The Court AU has me DEAD!!! If you’d be willing, what sort of outfits would they wear? I’d love to draw them!
Anon, I had so many tabs open looking up medieval-type fashion and armor, we're talking like 30+, felt super awesome finishing this and closing them all 😌
Anyway--
Sans (Undertale): What’s black and blue and white all over? Why, him of course! His jester’s motley features a black-and-white diamond pattern, offset by bright, rich, royal blue—a mark of his service to the king. He doesn’t wear one of those silly hats, though…because he wears a silly hood instead! Less chance of falling off, you see. When not in costume he tends toward simple tunics, of decent material and often still in blue.
Papyrus (Undertale): Almost never out of full plate armor, even in downtime, he has to dress for the job he wants and that means being a shining metal bastion of knightly glory at all times! …Though he does often remove his helmet and hold it by his sword at his hip, or fasten it to his steed’s side. He’s a very handsome skeleton, it would be cruel to deny the people the chance to see their hero’s face!
Sky (Underswap Sans): Soft blues and yellows, as a squire only lightly armored—greaves and pauldrons, a mail shirt beneath his tunic if he’s expected to go into battle—but he considers even that much armoring to be overkill for what he’s doing. Still, his Captain insists, and it makes his brother feel better, so he takes care protecting himself. He has some nicer finery to wear about court, as a nobleman, but tends simpler for anything that might be dirtied or torn in training.
Paps (Underswap Papyrus): Rich green and earthy browns, his clothing tends to be without ostentation—no embroidery, no gold buckles or buttons, or anything especially elaborate. He may be noble but he’s a scholar and a recluse and prefers not to stand out much. Still, the fabrics of which his clothing is made are always fine, as coarse or stiff materials quite put him off. Mostly cottes—long belted tunics—with the occasional robe over, if it's cold.
Jasper (Underfell Sans): Blacks and browns, sturdy plain clothes which can stand up to considerable wear and tear. Often wears a short diamond-quilted gambeson and some leather armor (vambraces and greaves), but always has a sword belted to his hip and a cloak made of dire-wolf’s fur draped over his shoulders. If ever he should need to acknowledge his denounced family name, he does have some finer clothing stored away somewhere—in red—and a shiny gold signet ring with his family crest on it.
Pyre (Underfell Papyrus): Usually in half plate armor, dark metal heavily scratched and scorched, dents meticulously hammered back out. He also wears a tattered red cape about his shoulders that billows quite majestically behind him when he rides or runs into battle. He will occasionally dress down in laced tunics and breeches, still in red and black, fine but not too fine as to raise suspicion about his heritage. Should all that ever come out, he does have a suit of pristine night-black armor he’s been dying to inherit and a silken cape to pin about it with a golden clasp of the family’s crest.
Mal (Swapfell Sans): Mostly black but flaunts his privilege and royal ties with purple accents wherever possible. Brigandine armor with a fine gold-plated gorget and pauldrons and a few other ornamental trappings—he is the Empress’ personal guard and must in some capacity be as elegant. Very fine doublets and tunics for his (rare) downtime, often with gold threading, but not fond of most jewelries.
Rus (Swapfell Papyrus): Dark colors and crisp whites, noble yet eccentric, he has a lot of fine doublets and other such court-wear but tends not to actually…wear them. He can mostly be found in loose-fitting cottes, baggy sleeves often penned up by leather armlets to keep them out of his paints. He has a fur-hooded cloak for travel or cold weather, but he rarely leaves his rooms, much less the castle, so he doesn’t don it often.
Slate (Horrortale Sans): Dark browns and off-white cream, simple rough-hewn clothing showing signs of wear and occasionally odd stains. He works in the stables, with animals, and being around animals so much makes it difficult to keep clean. He has a somewhat decent dark blue cloak that he’ll wear into town for errands, or in polite company—it has a hood to conceal the great jagged hole in his head that tends to make the squeamish or timid flinch away from him.
Papy (Horrortale Papyrus): Still hasn’t quite shaken the habit to be armored, even when it isn’t necessary, but he’s cut down from full plate to chain mail only, much lighter and easier to move around in—which is vital when hurrying to the training field for an accident, or running to meet a wounded knight at the gates. He wears a simple tabard over his mail, blue with red edging (the Queen’s colors), and keeps a pouch of bandages and other aid supplies belted to his waist instead of a sword.
Ash (Undergloom Sans): The livery of the king’s court, gray and gold, but dyed into fabrics suitable for common folk. He still wears gray when not performing at court, tunics so thickly woven they could pass as a gambeson and often paired with hooded cloaks, but he keeps his golds set aside until needed to keep them in good condition. He takes equal care of his shiny brass sackbut (it’s a horn, with a very funny name but an instrument nonetheless) so it always plays well.
Yrus (Undergloom Papyrus): Off-white and tan linens, loose and breathable for hot work in the kitchens, sleeves rolled up and pinned at the elbows to keep them from getting in the way. Always an apron about his waist, occasionally with food stains after a long day’s work but these he quickly tends to as soon as he’s able. He has nothing in the way of real finery but tries very hard to make sure what he has is clean and presentable.
Brick (Horrorfell Sans): Fine brocaded doublets of rich red and shining gold thread, as a duke and brother to a king, he does have to dress the part a bit. He wears more jewelry, especially rings, but nearly always still has his dire-wolf fur cloak over his shoulders. When called for executions, he dresses down quite a bit, in simple black cloth with only a leather pauldron over one shoulder to help brace the weight of his axe before he swings.
King (Horrorfell Papyrus): Half plate armor essentially at all times, even formal or polite occasions—he’s the owner of a stolen throne and all too aware that it could be stolen from him the same way he got it. His breastplate is scaled and his pauldrons are elaborately spiked, but it’s all black. The only pop of color on him is his crown, the same worn by Asgore and Undyne, gold and sharp, with rubies inlaid.
Merc (Horrorswap Sans): Chain mail over a finely-made kaftan and beneath a traveling cloak, the latter two with signs of wear from a long journey. His head is notably absent of a crown—left behind in the kingdom he fled—but a new one awaits him soon, of flashing silver and blue stone, depicting the phases of the moon. When fully established in his new kingdom, he may begin dressing as a proper king again, draping himself in the blue and silver finery of the land that sheltered him.
Ell (Horrorswap Papyrus): Browns, greens, and blacks, he wears light leather armor—really just a breastplate and vambraces—and a thick woolen cloak about his shoulders. He has no need of greaves for his shins, legs lost to an accident in the wilderness, but supplanted by magical prosthetics, living blackened wood provided by his land when he called upon it for aid. …Not that he’s fully accepted that it’s his land, keeping his crown of twisting copper and emerald tucked away in a saddlebag instead of on his brow. Maybe someday…
Pitch (Horrorswapfell Sans): Rich purple and verdant green, amidst a sea of black—he favors very fine fabrics with open lacing at the chest. Still not especially fond of jewelry, but wears considerably more decorative leather braces on forearms, shins, and even the occasional full-chest corset. (He has some chronic pain and the extra pressure and support in certain spots helps.) He wears considerably more plain clothes for knight-training purposes and when traveling wears a black cloak with a cowl that comes down over the hole in his face at a point, as the beak of a raven.
Nemo (Horrorswapfell Papyrus): Usually in half plate splint mail armor for his patrols along the wall, but favors rusty oranges, brown and black for the tunics and boots and breeches he wears out of it. Often carries a lantern, and always has tinder in a pouch on his hip. Beside his pouch is a war-horn in case an alert would need to be called, loud enough to make everyone come running if it’s ever sounded.
Sunny (Gastertale Sans): A cavalierly styled courtier, at first having made do with graciously lent clothing and now being able to buy his own in a whole variety of rich colors—yellow, blue, magenta, and on. His aim is to look at home in court, which means he must dress as other courtiers do, so he has doublets and fine tunics and many, many fashionable capelets with embroidery and stylish pins, as well as a few equally chic plumed hats. The other courtiers look to him now for the latest fashion trends and he couldn’t be happier.
