Link Winters has been such a unique and compelling character to watch. Even though I’m new here, I have yet to see a character like him in the server.

The sense of moving to a different city without knowing anyone. Local people not interacting with you- because why would they? They want to be interacting with someone that knows them. Not some random new guy that doesn’t really know how the city works or what to do with his life. It’s not inherently done on purpose, either. People will instinctually gravitate towards people they know rather than people they’ve just met or put-together people, and I’m not preaching anything here this is common knowledge.

And the hurt that comes from that. Calling your friend and them not remembering your name because they didn’t save your contact. Messages left on read. Having someone turn on you for defending yourself against their shitty friend. Everyone taking their side because they’ve known them longer. Not knowing who to turn to and it is so damn isolating. But that’s so fucking compelling!

Having that one person you hold onto because they love you and you love them. But they’re moving on from what happened. They’re starting to heal. Because they’ve gotten closure.

You haven’t gotten closure. No one apologized to you. No one checked up with you after what happened. You’re forced to sit in silence to think about what happened. To think about the things they screamed in your face. The insults, gossip, misunderstandings. Your friends.

All those memories of laughing at stupid jokes, working together, sharing stories, hanging out.

To think about how you still love your friends so fucking much.

Losing your grip on reality as the isolation gets to you. Not knowing whether to scream and cry at their faces or to ask them what you did wrong. Or maybe both. Or maybe beg for their forgiveness. Even then, they’ve already moved on.

A character not abandoned but forgotten by their friends. Not just because of an argument, but from just… indifference? Holy god dude.

Ok as a new year thing i will remake a old post of mine that had some new notes these last few days.

People are so obsessed with diagnosis of mental illnesses and disorders when, in the actual real world, those things are a real chore to get because of all the variables.

You could get a doctor who simply will ignore your concerns and make some different things up about you in their head. There are some doctors who will simply not give you a diagnosis because of your skin color, because of your gender, or because of your age. Most of the stuff that you can find about autism is about kids and almost nothing about adults, which is super strange because it seems like they think that the autistic kids just.. grow out of it or something? Also the fact that it was thought for some time that black kids could get autism and that have been disproven, but still affects the diagnosis to this day?

The fact is that diagnosis is so difficult of a thing to get, either because of diagnosis bias, or because of inaccessibility because of poverty. I live in Brazil and the cost for a psychiatrist is so much for a few sessions (i think that is a world wide problem actually).

Also the way people boild things down to only autism and adhd as if that its the only mental disorders that exist is very wrong.

When people self diagnosis, they are not wanting your attention or pity. They are seeing a pattern that they want to know why it happens. And the diagnosis is a way to know it, but because of the aforementioned reasons, it is super hard to get a proper diagnosis to get people to accommodate to you (which should happen even if you don't happen to have any mental disorders. You should get the accommodations even if you dont have any clinical reason for it) so most people only get fucked hard. It sucks

Inktober 3, Path

Undergrowth Daemons Small and energetic faun-like spirits, always accompanied by a small insect made of their own energy and is essentially part of them. Very playful, they love to find playmates and so love pestering travelers passing through the forests. They mean well but get often distracted, and so when trying to help lost travelers find the right path they often unintentionally send them deeper into the woods. Druids are always aware of their presence, since they're a sign of good forest health and absence of evil spirits.

I'm entirely convinced this one worsened a bit after being inked (the left daemon looks deranged?) but eh, could do worse and finished is better than perfect! Onto the next one! On a side note, i love how these little guys became sort of a goat-rabbit-monkey hybrid.

Updated Senze's face. Half to visually separate him from Sans, and half because this new face clicked so thoroughly that he looks wrong without it. Add onto that the fact that one of his dogs has the same face, and you can see why this had to be a thing.
