Ryosuke Katayama: Hogwarts AU

Ryosuke Katayama is a muggleborn wizard that was born on the 28th of March 1980 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1991, being sorted into Ravenclaw house.

Unlike other muggleborns, he was actually aware of the wizarding world beforehand thanks to his best friend Tomohiro Ohkawa who told him the truth when he noticed his accidental magic early on.

Before starting at Hogwarts, they experimented with Mrs. Ohkawa's wand to make sure that they could continue to play their video games even after starting at Hogwarts, so that their games could be played in the castle as well.

When they started at Hogwarts, they were pretty disappointed when they weren't sorted into the same house but they still remained best friends throughout their years at Hogwarts with Ryosuke often protecting Tomohiro from bullies.

They eventually meet and befriended Kensuke Kurosaki, Tohko Kirisaki, Mitsuki Yamamoto, Emi Urabe, Kai Shimada and Masato Fukuroi, with the six of them being the first friends that the two befriended outside of themselves.

They eventually joined Makarov's Army together with their friends as well which gave the two more friends as well.

Right before their seventh year, Ryosuke was forced to go on the run due to his muggleborn status but Tomohiro followed him due to his fear of losing him.

They were eventually informed about the Battle of Hogwarts from their M.A coins and after a few moments of hesitation, they decided to return to Hogwarts to fight for their friends and loved ones.

Things quickly went wrong however when Ryosuke badly injured his leg early on in the battle, making him unable to fight.

He eventually sacrificed himself to save Tomohiro from their classmate Yuuya Kizami who pushed him down the grandstaircase, which caused him to break his neck and lose his life in the process.

This event is what eventually led to Tomohiro trying to avenge him by taking down Yuuya himself which caused him to lose his life as well.

He had a beech wand with a unicorn hair core.

His Patronus was a Kingfisher.

His favorite subjects were Charms and Potions.

His least favorite subjects were Herbology and Astronomy.

A random thought, if the Beyblade Burst peeps were in a Corpse Party style situation, who from that series would they most be like. Kyoko Kagawa in Mother (Mikio Naruse, 1952) Cast: Kinuyo Tanaka, Kyoko Kagawa, Eiji Okada, Masao Mishima, Akihiko Katayama, Keiko Enami, Daisuke Kato, Takashi Ito, Chieko Nakakita. Screenplay: Yoko Mizuki. Cinematography: Hiroshi Suzuki. Music: Ichiro Saito Mutatis mutandis, Mikio Naruse's Mother could almost have been a 1950s Hollywood family drama starring Irene Dunne or Myrna Loy in the title role: a woman struggling to help her family survive difficult times. Of course, the necessary change would be that of setting: Mother is very much a portrait of lower middle class Japan in the immediate postwar years. Masako Fukuhara (Kinuyo Tanaka) is not just trying to feed her family but also struggling with the effects of the war, including disease -- the death of her only son from tuberculosis -- and crippling loss -- she and her husband, Ryosuke (Masao Mishima), take in her sister Noriko's little boy, Tetsuo (Takashi Ito), after Noriko (Chieko Nakakita) returns from Manchuria, where her husband was killed. Masako's struggle gets worse after Ryosuke works himself to death reestablishing the family's laundry business. Fortunately, there is Uncle Kimura (Daisuke Kato), who had been a prisoner of war in Russia, to help out in the laundry, but Masako still has to raise her teenage daughter, Toshiko (Kyoko Kagawa), as well as her younger daughter, Hisako, called Chako (Keiko Enami). What links Mother to the Hollywood films is some sentimental melodrama, a characteristic not usually ascribed to Naruse's work, and some rather conventional comic relief, such as the scene in which Toshiko's boyfriend, Shinjiro (Eiji Okada), sees her dressed as a bride and thinks she's marrying someone else, when in fact she's modeling for Noriko, who is trying to make it as a hair stylist. Fortunately, Naruse knows how to work against sentimentality and convention with some distancing tricks. In mid-film we are suddenly presented with a title card that says "The End" in Japanese -- a moment that actually made me reach for the remote to see if the screening service had somehow skipped to the end. It turns out to be the end title for a movie that Toshiko and her friends have gone to see -- a weepie that has left them in the tears guaranteed by its advertising. It also helps that Mother has the extraordinary Tanaka and Kagawa playing mother and daughter -- a relationship they would repeat in Kenji Mizoguchi's Sansho the Bailiff (1954). It's also interesting to see Okada as Shinjiro, one of his early performances, before he achieved international fame in Hiroshima Mon Amour (Alain Resnais, 1959) and Woman in the Dunes (Hiroshi Teshigahara, 1964).

Chihiro Fujisaki: Hogwarts AU

Chihiro Fujisaki is a half-blood wizard that was born on the 14th of March 1980 and started attending Hogwarts on the 1st of September 1991, being sorted into Ravenclaw house.

His parents divorced when he was very young and he was left in the custody of his muggle father since he hadn't showed any signs of magic by that age unlike his twin sister who was raised by their mother who was a witch.

He was heavily bullied as a kid because he was considered weak which eventually caused him and his father to move with Chihiro also starting to dress like a girl to avoid the bullying but that just hurt him even more, but this time from the inside.

When he got his Hogwarts acceptance letter, he decided to finally stop dressing as a girl and start over at Hogwarts where he and his sister became close again, even with the two being in seperate houses.

He also befriended the Gryffindor Mondo Owada and the Hufflepuff Kiyotaka Ishimaru, who became like a pair of big brothers to him.

He eventually became a member of Makarov's Army together his his sister and his two friends where he was revealed to be quite a good at duelling but due to his kindness, it took him a while to reveal that since he didn't want to hurt anyone at first.

He and his sister eventually managed to learn the spell that Ryosuke Katayama and Tomohiro Ohkawa had created so they could play video games even at Hogwarts which caused the twins and a fellow Ravenclaw named Kenma, who was a year over them, to become quite good friends.

In his seventh year, he was forced to go on the run because the ministry believed him to be muggleborn and that the blood-traitor family Nanami was lying about him and Chiaki being twins.

Mondo and Kiyotaka decided to skip their last year at Hogwarts to go with him, due to not wanting anything to happen to him while on the run.

Unbeknownst to Chihiro, his father was eventually found and heavily tortured by Death Eaters before he was left for death but since he was never found, it is still unknown whether he survived or not.

He eventually returned to Hogwarts to participate in the Battle of Hogwarts where he was eventually killed by an Imperius controlled Mondo.

He has a fir wand with a unicorn hair core.

His Patronus is a Hedgehog.

His favorite subjects are Charms and Care of Magical Creatures.

His least favorite subjects are Potions and Defense Against the Dark Arts.