Aster (Gastertale Papyrus): A bit more subdued in style than his brother…though only a bit. He favors black frocks, almost as a cleric would wear, but beneath them, elegant doublets in greens and yellows as vibrant as anything his twin wears, with fine silver filigree work in his buckles and pins and clasps. He’s the pinnacle of restrained class and taste and it’s no wonder at all that the king should respect him so highly if his care in thought is as his care in appearance.
Spectr (Transcendtale Sans): Deep, dark black from head to toe, most prominently a long hooded cloak with two eye-lights glowing in the darkness. He always wears gloves and never lets his hood down, as he’s not especially fond of his metal bones and doesn’t really wish to be seen. It’s difficult to see in the daytime, but at night he’s trailed by faint wisps of ghostly light in all colors of the rainbow, such a strange sight that many a drunkard who’s seen him has poured out their bottle presuming they’d had quite a bit too much.
PapAIrus (Transcendtale Papyrus): Full plate armor, of course, but as he’s now some sort of spectral entity, it (and he!) glows and is slightly see-through. Being ghostly has washed out his colors quite thoroughly which is unfortunate—mostly all white with hints of silvery blue—but on the up-side he seems able to change his appearance some by will alone, donning or discarding his helmet at will, manifesting a majestic cape for himself out of the ether, and so on. It seems a fair enough trade to him!
Xanth (Ascendswap Sans): A man at court now, he’s donned an eye-patch and abandoned the trappings of prospective knighthood, fully embraced courtier fashion…if a bit ‘eccentrically.’ He favors bright yellows and spring greens, flowing garments of fine cloth layered beneath and over leather vambraces, gorget, and tasset. All these are elaborately, intricately designed and certainly make the similarly intricate gold jewelry (with multicolored gems) that he wears at wrist and neck stand out, but it’s hardly in fashion… Still, the mystic’s thinking is often inscrutable.
Piper (Ascendswap Papyrus): Unlike his brother, very fashionable and eye-catching, in rich amaranths and brilliant turquoises, with even the occasional lavender. He has many fine embroidered doublets, threaded liberally with gold, and wears many pieces of gold jewelry as well—necklaces, bracelets, pins, and brooches. When showing the birds of the crown at court or bidding them on a royal hunt, he wears the livery of the crown-proper—royal purple and gold—and always has a thick leather falconer’s glove on his left hand.
Carmine (Underfell Fruition Sans): What’s black and white and red all over? Well, newspapers haven’t been invented yet, so it’s him, of course! He’s no jester so he hasn’t a motley to wear to work, but he is a performer and does dress in the livery of the king, which is red and black. The material is a bit finer than he’s used to, but being that he’s no longer wearing rags and rotting in a hole, he’s quite pleased with it and doesn’t mind the bright colors that help him attract the eyes of many comely nobles at court. Off-duty, he sticks to loose, somewhat open tunics—red still very much preferred.
Tank (Underfell Fruition Papyrus): Laced linen shirts, not especially loosely fitting due to his largeness in the chest and shoulders but he hasn’t burst any seams in awhile so the measurements must be somewhat correct. He’s fond of white and a true connoisseur of red, all shades from dark to very light. He keeps an array of small carpentry tools—hammers, chisels, things for measuring—in a roll on his hip, a dedicated apprentice to the core.
Vi (Swapfell Fruition Sans): All black, pourpoint armor beneath fine silk doublets but almost disappointingly plain otherwise—no embroidery, no ornament, or stitched pattern, or brocade. Over this he wears a cloak, equally fine and with at least some ostentation, a bit of silver stitched decoration that matches the intimidatingly clawed silver gauntlet he wears upon his left hand—a symbol of his wealth, if not his status. These flashy items are for matters of court only, as he has a much more nondescript hooded cloak and less identifiable sharp implement which he uses for matters of stealth and misdeeds when it is important that he not be recognized.
Hunter (Swapfell Frution Papyrus): A prince in princely attire…mostly. He happily flaunts the color purple but proudly wears it with the black of his old family name, and drapes himself in silk tunics, fine (mostly decorative) pauldrons, capes and capelets. He tends to show off a bit more of his chest than seems appropriate for a man of his station, and seems to wear his elegant silver jewelry in ways such that the eye is drawn there, and…other places, but few question the whims of royalty. His pewter crown is heavy and inelegant and he’s talked much with his brother about how angry people would be if he had it melted and recast into something more stylish.
Kohl (Descendtale Sans): Plain, rough tunics, in black and dark brown. He wears a heavy fur-lined gabardine as it gets quite cold in the dungeons, though it’s uncertain where he managed to get such a nice garment. He keeps a knife on his belt, large and jagged-toothed, and though he hasn’t had need to use it yet, the threat of it tends to keep most prisoners from attempting to bring him harm.
Bram (Descendtale Papyrus): He’s traded in his full plate armor for a comfortably fit leather jerkin, accompanied by matching gauntlets to protect his hands and torso (inasmuch as they need protection, without flesh) from the thorns he trims back every day. He mostly wears black and white and brown, all things closely fit to his body, less they snag overmuch and need to be replaced too often. His clothing is simple but well-suited to his work, and he wears it nicely.

S/O and skeleton play Just Dance
Main ten plz
Undertale Sans - He's sitting on the couch and lazily moves the controller from there. The thing is clearly monitoring only small movements, why would you even tire yourself out when he can make a high score by doing nothing? You're raging so much.
Undertale Papyrus - He puts all his soul into this. But, uh... Papyrus is very expressive when he's dancing, and that's at least the fifth time he accidentally smacks you at full force in the face with his controller. He swears he's trying to pay attention but he has too much passion in his heart.
Underswap Sans - He insists on playing the highest difficulty because the easiest ones are not challenging enough. After like twenty dances, he's still as fresh as new while you're coughing your lungs out and can't catch a breath. You want to stop, he refuses. He's having too much fun. You're going to die you think.
Underswap Papyrus - He's doing his best but, uh, it's not really good. He's a terrible dancer and it's hilarious to see. He's completely oblivious to it though. He's having fun and he really doesn't care about what he looks like, he just wants to win.
Underfell Sans - He's doing the bare minimum to please you, but that's really not his thing. He's moving a leg or an arm from time to time, that's it. Every time you're looking at him, he blushes furiously and ignores you. Stop staring you're going to lose.
Underfell Papyrus - He didn't want to play but then you said it's just because he knows he's going to lose. Now, he's destroying you on the dancefloor. You're getting crushed, beaten, and crushed again as he wins dance after dance. Now who's the loser, uh?! LOSER!
Horrortale Sans - He can't coordinate his legs and arms properly and the instructions are going too fast on the screen for him to proceed. He gives up after ten minutes, defeated, and just sits on the couch to watch you. He's tired just looking at you move and eventually falls asleep.
Horrortale Papyrus - He can't participate because of his back, but he's cheering you and appreciating the show. You swear he's staring at your butt and he's not even hiding it. When you call him out, he simply wiggles his non-existent eyebrows at you. What is that even supposed to mean?
Swapfell Sans - He keeps whining saying the game is boring and that the devs would win so much more money if they put effort into doing a similar thing to train royal guards. Is he the only one to see the potential of this thing? What's even the point of dancing in your living room? Do you have so few friends you express the need to have the TV as your friend? Yeah, that and definitely not crying because you're better at the game than he is.
Swapfell Papyrus - He's a dirty player and will try all he can to distract you from the game to win, even pushing you into the couch so you lose a few seconds. After a few minutes, both of you completely forget the game as you're fighting on the floor playfully trying to make the other fall. He can't take things seriously.
Fellswap Gold Sans - You call this dancing? This game is for babies. He'll show you real dance! He throws the controller, grabs you, and makes you dance with him for real. After ten minutes, you're so tired you can't even walk anymore. Wine calls you weak but says you have potential for a royal prom. That's sort of a compliment you guess?
