the way i see it the supernatural finale could be interpreted as disrespectful and a slap in the face to the characters who fought so hard to create their own story, write their own destiny, define all odds and live their lives outside of gods will in this case but personally to me the whole "this was always gonna end like this", "love was there and it didn't chnage anything. but it still matters that the love was there", and the fact that their story and legacy will live on and the fact that sam and dean died the way they were introduced to us in the very first episode and the way both characters always predicted,, is kind of,, its kind of beautiful,..

so i know i haven't gotten the chance to write with a sam here. or really talked about the boys and their relationship. though i'll put this in perspective, dean defied the angels and their apocolypse to be with sam so he wouldn't die alone against michael, even the devil in an attempt to save his brother and the world ( because yes in that moment. i do think saving sam was deeply rooted more then stopping lucifer to save the world, but sadly jo and ellen died that night ), stands against death himself after swearing he was done fighting the mark, and that he knew he would have to kill sam to keep the darkness locked away ( but he kills death for sam. ). when the walls come up and the cards are stacked against him, sam remains a constant force to beckon his brother down from the edge, or dean is constantly standing against fate. against the world for sam. their relationship is problematic at most turns, but despite all that, in spite of it all. sam is one of the sole most important person in his life. he raised sam and eventually sam has to do same for dean. i think eventually near the end their relationship is certainly less co-dependent, but it's still there, and dean cannot live in a world without sam. there is no dean without sam. all of this is after watching a music video about them, and then spiraling into a million ( not literally ) about dean.
