I love how so many fics says Aemond smells like some kinda sandalwood. It’s a like a general consensus that besides perhaps fire or dragon , there must be sandalwood.

Une Fleur De Cassie Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle Nose: Dominique Ropion
Soft floral
Unshakably high society. Reminiscent of 1930s Paris, a time of innovation and breezy luxury; when design was sharp but art was the stuff of dreams, and family secrets were drowned wildly in champagne. Rare Cassie flower and mimosa absolute form the beating heart of this intoxicating perfume, rounded with jasmine absolute, sandalwood, vanilla and musk. Cut with aldehydes for the clean edge of minimalist design, and dipped in rose oil for a pampered kind of freshness, Une Fleur de Cassie is high fashion and perfect composition. Vintage vanity.

pots of creamy vanilla and sandalwood perfum. Remember all those vanilla beans I bought a few weeks back? I infused some in sunflower oil, added a few drops of sandalwood EO and melted a little beeswax in. Smeared my arms with it and I smell so good I may lick myself. Get one in the shop update on April 7th at 6:00pm CST.

To Rakshit Shetty,
A uniquely skilled actor-director who opened my eyes and charmed me all the way into the beautiful world of Kannada cinema. For it was through his films I got introduced to watching more of Kannada movies and appreciating films that belonged to this industry.
I have rarely or never obsessively fangirled over actors though I admire their work.
You remain as a special exception :D
I mean, the obsession is absolutely healthy.
And real.
Your films. Each one of them have given me an enthralling experience. Making me explore different perspectives as I saw a new side of life altogether, through your lens.
The beautiful memories of which,I will cherish for years to come. And I look forward to all of the projects that will also be a product of your sheer hardwork and intelligence in the future.
Happy birthday, star! I have and I will always root for you. I respect and adore you to the moon and back! <3
Lots of love,
From a fan of yours <3

Malectober Day 5: Sandalwood
Alec knew the smell of sandalwood like he knew his own body. It was the smell that lingered in his home, that clung to the pillows of their bed, that he associated with comfort, with love, with safety, with desire. It was the scent of Magnus.
Alec remembered the first time he’d had a name for the rich, sharp scent of Magnus’s hair and skin, in a hotel room in Rome. Why do you always smell amazing? he’d asked, and Magnus had replied, It’s sandalwood.
When they were in bed together, with Magnus underneath him or on top of him or beside him, Alec would press his face into his husband’s neck and inhale deeply, breathing him in. At the end of a long day, when Alec came home stiff and sore and tired, Magnus would sometimes run him a hot bath and, kneeling by the tub, wash him all over. He would work sandalwood shampoo into Alec’s hair, rub sandalwood soap into his skin, until Magnus’s hands and Alec’s body and the entire room smelled nice.
Isabelle and Jace teased him for it, but Alec didn’t care. Privately he thought that it was nice to have almost a signature scent, something that he and Magnus shared. Sandalwood was their thing. And nothing ever felt better than waking up with Magnus in his arms and burying his face in his hair, the familiar smell reminding Alec that he was home, that he was safe, that he was loved.