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He doesn't want to play at first, shy, but the more you're playing, the more he comes to you. Eventually, you manage to convince him to try, and now he won't stop dancing. He's not that bad, adding to that. You help him to discover something about him this day.

Hey I saw undertale was recently added to the white list so can I request headcannons of (separately) dating the skeleton brothers also known as WELCOME TO THE UNDERGROUND and How (are your bal-) was the fall?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you like cuddles? Well, now you do since Sans will take every opportunity he can get to be able to flop onto you and hold you close. Small kisses here, neck nuzzles there, just some warm affection all around. He will also make jokes and puns like he always does, and maybe a little bit of tickling. What can he say, he loves to see you smile and laugh. You're the best audience he's ever had. Papyrus shows his love with lots of physical affection and acts of service. He'll pick you up in a hug and spin you around when you come home after a long day, become almost a househusband as he cooks and cleans for you, and overall helps with any chore he can. He'd also take you out on soooo many dates. Maybe nothing too fancy or expensive, but he'll make sure you have fun every step of the way! He'll even take you to some of his training sessions with Undyne, meaning now the two of you can train for the Royal Guard... and also learn how to cook pasta.

Note: These are only SOME of the relationships for my Desert Sanctuary AU. If you want to see the rest, please check out my Guidebook.
Sans + Papyrus: The brothers still love each other but their relationship has become more distant due to Papyrus' role in the Royal Guard taking up time. They aren't together as often as in the original. Papyrus doesn't want Sans to get hurt during his Royal Guard duties. Sans is scared that when war officially breaks out either in the Underground or on the Surface, he will lose his brother.
Papyrus + Martlet: BFFs, almost sibling-like. Martlet had been the first to approach Papyrus when he joined the guard and offered her friendship to him. They spend most of their time together training, talking about puzzles and cooking. They have greatly improved each other as individuals. Martlet has helped Papyrus become a decent cook and become more socially aware so he isn't as annoying. Thanks to personal experience, Papyrus broke Martlet's habit of dozing off during work... mostly. The only real dampener on their relationship is Martlet's secret allegiance.
Starlo + Ceroba: Due to their high-ranking positions in the Sanctuary, they often need to work together so they end up spending a lot of time together, both in and out of work. Despite trying to keep things professional, they have grown to be much closer. After Clover's journey ended, Starlo had quite literally become her North Star, guiding her through the process of healing.
Frisk + Clover: Clover is the only who can keep Frisk in check.
Ĉ̗̣͍͇̥͎͙̽̕ḥ̪̳̤͖ͮ̀ḁ̸̻̘̬̹̳̳̘̈͛̑̑r̢͍̣̼͈͛ͪa̶̖͍͇̖̬̦̫̣͌̇ͩͫ + Clover: "Fascinating."

Cross: So you're the one who prepares my sire's meals.. Blue: PAPYRUS MAKE SURE THIS GETS TO THE GUARDIAN! Papyrus: YES CAPTAIN Undyne: Are you doing okay Alphys? Alphys: N-no... I was the last monster to see the king alive... Killer: Hey, think Epic got sick of Crossy almost being glued to him and kicked him out? Dust: Maybe... But it sounded like Cross was going to interrogate the cooking staff right now. Epic: Bruh, how are you not sweating in all those layers?! Cross: This is barely a workout sire. Ready for round two? Epic: Probably not... No... Drabbles below ~ 1545 words
Horror nervously swallowed as he watched the guardian give him a final appraising look. Time slowed as he felt his anxiety crawling down his back as Cross seemed to stare into him. He did his best to answer everything the guardian had asked but the head injury meant he sometimes had problems finding the proper words to convey what he means without long pauses. However, it seemed that the smaller skeleton had made his decision.
"From this point on wards you will only report to me and you will personally cook all of my sire's meals until all the staff has been thoroughly investigated." Horror stared in shock. He had always been loyal to the crown, but he has never prepared a meal for any of the royal court members. Most of his job involved prep work for the other chefs. He knew he was competent when it came to simple, hardy meals that could fill the belly of a hungry soul, but the more extravagant meals he has seen being prepared for the royal advisor made his non-existent stomach twist at the mere idea of failing to recreate those dishes.
Cross handed Horror a list of meals he wanted Epic to eat that would help with his training. The large red eye skimmed the paper and Horror couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. They were all foods that he knew very well. The first meal requested was simple and nutrient dense stew with a hardy loaf of bread, something Horror was confident in making. His meal would certainly satisfy the new King’s hunger if this is what he wanted to eat.
..............................................................................................................................
Blue had finished compiling a list of all the guards who would have been near the King's chambers when Alphys had started to scream. The list also contained information regarding who would have typically been in the kitchen preparing the former King's tea and treats for that day. He still wanted to go over a few lists of other servants that could have had access to the King's food and room during the time, but knew that Cross would need the names of who he had sooner rather than later. Calling Papyrus into the room, he quickly handed the scroll to the other.
"PAPYRUS MAKE SURE THIS GETS TO THE GUARDIAN!"
"YES CAPTAIN"
Papyrus saluted his captain before hurrying out of the room to complete his task. Blue watched Papyrus leave, shaking his head to clear his mind before turning his attention back to the scrolls on his desk. There were still so many names and schedules to go through and it was important that it all be completed as soon as possible. At least he could be certain that the information he had already compiled will soon reach the guardian.
Blue could have given this errand to another, but given the hushed confirmation from Cross that he was suspicious of the King's death meant Blue couldn't be too sure who to trust right now. However, he knew he could trust Papyrus. Papyrus had been working with him and the Royal family for years and showed nothing but adoration towards the former King. He almost had gotten into trouble for trying to confront a less than polite noble who mocked the King during a private meeting that the noble had requested.
..............................................................................................................................
Alphys shifted nervously, picking at the tips of her claws and her eyes shifted back and forth as she spoke with Undyne. She knew that the guardian was not happy with her response about not knowing who had cleaned up the spilled tea and food of the former King, but there was only so much she could do now.
"Hey, anyone in that scenario could have missed who came to clean everything up." Undyne said trying to sooth her girlfriend. "Look, I doubt the guardian is going to blame you for that, and anyone who knows you would be able to confirm you did not kill the king."
Alphys gulped, but nodded. Unfortunately there was not much for her to do but wait until the Guardian and the young King reached their conclusion regarding her participation in the murder. For now, she was free and was expected to return to work like normal.
"Y-you're r-right... I... I k-know I d-didn't kill t-the King! H-hopefully, they'll r-realize that too." Alphys declared, trying to copy the confidence her girlfriend had.
..............................................................................................................................
It was one of the rare instances where Cross had actually left Epic "alone". Usually he would only leave, with his tail metaphorically tucked between his legs, after Epic very vocally insisted that his guardian did not need to hover around him as he did paper work. In this case, Cross was determined to speak with the cooking staff as soon as possible to ensure that his charge's food would not pass through multiple hands. It meant Killer and Dust would be guarding the king for the time being.
Dust and Killer were the first two guards that Cross had come to trust after he was assigned to Epic. They worked seamlessly with him and were more than competent enough to take care of any potential threats while the Guardian performed other duties relating to his role. Dust's keen eye for detail and uncanny ability to detect other's intention paired with Killer's ferocious attacks and stamina were close to matching Cross's own skill as a guardian. Although, Cross could do without the stress the duo occasionally inflicted when they encouraged his charge to get into shenanigans when the trio thought they could get away with it.
Killer turned to Dust, a cheeky smirk plastered onto his face. "Hey, think Epic got sick of Crossy almost being glued to him and kicked him out?"
"Maybe..." Dust snorted, as he thought about all the times in less dire situations where Epic seemed to try and hide a blush as Cross had crowded into his personal space. If anyone were to ask him, he'd say that Epic probably enjoyed Cross invading his space more than he'd want to admit. "But it sounded like Cross was going to interrogate the cooking staff right now."
"Stars, hate to be in their shoes right now." Killer muttered, casually throwing a knife at his companion.
"Doubt he'll be gone for long." Dust huffed, a lazy but knowing grin graced his face as he caught the blade.
