:(( genuine question though, do you think koreans actually know about the boycotts? im sure they know about the war itself and yes there are protests for it (but to be fair, protests in general are really common in korea), but as the boycott is mainly spread through the english-speaking side of social media, couldn’t it be that they just aren’t aware? like yes they are grown adults and they do have access to the internet, but if information on the boycotts/ those companies aren’t even spread on the korean-side of the internet, how are they expected to learn about it or educate themselves? of course if they’re supporting them knowingly then… :/ but it seems unfair to assume that koreans should definitely know about these boycotts, even if they do know about the war… wouldn’t it be better to give them benefit of doubt…?

the boycott exists in every language in all countries. if Italians know about it, koreans do too. you don't have to speak english to be aware of it. just because they're celebrities they don't deserve more benefit of the doubt or affection from me than any other person alive. doyoungs ig comments and bubble are invaded by people informing him of the boycott in all languages he can understand. all the people posing randomly with Starbucks cups (when they usually hide the labels - meaning they're probably paid to do so) are also invaded with comments informing them on the matter. Korean social media is invaded with information on the matter. koreans are suddenly aware of small issues such a insult left in the comments to be able to sue and yet they're suddenly unaware of something this big?

everyone is insulting the korean intelligence by assuming they're living in a bubble.

they're not children. they're not your friends. they're not your family. blind support makes no sense and any "attack" on the idols you love should not be a personal attack on you as a person and a fan.

you should like your idol because they're brave, wise, kind, and a source of inspiration. you should like an idol because they act right and are good. that's what an idol is. especially given their platform their actions are more impactful than mine or yours because they can impact a huge group of people.

you can do whatever you want to, no one is in your head and your home to know if you still like an idol or not but if your energy is now spent trying to understand an idol's pov and giving them the benefit of the doubt then you should put that energy into not being quiet about the Palestinians children murdered and people tortured, with no food to eat, no water, under constant bombing, being the victims of a GENOCIDE, whole the Israeli troops are feasting on FREE McDonald's in their tanks and posting it on social media boasting about how many people they killed that day

Every day I get email notifications on that one about kudos. It's probably my most kudosed fic which is a little mind blowing to me! I'm really glad that the story cheers you up! I was literally talking about this with someone a few minutes ago. Anon are you spying on our chat?! In my opinion Dab is both of them, depending on the situation, cause they created him (rather than Evan who was like made by the game?). Like yesterday in the video Dab playing piano felt very Dan and Evan singing (badly) felt very Phil but in other moments aka Dab being very clumsy, he feels very Phil. When it comes to the relationship dynamic tho, I think Dan is more Evan and Dab is more Phil somehow.

I wonder when the writers decided Chase=House Foreman=Cuddy Cameron=Wilson, because I feel like it was originally kinda set up Foreman=House and Cameron a kind of Cuddy/Wilson fusion and Chase is just kinda there to be kinda an antagonist for the other 2 in the first few seasons and then it’s all got swapped around

mm i can see why you would think that and i thought it too originally but i think it was kind of foreshadowed since the beginning ngl. chase has always admired house and followed him around, laughed at his jokes, etc. he displays the same kind of lack of empathy that house pretends not to have. meanwhile foreman has argued with him when he's doing or saying something stupid and is always Tired and extremely professional and work-centered. sound familiar? and of course cameron and her empathy and the way she cares about patients and ethics and wants to fix people. i don't really see the cuddy part of her ngl -- all the conversations she's had with cuddy i feel only highlight their differences.

Okay, well, even if you might leave your job, a lot of other people won't.
