I love Norilsk. I love this harsh climate. I love this nature. And I really love people which I met there.

My old non animatronic art project, called "the birds of Russia". I drew one bird a day for a week. Those are finch, waxwing, goldfinch, jackdaw, starling, kingfisher and hoopoe. There is a mith about russian nature being poor and boring, so I made this project to show, that the are a lot of really beautiful creatures you can meet all over the country

People speak sometimes about the "bestial" cruelty of man, but that is terribly unjust and offensive to beasts, no animal could ever be so cruel as a man, so artfully, so artistically cruel.
Fyodor Dostoevsky