"True, Crossy always hates being away from his charge for too long. He's such a good doggy." Killer snickered.
The duo gossiped as they waited for the guardian's return, knowing it was unlikely the King would be making an appearance until the paper work was finished or Cross retrieved him. It definitely was not couth to be speculating on the exact nature of the King and his Guardian's relationship, but both individuals knew manners were not either of their strong points. After all, they were only paid to kick ass and stand around menacingly.
..............................................................................................................................
When Epic finally managed to get a break from reviewing documents and planning his coronation, he dragged Cross out for another sparring session. Cross huffed as his charge grabbed his hand and pulled him around the castle. The other was determined to continue to practice since he was so close to landing a hit on his Guardian! Besides, after everything that had happened, Epic needed to do something physical to get a grip on all this restless energy that buzzed in his bones.
When they reached the training ground, Epic realized he had the guardian's hand in his for the entire trip. The young King tried to hid his flustered reaction to the realization by throwing off his outer layers. Cross, a bit oblivious to the cause of Epic's reaction, shrugged and went to get the practice swords.
An hour and a half of constantly getting his form corrected and ass beaten left Epic a sweating and bruised mess. His skull and bones were flushed light purple with exertion and he stared disbelievingly at Cross. It was early evening in the middle of the summer and the guardian did not look like he even broke out into a sweat even with his heavy uniform.
"Bruh, how are you not sweating in all those layers?!" Epic exclaimed, trying to figure out how Cross seemed to remain cool since he still had yet to see the other strip off his bulky coat during any of their training sessions.
"This is barely a workout sire." Cross chuckled, as he looked over at his overheating charge. "Ready for round two?"
"Probably not... No." Epic replied as he pulled himself together for another round.
At least by the end of the training session, Epic finally felt tired. He was laying half on the bed, as Cross guarded the door when there was a knock. The guardian checked the door, and let the other in when he saw who it was.
Horror had brought the requested stew directly from the kitchen to the King. He raised a brow when he saw the King laying in bed, slightly purple from exertion and quickly glanced at Cross, not sure what to make of the situation. Being friends with Dust and Killer meant he was often dragged into their speculations regarding the pair. Up until this point, Horror had never interacted with either, but he can certainly say he did not expect to see the young, and apparently flushed, King on his bed while the Guardian had a slightly smug aura to him. His thoughts were cut short as the smell of the hearty meal roused Epic to sit up. The other looked absolutely ravenous as he stared at the food.
"Stars! That smells amazing! Thank you!" Epic grinned, as Horror placed the food near him.
"Yer welcome... My lord." The large skeleton said, smiling in approval as the King moaned appreciatively as he shoved a large spoonful of stew into his mouth.
Just as Horror was leaving he caught Epic half jokingly attempting to feed Cross a large spoonful of the stew. Red eye light observed the pair's easy and playful interactions when they thought no one was watching. Horror thought that maybe Killer and Dust's gossip had more merit than he had previously considered as he fully closed the door to the King's room.

Ok, look, look. So, Marty's puzzles don't look so great, right? This might lead us to believe she's a bad carpenter.
But we know that Royal Guards build their own outposts, because sans and Papyrus both built theirs.
Tumblr media
Just look at this lovely piece of artwork here!
And Ava looks great, too, and only has one very small leak (look, Marty was trained to build houses, not boats).
If you give a rating of "1" on the questionnaire for puzzle quality, Marty says it's because her superiors refuse to answer her requests for better materials. Leaving her to scrounge from dilapidated old shanties.
Don't disrespect Martlet of the Royal Guard. She's more capable than circumstances make her seem.

Rewriting Undyne's Character...
Tumblr media
Cause she is a bit of a hot mess...
Tumblr media
*I gave her green hair and fins to match her green heart magic.
*She is stoic and more mature, but also somewhat emotionally constipated and a workaholic.
*Her personality is kinda similar to how Undyne was with her helmet on: A professional badass, instead of a racist jerk and hotheaded bully to Frisk.
*She is married to her job as the Royal Guard Captain.
*She doesn't enjoy attacking Frisk.
*In fact, she's uncomfortable with it, if Frisk doesn't kill anyone.
*She's more honest with Papyrus and says that he CAN'T be in the Royal Guard, unless he has the guts to actually defeat/destroy his enemies.
*Papyrus believes that simply capturing a human would prove that he's worthy enough.
*Undyne's hobbies are both piano and singing.
*Undyne gives Papyrus music lessons for fun, instead of terrible cooking lessons.
*Alphys still has a crush on Undyne, but Undyne only sees Alphys as a friend... unless they reach the surface and Undyne doesn't have to be a workaholic captain anymore.
*Undyne's backstory with Asgore is that the previous human that came before Frisk killed and hurt a lot of monsters (but out of self-defense and paranoia)... Kid Undyne and other children were playing with King Asgore (cause the king loves kids) when the human came, Kid Undyne asked if the human wanted to play and the human slashed out Undyne's eye... The human and Asgore fought and Asgore won... Undyne decided to get training from Asgore himself, so she can prevent the human's cruelty from happening to herself and others again... She thought that Frisk was going to hurt Papyrus, like the previous human had hurt her.
*Undyne and most of the kingdom don't know that Chara was a human. They thought Chara was an adopted monster. Long ago, Gerson and other adult monsters had changed Chara's story when they told it to younger generations. Gerson convinced Asgore not to correct these changes, because they would've caused questions and conflictions. And some monsters might've even rebelled against the idea of a second war, if they learned Chara was a human. (This wouldn't be a super OOC thing for Asgore to do or let happen... after all, Asgore didn't stop Mettaton from moving the statue that could possibly be Asriel or a monster war hero.)
*Undyne thought that Frisk was only pretending to be friendly to trick Papyrus and the others, so Frisk can hurt them all later.
*She realizes that Frisk's compassion is genuine, when Frisk saved a monster kid's life... But she still has a job to do, even if a part of her wants to stop... When Frisk saves her from overheating, she feels guilty, humbled and a bit more willing to be Frisk's friend after some encouraging words from Papyrus.
*Undyne and Frisk both bond over music.
*After she bonded with Frisk, she apologizes, and she calls off the Royal Guards in the Hotlands.

While with canon...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
See the difference?
Some bonus Rewrite Alphys:
*She went from a shy nerd to a smug and sassy nerd.
*The biggest problems with Canon Alphys' character is that she's kind of an idiot and a flip-flop. She can't decide whether she wants to be seen as the Kingdom's hero or Frisk's hero (even if she's tricking them). Also, it's crazy that Mettaton showed the whole kingdom on LIVE TV that Alphys was helping the human. She's basically being a traitor (even though it was fake, nobody knew that). Yet nobody to banging down the lab's door and trying to attack or arrest her... Or attack Mettaton or admitting on TV that he's trying to save the humans and abandon the kingdom.
*In this rewrite, she's pretending to be Frisk's ally like in canon, but unlike in canon, her plan makes a bit more sense.
*She pretends to be Frisk's ally to lower their guard down, until Frisk reaches the final battle with Mettaton, where she can blast them with a soul harvester... And Mettaton tells their plan to the monsters watching their TVs, before his first meeting with Frisk... That's why nobody is angry at Alphys.
*But then Alphys slowly grew attached to Frisk and tries to stop the plan and tries to tell Frisk the truth, but Mettaton hacks into Alphys' phone calls.
*But Mettaton wants to follow the plan through and give Frisk's soul to Asgore; Mettaton is more loyal to the kingdom in this rewrite.
*After the final battle with Mettaton, Alphys' sadness and guilt would be much more impactful, since she's sassier and bolder in this rewrite.
*After befriending Undyne, Frisk convinces Undyne and Papyrus to help Frisk get Alphys out of her guilt-filled depression.
*Everyone hangs out and talks in Waterfall, where Alphys builds a new robot that will help future humans that fall down into the kingdom, as a way to apologize to Frisk.
