I can’t believe this is a real plot. (I actually can. This IS supernatural) the………..the recap they do before every episode to prepare you for things you might see was WILD. Like, just a charcuterie board of all the most batshit zany episodes they’ve done SO FAR

So what’s up with these people’s eyes? Heyyyyy, don’t you feel like an asshole now, Dean. It IS a medical condition (though not simply blindness) that necessitates them wearing sunglasses at all times. The snake-y guy from the first five minutes did that to them

It was an extremely long day so have really old OCs I posted like... once before and didn’t talk much about.

There’s a girl with a crush on the blonde guy, makes him a love potion, he drinks it right as the guy with black hair trips and immediately grabs the blonde’s attention. And the love potion is like “whoever meets your gaze first” type thing and the black haired guy is horrified he just interrupted blondie who is The Most Popular guy in school pretty much and they just stare for a second and then the blonde guy acts head over heel for him. And the girl confronts the black haired guy for RUINING HER LIFE and so he’s just “oh that explains a lot”. And then tries to avoid the blonde guy and fails miserably.

Also the black haired guy is cursed and unless he lifts it he’s going to die at 18 so he’s already depressed and withdrawn and then he gets this weird guy in love with him on accident and he likes the attention but knows it won’t last and he’s not worth it.

How I feel about this character

OK, so when I first read Good Omens as a kid.... I was absolutely obsessed and fixated on Aziraphale. I think he may have been my first gay book-loving icon in my life. Aziraphale is and always will be MY FAVE good omens character.

Crowley. I mean yeah, I’m not strict about headcanons here, so both of them can sleep around as much as anyone wants, but we all know Crowley is the bae.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I love the idea of a friendship with Aziraphale and Madame Tracey and all the fun that could erupt from that. Esp if she’s calming down from her wild fetishy sex days and he’s JUST GETTING INTO IT. Come on...

My unpopular opinion about this character

Can there be unpopular opinions about a genderless powerful super awesome amazing angel??  Just don’t make any version skinny. I will write you out of my will.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

Uhhhhhhhhhhhh I guess in the show some rampant ‘My Dear’s woulda been nice but honestly I can’t complain. We were provided some quality gay shit and I’m not a gatekeeper for this fandom. We got some very quality shit here in the book and the show.

*ZOOMS IN ON HEELIES* WHAT'S UP GUYS, MORE GOOSEBUMPS??? I HAVE MORE GOOSEBUMPS

Soooo like, magic, am I right? There's Some Of That in these movies and basically uhhhhhhhhhhhh here's my theory (or part of it, at least): the monsters in the books have varying levels of sentience depending on how much character development they've had in (and outside of, but I'll go more into that later shhh) the books and ALSO how !any books they're in. Which,,, sort of makes sense because generally speaking more books = more character development but idkidk just hear me out

A lot of the monsters weren't really intended to have much of a personality and the vast majority of them seem pretty mindless. Like, you can tell in the movies they're just doing what they're told without thinking about it. Really not a complex thinking process.

Quite literally, they are plot devices.

Wwwwwhiiiiich Slappy totally used to his advantage. Speaking of him, this man wins the Most Sentient Character award, because he was in, like, what? Nine books? Ten? And counting. R. L. Stine (the real life one lmao) literally was talking about releasing another Slappy book a few days ago, so... He's had a LOT of time for that good old Character Development. Also, since his character was intended to be pretty much human-like in nature, he's got that going for him too.

So like, he's got the whole conscious mind thing with (unfortunately) complex emotions thing going on, and the rest of the monsters are just chillin, I guess?? Basically what I'm trying to say is the reason all of them seem to just be mindless with the weird exception of Slappy is because Stine wrote about him the most and put the most thought into HIS character. Because after all, he was his favorite.

