Despite all of his failed insight checks across every season, Gorgug is forever the insight guy to me. Which is even more insane considering his wis is 12. But it just suits him so perfectly. Stats be damned, you ask me who my go-to for insight is in that group, I'm gonna say Gorgug almost immediately. And I don't even think that's because he does insight so often—in my head he's just genuinely good at it. In specific circumstances, yes other bad kids are much better suited for it than he is. But Gorgug carries this aura of emotional intelligence and awareness that trounces any other statistical or contextual factor.

Even in the way he prompts things. Like with the connection to Lydia and the red crystals, for example. Any time he poses a question that knocks us all on our asses, it's always in the form of an insight check. It's always insight, even when it's this crazy revelation about some insane magical bullshit that you'd prolly attribute more towards int or arcana. But IN THAT CONTEXT, for HIM, insight makes the MOST sense. It's his thing.

Can barbarians have proficiency in insight? Can artificers? Can barbarian-artificers? Maybe it's odd in a dnd party for the rage-guy to come off as the most emotionally intuitive. But if any one of the bad kids were to have it, I'd assume Gorgug, without question.

You know what? Maybe it's a controversial opinion but it makes sense why, no matter what Jason does or how he changes or how long ago it was, Bruce will always hold how he has killed people in the past over his head.

We're talking about a man who puts on a cape and cowl every night because of the memory of helplessness he has from being a kid who watched his parents be mugged then murdered in front of him. A man who has control issues. A deeply troubled man who has contingency plans for even his children.

There is nothing Jason can do if Bruce isn't willing to work with him. Not as Batman and Red Hood, but as Bruce and Jason.

The ball is in Bruce's court.

He needs to start putting in the work to forgive Jason, forgive himself for the perception that he failed Jason by 'letting' him become a killer, and change how he sees Jason. Because while he sees his son, Jason? I'm betting he also sees a Joe Chill-esque 'monster' he had a hand in releasing on the world. Doesn't matter that Jason has a no-kill policy now. This is Bruce's problem he needs to fix.

And how does he do that?

Therapy.

My fellow dyslexics: I've created a dyslexia symptom survey.

Why have I done this? Becuase dyslexia is a spectrum disorder and different people have different symptoms. And I find it really interesting. And I like working with data.

People without reading issues are also welcome to participate!

I will look at the results after a month (march 5th, 2023) and make a judgment on if I have a big enough dataset to work with. If I get enough feedback, I will do a comprehensive report (maybe record a video walk through of the results).

I really adore how empathetic and honest Basim is in mirage. It's such a stark contrast to the cunty manipulative man we see in valhalla. They are both manipulative and know what to say to get what they want but valhalla Basim is more gross and crusty about it while mirage Basim is much more genuine and polite about it. OK I got 3 copies of Nemona, played most of her special event thingy. The stories in this game are pretty . . . basic, but it's not like I expected exceptional, stellar writing in a phone game (and it's not like Pokemon has a track record of amazing writing, ha). Her story's okay though! Mostly just a rehash of ideas from her game, but it was cute!

Her voice actor's also okay! Not my headcanon, but, eh. What can ya do? The Nemona voice in my head is full of such sincerity and glee. But it was extremely unlikely the VA was ever gonna measure up to what's in my head, haha.

She did call Juliana/Florian her treasure 😭🧡💜

I wanted to invite her into the "Lounge" which seems to be an area where you get to chat with trainers and have extra story but you can't invite her. Yet. I hope they add that soon. So I can be her bestest friend.

Also I know very little about how this game works but apparently Nemona is the poster child for a brand-new category of trainer in this game (there's been Strike, Support and Tech so far), so she's like, what did they call it, 'Sprint' I think. So that's cool.