* Alphys later shows Frisk, Undyne and Papyrus the amalgamates, but in this rewrite Alphys doesn't leave Frisk alone to fend for themselves and Alphys gets both called out and comforted by the trio for her mistakes.
*The trio convince Alphys to let the amalgamates go and to reveal the truth to the worried families.
*Later, Frisk has a bonding session with a repaired Mettaton, who apologizes to Frisk after the session.

I know I've been neglecting my Tumblr as of late regarding my art, so to remedy that I have decided to dump my newest sans OCS on you and (mostly) all their information :3
Heres pt 2 with Plum and Cypher;)
Enjoy
First up is!
Tumblr media
Cassiopeia, or Cassie for short is the Sans of this universe(which I don't have a name for yet) she is 5'2 and trans.
Her drink of choice is tea! all kinds, she's not picky! She actually is a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to the stuff. And when she wants to treat herself she likes to add condiments to her cup to add a bit of flavor.
Her personality is similar to og sans but she's a lot more elegant in her mannerisms. She's also VERY slow to anger/irritation and even slower to show it. Let's just say, never play poker with her.
She still has 1 hp, and isn't a fan of physical combat. She likes being covert and subdues any treats with the stardust that surrounds her skull. As when inhaled it can give the victim a calming effect or put them into a deep sleep, depending on how much they've puffed. She does also have bones and blasters but rarely needs to use them due to her stardust being so effective.
Instead of being a quantum physics nerd, Cassie is a medical doctor. I'm not sure what specifically but what I do know is that she is very educated on human Bodies and monster souls. She had tried to learn quantum physics when she was younger but it just didn't click with her, she was never a numbers gal.
I like to imagine she's friends with Baggs sans or Wine. For Baggs, I think they would grow close while having deep conversations about their respective jobs and tell stories about all the crazy injuries they've had to deal with. That, and she can use her stardust to put him to sleep, that's my head canon at least. She also likes teasing him about his height, she thinks his reactions are hilarious.
As for Wine, i feel like they like debating each other. Their favorite topic to debate over being what's the better drink, wine or tea. And let me tell ya, it will get very intense. And not in the 'toss a couple chairs at each other' kinda way, more so in the calm on the surface yet internally wishing death upon the other, all in good fun of course. The most hostile thing they'd do to each other is send a passive aggressive yet deeply accurate comment. Sometimes Coffee likes to sit in the corner and listen to them while he draws, it's good background noise.
As for Papyrus or Zephyr,
His personality is a lot like og pap, just more blunt and a lot more willing to initiate a friendly sparring session.
He's kind of a gym junkie, always training out to get stronger. He absolutely LOVES working out and even has weighted plating for his boots, gauntlets, shoulder and knee pads.
Due to his love for sparring, he often gets into friendly brawls with the other members of the royal guard stationed in snowdin, and has beaten every single one. These feats were obviously reported to Undyne. And Undyne, Impressed by his feats, offered Zeph a position in the royal guard. Papyrus obviously was ecstatic, and accepted immediately.
However due to actually getting a position in the royal guard, the rose tinted glasses he'd always held onto have been a bit wiped down due to the actual nature of the guard not being quite what he expected. Still though, he holds out hope for all the fame and recognition he rightfully deserves.
Zephyr is a full on tank when it comes to fighting, he's a heavy hitter and very agile, even with his weighted gear. He mainly uses punches and kicks for precise direct hits but isn't afraid to give his appoint a good knee or elbow to throw them off.
His weapons of choice are brass knuckles, they pack a punch on their own but when he's feeling a bit murdery, he's able to reinforce them with his magic.
Besides training he also loves to paint. Any blank surface you can think of, he's painted on. He's painted his armor, shorts, safety pads, and his own face!
He even paints on lashes to match with Cassie's (which are made of magic). He changes the paint on his face everyday, it's always something new but he seems to favor cloud and sun motifs.
When Zeph isnt training he is always neck deep in a painting project, weather it be one he was working on for several days or a new idea he just made up and really wanted to do. Sometimes he has Cassie help with some of his projects, though she either lazily draws a sick man, or a handprint. Typical lazy sans behavior, it annoys Zeph to no end but he never paints over any additions made
Due to being a Doctor, Cassie is a slight germaphobe(more so in her workplace) but she puts that aside and gets her hands dirty for him
The clouds around his head change with his mood Like pepa from encanto. He can also manipulate them, making the clouds big and fluffy to ride on or catch someone when falling, or even creating fog or mist to act like a smoke screen.
Zephyr's dish of choice is pastries, some witch he lends to Cassie to go with her tea. It's more of a casual thing than something he's passionate about though
Next up is my favorite at the moment! OUTCODE: E770R2095E!! Or Code:E for short! Pronounced Cody ;)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
He his, like his name states, an outcode. However no one really knows where he comes from. Ink's theory is that he was supposed to be an error sans, but something went wrong and now he's just here.
He exists somewhere in the anti-void, no where close to Error, seeing as how he had no idea Code:E existed for the longest time. Having nothing to do with his time, he sits in the anti-void going over codes.
When he's eventually discovered by Error, immediately Error is pissed as he feels Code:E is trying to copy him. And true to his title, he tries to destroy Code:E. However, it didn't quite work out. Every time Error tried attacking, it had always just fazed through him, leaving Code:E completely unbothered. Eventually he finds that Code:E has no soul. Due to this he has no emotions and Error can't check his code, and even if he tried it would be completely an utter gibberish.
Dispite not having any actual emotions, he has this inate want to learn and grow, asking questions about anything and everything. He often gets compared to an AI by Error because of this.
He has no real powers or magic but can copy the code of any sans type just by looking at them, other outcodes included. And when I say copy, I mean copy. With one look he knows all about you, your au, your powers, everything. Usually when this happens his eyes gloss over with static as he lists everything he sees in the code out loud.
Being able to copy code, he is also able to copy the appearance of the sans he sees and even use their magic.
When he can't do something or is just thinking really hard on one thing in particular, Code:E's eyes get staticy and his form glitches a helluva lot more.
He can also create portals to other universes with the pink tear like glitches under his eyes. Though he never uses it, as he never sees the need to. He mostly uses them to observe and learn about the multiverse. He spends most of his time sitting in the little anti-void where he first was created. Just sitting there.
Doing nothing.
All alone.
Well, not totally. Due to Error being a complete drama queen, he often complains about Code:E aloud allowing Ink to overhear. And ink, like the nosy like little shit he is, annoys Error to show him what's got his strings all bundled up. He eventually caved and led Ink to Code:E. And after a pretty disturbing interaction, Ink complains to the star sans' about him. Upon hearing it, Dream, always with the bleeding heart, decides to visit Code:E and announces that they're friends. Code:E doesn't quite understand it, but goes along anyway as Dream teaches him about more aus and how emotions work. Even so, he rarely has time to visit due to his role in the multiverse.
But their is one person who does visit regularly..
And his name is-
Tumblr media
RETRO!! A fellow outcode!
He's a very outgoing and rambunctious spirit, going all around all kinds of AUs to do anything he wants! Weather that be wreaking havoc with pranks or just relaxing under the stars in outertale. However due to his chaotic neutral nature, he often has run-ins with both the star sans' AND the bad sans' usually having to escape in outrageous ways and hide in the anti-void for a few hours.
And during one of his little escapades, into the anti-void he meets Code:E. At first he's startled, especially when Code:E tries copying Retro's code, and can't. Leaving Code:E perplexed and Intrigued as this had never happened with any sans he had seen. He asks all sorts of questions about Retro, some more personal than others, and after giving some non answers Retro asks about Code:E.
Code:E is absolutely floored(as floored as one with no soul can be) as no one had actually asked him anything about what he wanted to do or needed. He told him as such and for some reason, this had hit Retro directly in the soul. He had found it relatable. And so from that moment forward, Retro vowed to be Code:E's friend. He even gave Code:E his nickname. And later, his poncho.
I bet your wondering about the gell I described in the photo, well it's simple really. It's basically the gels from Portal. THATS RIGHT IM UNORIGINAL!! FUCKING SUE ME!! /J
HE ALSO HAS PORTALS HA!