And look how that backfired lmaoo but aNYWAYS

ALSO would like to mention that coming out of the books probably takes a little bit out of them because uhhhh idk Why Wouldn't It?? Literally they go from concept to reality. Idk why but I feel like that .... Probably takes a toll on them which may or may not be worse depending on how developed of a character you are??? I know this probably doesn't make sense but

You know that might also be some explanation as to why they were all just kind of acting like zombies

Another part to this theory: the more times you come out of the books, the more power you have and are able to keep stable. And since there were a few implications that Slappy wasn't always kept inside the books, that also would explain a bit why he's so powerful.

Plus in the second movie he went WILD man like did y'all see that that was WAYYY more than he did the first time!! He was harnessing a lot more power and the fact that he was actually able to control all of that at once is.... extremely impressive, to say the least.

Stine made a Mary Sue out of Slappy pretty much and guess WHAT that ALSO backfired nice goin stine

Yeah and since the monsters that were in the first movie weren't there in the second one we don't get to see how they compare to Slappy in terms of how much more powerful they got

but we DO have Hannah, and I think it's safe to say she's a pretty similar situation. Stine obviously wrote her to be human too, and also probably wrote her a LOT in order to give her the Personality ™™™ so,,,,, HMmmmm idk idk but I have a feeling he spent many many nights just working on developing her character so she could be as close to a Real Human as possible. You know, so nobody suspects anything, most likely. And she's also been out of the books for a REALLY long time, so she's got that too.

Debateably she's more developed and therefore more powerful than Slappy is Slappy step up your game

2. Favorite superhero? --- Like the cape-wearing kind? UHHHHHHHhhhhh....

3. Do you have a celebrity crush? --- Lord I have more Celeb crushes than real-life crushes on people who I actually know. Seriously, there’s about a dozen. Good thing they’ll never have to suffer knowing me, ha ha

4. What’s your favorite mythical creature? --- When I was little I had a little golden unicorn on a gold chain. It was, I think, the first piece of gold jewelry I ever had. I thought if I kept it safe and didn’t let anyone touch it, that one day I would be able to see one. Just see one. Not keep, not even ride or touch. (Mom kept horses, so I knew what a stink it was to keep equine) I just wanted to see one... I wonder where that necklace is now. Smash-cut to a couple years later when I’m watching the Last Unicorn and see Molly crying about what a waste it would be to see a Unicorn later in life... I think about that a lot.

So yeah, I like Griffins now.

5. What’s your favorite thing about the city/town you live in? --- I always wanted to live in the city. So many people, so much convenience. I look at the perfectly manicured business parks and it feels so manufactured and fake, it’s a nice little break from the rusticity of the dusty country life.

6. What was the last costume you wore? --- My Darth Maul cosplay is in the works. But I guess the last actual cosplay that I wore was.... Shiro? I guess? Has it been that long? No, I was Holiday Leliana? I did a make-up test for Kallus like 2 days ago...

7. What’s one show you think everyone should be watching? --- Black Sails. I’ve been on a kick lately. I really love pirates and this scratches that particular itch for me. I’m still catching up, so there’s still things I don’t know about it, but am excited to see. The... first seasons are a bit graphic, but I feel like--with one or two exceptions--latter bits feel less gory... and triggering.

8. Do you have any pets right now?  Tell us about them!  (If not, is there a pet you’d like to have?) --- I have 2 cats right now. One, Cooper is grey and white, with green eyes and a light, girlish meow. Carrie, is smaller and brown, with yellow eyes and a still has much of her youthful zest.

... I wish I had my fish tanks again. Sometimes I have dreams that I’m keeping them and my fish have gotten so big, and I’m cleaning their tanks and feeding them and watching them. I’m trimming the plants and cleaning the algae...

9. Favorite piece of jewelry? --- I don’t accessorize much, but I like choker necklaces. I have a ridiculously thin and long neck, so most don’t fit me as tightly as they should. But I do make a collar look good, I assure you.

10. Tell me about one of your OC’s! (if you don’t have one feel free to gush about your favorite fictional character) --- I have absolutely 0 Original characters... Like, I’ve tried to be inventive and design characters who are interesting... But they really aren’t. And what little designs I’ve come up with lack stories of their own.
