prince Viserys, Littlefinger never became as powerful as he is in canon. The realm is under the strong leadership of The Last Dragon.

Rhaegar would have taken several visits to Essos to find the dragon eggs. Eventually the dragon eggs are found and Rhaegar would attempt to hatch them. Even though he was deeply traumatized by the events of his birth, he’d still want to make the prophecy of his grand-grand-uncle become true. Only Rhaegar would be much more careful in his attempt to hatch dragons, unlike Aegon V, who managed to burn down almost all of his family and himself included. when the eggs are indeed hatched, the dragons would be given to his children, Rhaenys, Aegon and Jaehaerys. But there would be one more. This dragon would be given to Dany

Something within Rhaegar is called to the ruins of Valyria. In this expedition. Rhaegar finds a Valyrian Steel Sword. Rhaegar names his personal Valyrian Steel Sword The Song For Dawn

Betrothals. Aegon is betrothed to Margaery, Viserys is betrothed to Cersei, Robb is betrothed to Rhaenys and Jaehaerys is betrothed to Daenerys.

Aegon and Rhaenys would love Lyanna and treat her like their own mother and Lyanna views them as her own children

Aegon would be the heir to Dragonstone. The Crown Prince Aegon is loved by the high lords and ladies and the common folk

Princess Rhaenys inherited her musical skills from her father. She plays the high-harp and fills the halls of the Red Keep with her beautiful singing voice. Little Baelarion always dances to Rhaenys songs.

Summerhall would be rebuilt and Jahaerys would be lord of Summerhall.

Rhaegar’s children would get along with Ned’s children. Jaehaerys and Robb would be best friends. Rhaenys adores Sansa and Arya. Aegon loves his cousins.

It took some time, but Ned and Benjen forgave Rhaegar and Lyanna and grew to love them like family. The Targaryens and Starks have been close ever since
