Rush Limbaugh, the all-seeing, all-sensing, all-knowing maha-Rushie, passed away two years ago today. At the risk of triggering some of you, a commemoration with a couple of his quotes seems appropriate:

”Now, what is the left’s worldview in general? What is it? If you had to attach not a philosophy but an attitude to a leftist worldview, it’s one of pessimism and darkness, sadness. They’re never happy, are they? They’re always angry about something. No matter what they get, they’re always angry.”

”You know why there’s a Second Amendment? In case the government fails to follow the first one.”

Maybe you lefties oughta keep that last one in mind as you’re rushing to get posts like this one censored.

Now some of you are undoubtedly upset. Tough. Sometimes the world sucks and you don’t get your way. That’s one of the challenges that makes the struggle that is life worth the fight. Maybe you ought to ask yourselves why another person’s opinion is so threatening to you. If you weren’t so dependent on others for your sense of self-worth would it be so?

Oh, yeah…and this post is also for those of you who keep emailing anonymously (and vulgarly) to tell me to shut up or keep my opinions to myself. This is my periodic “fuck you” to let you know I neither need nor want your approval.