In all seriousness though, yes I did just give him the powers from Portal, and yes he can make actual portals, but these help him travel through aus. The portals are his magic while he made the gel with science. For his portals idk if I want it to only work on white surfaces so that can be up to interpretation
Alright that's all the info I got! Here are the doodles I have that I have no idea where to put! The ones with Cassie and Zeph are a bit old so plz ignore any design inconsistencies!

Underfallen Papyrus!!!
He's just Papyrus but with trauma and a broken skull. He's scared of sharing his interests due to everyone on the Royal Guard bullied him for his optimism. The scar is from Asgore once Papyrus refused to hurt his own brother. He's still a part of the RG, along with his brother. He sets up traps, that actually work well.
Sans still feels like it's his fault that his brother got hurt. Even if it wasn't. He just stuck up for his brother.
Undyne actually trained Pap for the job and is still friends with him! They usually have arm wrestles every Thursday.
No one wins because they're both incredibly strong.

Hi!! If the Papyri are knights what are the Sanses? Also you should totally make an AU of this, you beautiful brain
You have no idea, none of you have any idea how absolutely insane I went about this goofy little one-off AU concept
...Some of you have an idea. And some of you maybe know me well enough to have just guessed I would go off the rails the way I have lol
Anyway, this is the first, but absolutely not the last of The Court AU:
Sans (Undertale): The court jester, in possession of a quick wit and a cutting sense of humor and with no desire to let either go to waste. Hes much beloved at court and prides himself on his ability to make even the stuffiest of courtiers chuckle with his jokes and pranks—and his jester’s privilege makes him nigh untouchable to those who somehow aren’t amused by him. It’s a good life…
Papyrus (Undertale): A proud knight of the kingdom and a member of the Royal Guard! Er…well…eventually, he will be. The Captain won’t make him a full member of the Guard until he’s proven his valor through a series of knightly quests…but she won’t tell him what the quests are, so he travels the kingdom as a knight-errant, helping those in need and solving problems that may or may not have needed solving! You’re welcome, good citizens!
Sky (Underswap Sans): A squire, or knight-in-training, attendant to the Captain of the Guard until he properly earns his own knighthood. …Frankly, he’s already capable and qualified to be a knight now, but he’s aware that the Captain has some reservations regarding his health and is hesitating to just give him the job because of it. He fully intends to prove himself to her in the line of active duty, and someday be recognized as a fully-fledged knight of the realm.
Paps (Underswap Papyrus): The court archivist, most at home amidst shelves of tomes and records and far away from the social obligations of the court itself. He tracks and preserves all kind of documents, from agricultural reports to genealogies to romantic poetry, and is on call to locate specific texts for any nobles or otherwise literate folks seeking to reference them. It gets a bit musty sometimes but he wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Jasper (Underfell Sans): A mercenary, traveling the kingdom in search of people to sell his sword to for a bit of coin—and then traveling in search of satisfying ways to spend that coin. He does occasionally venture outside the kingdom for both of these things, but he has quite a few connections to well-paying opportunities within the borders, so as much as he avoids putting down roots, he tends not to stray too far from ‘home.’
Pyre (Underfell Papyrus): A knight in the Royal Guard, touted as a black knight for the scorched and stained armor he wears—a marker of the many deadly, heroic feats he’s conquered. No quest is too dangerous, no enemy too great for him to overcome, and he bravely takes on what lesser knights fear to risk. He’s quite accomplished dealing with dragons, and wildfires, and even mages, who always seem to cast fireballs and…well, perhaps that’s the reason his armor is so blackened…
Mal (Swapfell Sans): Personal guard to the Empress herself, nominally part of the Royal Guard as well but far from the front-lines of battle as his duty to her highness’ safety comes first and foremost. He’s involved in a lot of the structuring and scheduling of patrols for the lower ranking guardsmen, and his opinion is often sought in matters of state and military, but his primary concern is accompanying the Empress wherever she goes, or standing post just outside the door. Only on rare occasions does anyone else fill his role, and that’s just the way he likes it.
Rus (Swapfell Papyrus): He’s a nobleman who used his wealth and free time to pursue a passion in painting. His passion paid off in the form of a bit of notoriety for his work and several offers of patronage from other nobility seeking portraits and frescoes and the like done in his hand. …Or as he sees it, rich people paying him to do what he loves instead of some sort of actual job. As long as he can comfortably afford his paints, he’s happy.
Slate (Horrortale Sans): He’s a stableman at the queen’s castle, looking after the horses and hunting dogs kept there. He isn’t as quick as he used to be, and his memory hasn’t been the same since his head injury, but he was graciously employed elsewhere rather than dismissed and it’s…fine. Well enough, at least. It’s dirty and often thankless work, but he is fond of the animals, and much prefers their company to anyone else.
Papy (Horrortale Papyrus): He’s a medic in service to the knights of the Royal Guard. He actually used to be among their number…sort of…but there were some changes, in his life, and his eye-sight isn’t really what it used to be anyway, and… Well! He spent some time learning from the court physician and got very interested in ways to treat illness and injury. He’s not as skilled and knowledgeable as a full-fledged healer but he’s happily on hand for minor training accidents and sicknesses or injuries in those coming back from patrols. He loves to be able to help!
Ash (Undergloom Sans): A musician who plays his trusty horn for the court during all the feasts and festivals. He’s only one player of many but enough of a talent to be selected for the job and pleased that his music should entertain the king and queen and all their noble guests. It’s not the most glorious of positions but he’s happy enough doing it and lives well for his station.
Yrus (Undergloom Papyrus): Head cook in the castle kitchens, a station he worked up to from the bottom as a lowly kitchen boy. He has a lot of experience making meals for the royal couple and for all the nobles that regularly attend court gatherings and he knows how to give the people what they want. There are several other cooks and kitchen attendants that work with him but it’s his job to make decisions and keep everything running smoothly, which keeps him busy but happily so.
Brick (Horrorfell Sans): He sticks exclusively to the royal court these days, not as a hired sword but as a wealthy and rakish duke of the kingdom. His brother gave him the title and it’d be stupid not to take advantage of the perks—though he does have to earn them. He’s less a hired sword now and more a hired axe, performing the duty of the royal executioner whenever he’s called upon to do so. No need to wear a hood, everyone knows who he is and what he does to enemies of the crown.
King (Horrorfell Papyrus): The king of the castle, in a very literal sense. Some may call him a usurper or a traitor to the crown to have seized the throne for himself without proper claim… and for those people he arranges a meeting between their necks and his brother’s blade. He seized the throne because he’s loyal to the crown and the queen he deposed was wearing it quite poorly. If he could, he would’ve stepped down by now and given way to the true queen, but the people have been through enough upheaval—so he will remain as their king, as long as is necessary.
Merc (Horrorswap Sans): A cursed king who lives an austere, lonely life in a desolate castle by the sea. He fled from his true realm in disgrace and now awaits an end to his curse or his shame—whichever comes first—in the ruins of a fallen kingdom as degraded as he is. He doesn’t expect to be found, or saved from the curse that his own choices wrought upon him, and just tries to bear his fate with the grace expected of him.
Ell (Horrorswap Papyrus): Prince-errant of his kingdom, meant to be ruling his people but instead gallivanting off across the countryside in search of his missing brother. He wants to find him and know he’s well about as much as he doesn’t want to go back and be the ruler of a kingdom, for which he was never properly trained and is wholly unprepared! Maybe in his search and his hardships, he can find the strength and maturity to do what the kingdom needs him to do…but he’s not there yet, and finding his brother is his priority.
Pitch (Horrorswapfell Sans): Every knight in the Royal Guard is hand-picked and trained by him. He held a high office among the guardsmen once, but a severe injury put him out of commission and without his sight, he was no longer fighting fit, as they say. Still, his strength and his skill didn’t abandon him and while he could be a liability on the battlefield, he’s nothing less than a powerful asset when it comes to training the knights up to his own exacting standards. Only the best make it through his gauntlet.
