i know we got para terms like fictpara and primpara but is there a term for a para that is both fictional and real? (e.g. a biopic, video game/show that heavily fictionalizes historical figures, etc) or do we just lump those paras under whichever term fits them best to us lmao

i drew these up a long time ago after i had a dream that dw9 was gonna update with two new unique npcs that look suspiciously familiar and was so sad it wasn't real

Why would mystics hang out in a war-torn China? I don't know! DW3 had Fuxi and Nuwa so it is not an impossible concept. Random sidequests from strange old men sounds great come on.

Having Shennong and Taigong Wang in DW seems random at first, but considering their origins, it might make more sense. Shennong is usually said to be originally human or a demigod in mythos while Taigong was a real person (though in WO he seems to act like he was always a mystical dude). So maybe they would have the easiest time pretending to be human in-world.

i've been using the frugality hack (saying "i'll buy it next time") ever since the nintendo switch released in 2017 and i feel like wanting to buy it again. the price has dropped a bit i think, but i still have to keep in mind our expenses... so i guess it's another year of me not having one

#Yesterday i went through the ps store to see what demos they have. I saw SW5 had a demo! I was pretty excited about it #My first reaction to Samurai warriors 5 was: what in the ikemen! lol 😭. I'm sorry #like I know these are them younger but it's still pretty funny knowing their older vers/designs in the other games #I was having so much fun playing the demo I realized it was over 😭. I was invested in the story and I wanted to play more!. I was hooked ag #Its fine I have SW1/XL and SW2 🥰 so I'm going to play those to calm my nerves lol. #I really hope for Christmas I get SW 2 XL and SW4!!! plz I'm obsessed again #yes I'm skipping SW3 🧍‍♀️cause I don't want to play it on the wii 😭 I'm sorry. I just feel like the gameplay isn't going to be the best #question to anyone who has played SW3 on the wii. How was your experience playing it?

I've been screwing around on my 3ds a lot so I figured I could use another Koei Warriors game on there, and since there aren't any Dynasty Warriors entries on the 3ds and it's been forever since I've touched Samurai Warriors, I might as well get the Chronicles games. Pretty much everyone in these games is at least a bit terrible (it's a series about a bunch of catty nobles who are vying for power and having wars over it, not to mention most of them would sell each other to satan for one corn chip, what do you expect) but they tend to not be very honest about that. However, there are exceptions. One of my favorite instances so far is these two basically calling each other assholes and then bantering about it like they're chatting about the weather.

#I'm still mad they redesigned kanbei to be conventionally attractive in sw5 like. WHAT THE FUCK. #i like him when he looks like a corpse that's been in the cadaver fridge for too long THANK YOU VERY MUCH.
