neuvillette's lore is actually insane. we all took one look at him and went "haha dragon🫵" but i significantly underestimated how big of a role he would play. he's the incarnation of the original hydro sovereign. he took back his rule right under the heavenly principles' nose. he's the one handing out hydro visions now (not even because he has to, he doesn't, he just grew so fond of humanity that he chooses to). he gave away the hydro gnosis bc he straight up doesn't need it. he's planning to DETHRONE ALL OF THE ARCHONS (in a few hundred years, when the traveler's not around to see it, so it won't be awkward for them). he's kind and soft-spoken. he's full of vengeful rage. he's a father to hundreds. he found his purpose after feeling lost for 500 years. skirk pulled him aside for a super-secret convo and when he saw us again he immediately spilled the tea. as far as i can tell, he spawned into existence fully formed. no other character can fucking compare

Every time I have a day at the neuro clinic I have sooo many stories for u guys like I really had to go out of my way today not to spam the dash w how this one visit went. So much tea

#This patient was diagnosed w FTD since 2013 but it makes no sense bc most cases see a life expectancy of 2 years since the diagnosis #And the neurologist I shadow was telling me how the patient and his wife have a “troubled marriage” & she can’t tell how much of it is her #Ranting and how much of it is actually pathological. Potentially a misdiagnosis which is insane #A stark difference from the first case I saw where the FTD patient was a heart surgeon diagnosed in October #And he had a rapid decline since then :( #Also my neurologist is so smart like she could tell from very simple cognitive tests if the dementia is FTD or is from other areas #Of the brain #I watched in awe today while she looked over a couple of memorization exercises and just casually listed diff parts of the brain #Im actually so in love w her rn #She’s also rly funny #This is my goal in life I want to be her one day

Lisa, Angus's mom, as well as Sam Levinson and Zendaya were interviewed by a reporter at People and the article is intense but honestly enlightening and also heartbreaking at the same time.

I felt my heart break into many pieces while reading it (sobbing more like it), hearing his mother talk about her son, and also address some things face on rather than brushing them under the rug.

I am so grateful his mother did this article and allowed us the chance to enter into her own grieving process, give us answers straight on (even though she did NOT have to), and also just help us understand and become empathetic to those struggling. Especially those who turn to drugs for pain relief.