Nemo (Horrorswapfell Papyrus): He walks the wall of the castle at night, standing guard for any threats to the kingdom that might otherwise go unseen. He takes his duty very seriously and refuses to let any night pass without a watchman on duty, even in foul weather or nights of great feasts and festivals. His vigilance has protected the kingdom from many a threat and he feels certain that his job is of much higher importance than any frivolous pastimes he absorbed himself in before.
Sunny (Gastertale Sans): A courtier of…mysterious origin. He’s often at court, making conversation and telling colorful stories to anyone whose ear he can snatch—and he manages to snatch quite a few—but no one can manage to figure out quite where he came from or what he ought to be doing. Mostly, he entertains himself and others with various leisurely pursuits, games, hunts, dances, songs, and as such he’s a well-liked person at court…wherever he came from.
Aster (Gastertale Papyrus): Another man of mystery who appeared at court on the heels of his brother, though far less flamboyantly. He’s obviously a learned man, well-educated and well-spoken, and though he wasn’t as warmly embraced by the courtiers at large, he was eventually welcomed into the king’s confidence as a royal advisor. The backing of the king being what it is, he’s accepted and respected as probably some sort of nobleman, regardless of his unclear origin, and continues to advise the king on matters of state.
Spectr (Transcendtale Sans): A wanderer, uprooted from his life and former kingdom and left to walk the land in search of meaning. Some say his kingdom was destroyed but for a small handful of survivors. Some say he turned to dark magic and sold his soul for the chance. to take revenge on the one who desolated his home. Some say he’s ageless, bones turned to cold iron and chest empty of breath to contain the power he now holds. …They’re all right. But his quest is long over, and all that’s left to do now is wander.
PapAIrus (Transcendtale Papyrus): He’s a proud knight of the kingdom! He may not have been in the Royal Guard when he was tragically cut down before his time, but he did come back from death as a ghostly semblance of himself at the same time everyone else did—and when your Captain is no longer worried that you might get yourself killed in battle because you already did, promotions are in order! So, he now serves his phantom kingdom as a phantom knight, valiantly and eagerly, but of course, taking time every now and then to visit his (mostly) living family member, to keep him from brooding too hard.
Xanth (Ascendswap Sans): It’s…slightly unclear what he does. He’s seemed strange for a time, a bit touched, but the queen seems to hold him in high esteem and never fails to consult him (among others) before any major decisions are made. Sometimes he’ll appear in unusual places with cryptic messages, or look into peoples’ eyes and divine their intentions (should they be ill ones), and for all this, though he holds no specific title, he’s at least informally called the court mystic. There are rumors that his strangeness and that of those closest to him is because he made contact and some sort of bargain with the faefolk…but those are surely just rumors.
Piper (Ascendswap Papyrus): The royal falconer, primary trainer, keeper, and handler of all the hawks and falcons owned by the queen. It wasn’t a job he was born into, but one he sought out of the blue one day, and he earned his way by demonstrating a remarkable affinity for the birds even prior to any training. By now he’s a figure of great respect for the command he has over the flighted beasts, and he happily demonstrates it during the queen’s feasts and king’s hunts.
Carmine (Underfell Fruition Sans): He’s earned his way at court with talent, performing dazzling displays of bullets and other magic for nobles and royals alike. He’s a standout from other such entertainers in that his well of magic never seems to run dry and he can keep showing off his juggling and his light shows and his dancing bullets from sun-up to sun-down without ever tiring. He doesn’t talk much about his life before coming to court, but he’s happy now so it’s just as well.
Tank (Underfell Fruition Papyrus): He was trained from a very young age to be a soldier, a paladin meant to fight in a holy war and raised to believe his greatest purpose was to die on the battlefield and bring glory to the cause. That all…never happened. He was freed from the grip of the zealots and reunited with the brother he hadn’t seen in ages, but then left at odds for what to do now—a warrior with no war to fight. Eventually he becomes apprenticed to a carpenter in town in the hopes of learning a trade to live on, and…he’s starting to be content.
Vi (Swapfell Fruition Sans): Spymaster to the crown, head of a small network of covert informants, assassins, thieves and the rest of their ilk. It was a career he…inherited…but also one he carried out diligently, carefully, and above all, secretly. At least, until his brother married and he left to join him in his new kingdom, where he serves much the same function at court—with the added responsibility of wrangling and occasionally nominally filling in for the crown prince. All according to plan.
Hunter (Swapfell Fruition Papyrus): He was in the same family business as his brother, but when he caught the eye of a visiting monarch and won an invitation to their kingdom, to marry, well… how could he refuse? And when, after an unsuspicious amount of time, his spouse is found dead under mysterious—but not too mysterious—circumstances, and no one from the proper line of succession seems to be coming to take their place… He really has no choice but to go from the prince consort to the crown prince, for the sake of his late spouse’s people. He’s far from a proper or responsible prince, and certainly has some kind of reputation, but he’s pleased enough with how everything’s going.
Kohl (Descendtale Sans): He minds the royal dungeons. It’s not what he started out doing, but somewhere along the way he lost the humor for anything else, and it’s as good a job as any. Not too many strangers make it into the kingdom these days, but plenty have foul intentions and it is something he takes some pride in, keeping watch over those ill-meaning outsiders and making sure they stay put, where they belong. He’s not the kindest of dungeon-keepers, but quite frankly, since when was ‘kindness’ part of that job description?
Bram (Descendtale Papyrus): His brother keeps the dungeon and he keeps the grounds. While a groundskeeper isn’t anything close to what he thought he’d want to be, a lot has happened—to him personally and to the kingdom as a whole—and well, he’s providing a very valuable service with his work, humble though it may be. Anyone with skin would have a horrid time pruning back all the wicked, cursed thorns that keep trying to consume the realm, and unchecked, they could probably run wild in less than a fortnight, where would they all be if he let that happen?

This is something I’ve had in my mind for a while but I may I ask if the skelebros of different aus were to give their S/O a hug from behind but accidentally scare them instead and get absolutely uppercuted in the jaw because their S/O has a fight not a flight response- preferably no gender specific pronouns  for S/O if that’s okay ;w;
Undertale Sans - He panic dodges the attack by teleporting two inches on your right. Damn. He didn't expect you to fight this early in the morning. He sheepishly apologized for scaring you. He didn't mean it. Now he's warning you by making some noise when he does this.
Undertale Papyrus - He falls on his butt, surprised. He's not hurt, he has tough bones, but still, that was something. You know you could enter the Royal Guard with a punch like that? He can train you to use it on Undyne if you really want to hit something.
Underswap Sans - He instinctively stops your arm and pins it behind your back like he's going to arrest you. Uh... He didn't mean to do that, you spooked him just as well. He thought he was at his job. You decide both to not talk again about what just happened.
Underswap Papyrus - He falls on the floor like a dead sea star, in shock. He dramatically stares at the ceiling for long minutes, before looking at you like a kicked puppy. Why? He didn't do anything! That hurts! :(
Underfell Sans - He dodges by moving his head out of the way and then angrily pushes you onto the floor. The hell is your problem? Ya're trying to hurt him or something? He's already not a big fan of hugs but like hell you're having another one if you treat him like this.
Underfell Papyrus - He has a fight response to your fight response. He grabs your arm, makes you fly above his head, and slams you on the floor. He then gasps in shock when he realizes what he just did and panically apologizes to you, trying to make you stand on your legs. You scared him, he's sorry!
Horrortale Sans - He quickly backs away, hisses at you, and then leaves to pout in a corner. He doesn't want to talk to you the rest of the afternoon lol. You hurt his feelings, now he's mad. You better bake him a cake to apologize.
Horrortale Papyrus - He stops your hand in his huge hand with ease before you can land a hit on him. He stares in shock but quickly lets you go. You are glad you didn't hit him but also terrified because you just realized he could easily crush your whole arm if he really wanted to. Willow tries to warn when he wants a hug after that.
Swapfell Sans - He gasps as you hit him, offended. The hell?! You dare to hit him? You dare to hurt him! Scandalous! He's leaving the room, gasping at you. Then you hear him gasp on the stairs. And then in his room. He can't believe it! You can tell he's dramatic. You barely touched him lol.
Swapfell Papyrus - He high-pitched screams as you suddenly punch him in the face. He falls on his back, feeling a bit dizzy. Damn, that was something. Maybe put a little less force in the hit next time. He sees everything in double for a few minutes, half knocked out.
Fellswap Gold Sans - He stares at you, shocked, then puts a hand on his hurting cheekbones. He then growls at you, makes your soul blue, and yeets you through the living room, before going to pout on the couch, falsely upset. Nope, he doesn't regret one second doing that.
Fellswap Gold Papyrus - He whimpers, then looks down like a child. He looks at you with sad eyes, wondering what he did wrong. You feel so so guilty right now. So guilty that you're going to come to bed to cuddle with him for two hours without complaining. As soon as you're in bed, Coffee goes back to normal. That's when you realize you actually didn't hurt him at all and that he tricked you.

Behold! My child!
Tumblr media
His name is Nox, because his au is named Denoxtale. [Im still working on his name. Cuz i haven't touched the au in like 2 years or so.]
Denox has no special meaning here, I took it from a napkin stand that said Dixie.
Info: [wip]
25 years old
Male
goes by he/him
Is 5"6
Has a mystery illness that weakens him. He's always a bit chilly which is why he wears his scarf and wool socks. The illness isn't contagious and cannot spread to other monsters or humans. The effects of the illness are; slow movement, tiredness, low HP, and drowsiness.
The illness affected him when he was 19 years old
Nox used to be in the royal guard and was one of the most powerful guards. But he still keeps in touch with the royals guards (mostly Undyne). Papyrus is being trained by Undyne under Nox's request.
No canon sexuality yet. You guys can ship him with your ocs and such! But please, no proshipping. DO NOT SHIP HIM WITH A MINOR!! You are free to tag me in fanart of him!
He's a chill person who won't be the one to initiate a fight.
Both him and papyrus were adopted by Gaster
The marks on his face have no meaning (yet)
Some doodles under the cut! And new character that just existed a week ago-

Unfinished sketch of Nox and Revamped Koid (Now called Dalisto) first interaction. Dalisto has healing powers and when they first found Nox they offered to heal him and perhaps lessen the effects of the illness. It does work and now they stick together and travel to different universes.
Dalisto info:
As seen in the sketch above, they have an "infection" on their left arm. This is a slight reference to Koid who was the child of a hybrid between a skeleton and a monster bird.
Dalisto has deja vu moments when some things seem familar to them. They can't figure out why and roll with it.
Dalisto has two different personality's, kind and chill and murder.
Their face is covered by a 'cloud' of black smoke? lines? idk. It only covers the top part so their mouth is still visible
Pansexual
Stands at 6"2'.
Just popped into existence one day.
Neutral. Does whatever they want whether it'll harm them or benefit them
Their healing magic can also regenerate lost limbs and heals souls on the brink of death. If the the soul has vanished they will not be able to bring it back to life.

Desert Sanctuary AU pt.2
Due to how many people liked this idea, I decided to develop it further. Here are the roles for the rest of Yellow's main cast as well as the cast of the original game.
UTY:
Feisty Four: Special Forces.
After the Sanctuary was established, Starlo told his friends that they would no longer be 'playing around' and that things were about to get very dangerous. He told them they were allowed to back out at any time they wished. They refused.
They are now essentially Starlo's five-star generals, in charge of training and leading new recruits. They each also have unique roles, important to the security of the Sanctuary.
Ed - He's Clover's primary bodyguard. Whenever the only human in the Underground is out in the open, Ed is almost always the one to accompany him.
Moray - They oversee the prisoners. Prisoners may include mercenaries sent to assassinate Clover, extremists, general law breakers etc. They are basically the warden and treat their prisoners fairly. However, it's been noted that those who attempted to kill Clover received slightly less food.
Ace - Head of investigations. He's the one who finds patterns in places patterns shouldn't exist. Uses his playing cards in his conspiracy boards because Clover told him about a character in a TV Show who did that and he liked the idea.
Mooch - Reconasince and Scavenging. The Dunes aren't all that plentiful in terms of natural resources. That is where Mooch's kleptomania comes in handy. She leads teams into the Greater Underground to gather materials they can't trade for and generally nobody would miss. She also steals information, using her innocent appearance and small size to get people to tell her things or find her way into their darkest closets. She sees the Lab as her greatest challenge.
Dalv: Scholar
He still lives in Snowdin and tries to avoid the conflict. This doesn't mean he's not doing his part. He, like many people on both sides, doesn't want these tensions to spiral into something everyone would regret. So he spends his time shifting through history books, diaries, personal recounts and human myths and legends to figure out exactly what happened during the Human-Monster War.
Original Game
Toriel: Caretaker of the Ruins
Her role hasn't changed from the original game. She heard about the movement and has made contact with them. However, she remains in the Ruins take act as the the first line of protection for any human that falls. After all, the Sanctuary is far from the main path.
Flowey: Observer.
When he realised that Clover wouldn't be going to the castle, he was furious. He believed that this timeline was another dud. However, he had the patience to wait, perhaps because of something Clover said under that Cherry Blossom tree. He realised that this 'Cold Civil War' was the most interesting thing to ever happen in the Underground, and has only ever Reset to save Clover from an assassin. He also believes this conflict to be the key to him getting the souls.
Sans: Royal Judge
Sans doesn't change much from the original game either. He doesn't really care about the conflict. Although, due to his promise to Toriel, he would point any human that leaves the Ruins in the direction of either Martlet or the Dunes.
Asgore had sent him to the Dunes a handful of times to 'judge' the residents. He always comes back with good things to say. He never mentioned the anger buried deep inside Clover's soul.
Papyrus: Member of the Royal Guard.
Due to rising tensions between the two sides, Undyne decided to recruit Papyrus into the Guard because of the increased need for soldiers. He's still a loveable goofball but now takes his role much more seriously. Has a close friendship with Martlet. Capable of killing Frisk depending on the route.
Undyne: Captain of the Royal Guard.
She is much more aggressive than in the original game and is the primary reason the two sides haven't made peace yet. Her anti-human views are stronger than ever she sees the Monsters in the Sanctuary as traitors and has compared them to a cult. Wants nothing more than to skewer Clover. The only thing holding her back is her dwindling respect for Asgore and Gerson's warning.
"Men like Clover can be an ally just as easily as an enemy. The key is not giving them a reason to see you as an enemy. You do NOT want to be their enemy."
Alphys: Royal Scientist.
She is not having a good time. She's under more pressure than ever, is watching Undyne slowly destroy herself and has blackmail hanging over her head. Martlet doesn't know everything in the True Lab but she has seen enough to make people ask questions. Ceroba used this knowledge to get Alphys to provide the Sanctuary with the minimal resources to sustain itself.
Mettaton: Entertainment Robot and Wild Card.
Mettaton isn't aligned with either side and is surprisingly neutral when reporting the conflict. He doesn't want humanity to be destroyed but also sees Clover and his allies as a threat to his own agendas. Has sent multiple mercenaries to collect Clover's Soul.
Muffet: Head of the Spider Colony.
Let's be clear. No one likes her, at least as an ally. Everyone knows that the moment you trust her with something she'll sell it to the enemy.
Asgore: Tired King.
Asgore is probably the only one having a worse time than Alphys. He wants this conflict to end. He doesn't want to watch his people tear each other apart. He truly believes that the Sanctuary is in the right. But he can't bring himself to surrender. There are still so many Monsters who genuinely believe in what he is doing and believe that giving in to the Sanctuary's demands would escalate the conflict further. He is too tired to give any grand speeches or to confront his mistakes properly.
After the first diplomatic meeting, he told Clover, "I should have taken back what I said that night immediately, no matter how many people cheered."
