i was thinking about writing a story, but i don't really have time, and i really wanted to do something cool and special for the last day of this amazing week!! so instead of writing, i made a moodboard, and i'm going to explain why i used all the images i did because i think this captures my anaroceit dynamic really well!

no explicit cws, but there is going to be a bit of talk about sexuality/lovemaking.

here we have the lovely moodboard!

i wanted to use the different colored images to show how these three love each other. and there is a pattern here for every single image!

of course, the top three, left to right, are roman, janus, and virgil.

but i didn't add their own color beneath them, instead opting to really show how connected all three of them are to each other by putting the other two's colors beneath each side.

now for explanations!!

roman and virgil's pictures for each other are both text messages, words of affirmation. that's their love language to each other. they tell each other that they're enough, that they're special and worthy and beautiful. because that's what they need from each other, but it's also what they adore giving to each other. roman feels a lot of insecurity that virgil's kind words curb, and when virgil's anxiety gets the best of him, roman is there to reassure him that everything is okay. they're both refreshingly honest with each other because they see no reason not to be.

roman and janus' pictures are both flowers, gifts/gestures. that is their love language to each other. sometimes, words aren't what they want, and they both love to shower each other in objects, especially ones that have sentimental value. i could see them silently passing each other flowers on a quiet sunday, and smiling. it's less the object itself, and more the thought that they know the other put in that sends them both into giggling, kicking their feet, twirling their hair, all the cute little romantic things. but they're also both quite materialistic, and they bond over this shared trait.

virgil and janus' pictures are where things get a little risque. gifts and words are great, but how these two love the most with each other is through physical touch. in my personal headcanon, roman is asexual and uncomfortable with physical touch, so virgil and janus are intimate together. it's sort of their thing, and their bodies speak to each other better than words ever can. virgil has a tendency to trip over his words, and janus has a tendency to lie through his teeth, but when they're cuddling, or hugging, or kissing, or acting intimately, none of that has to hinder them.

though they have very good relationships one-on-one, the real power and beauty, what makes the ENTIRE picture, is where they are the strongest. sure, they have their individual relationships with each other, but the way that every picture fits together just shows how lovely and colorful they are when they are a team of three. they all balance each other out in the best way: roman with his energy, janus with his intelligence, and virgil with his caution. these traits of theirs sometimes get them into trouble, but really, they bring out the best in each other. roman's endless optimism inspires virgil and janus to see things from the bright side. janus' observations and musings remind roman and virgil to slow down and enjoy the beautiful world around them. virgil's quiet protection show roman and janus that they're loved and cared for, and they always will be.

these three fit together so well, and i'm so happy that anaroceit week has happened, and all of these amazing pieces have come about! i'm grateful to have been able to contribute!! see everyone next year! ❤️💛💜

Yo! I dunno if anyone will see this post, but in case you do, I have a quick question for you all.

I'm in the mood for some fun romantic prinxiety fics, and I would love some recommendations from you all since I can't seem to find anything good in any of my ao3 searches.

My only requirements are that they have to be canon-verse adjacent and generally not a toxic view of their relationship. They don't have to be canon compliant, but I don't really want a whole au, you know? And my main problem is that aus seem to be the only thing I can find when I look up prinxiety fics on ao3.

HAPPY 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO TORN APART!!

Holy fuck, I can't believe it's already been this long. Truth be told I nearly forgot about the anniversary and almost missed it, I really should pay more attention to this sort of thing.

Unfortunately, I don't have any art or work to post as a celebration of the 2 years this fic has been out for, I've been really busy as of recently and kinda forgot that the date was today. Hopefully I'll actually remember to make something next year for the 3 year anniversary, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Also, if you couldn't tell, I've kinda been off the grid as of recently here on tumblr. I don't really have any excuse for that unfortunately, I've mostly just kinda started hanging out on different platforms like tiktok. (Speaking of which, if you wanna follow me over there, my user is @transformationlov) I'm not leaving this site by any means, this is still my favorite hellsite and I love it to pieces, but I've just kinda been doing other stuff.

However, I do have some really fun news to make up for that fact! Which is... I'm writing a novel! :D Like an actual novel, not a fic this time! (Although I am working on one of those too for ISWM.) I'm nowhere near completing this thing, I only recently started working on it like a month ago, but I am working on it! I can't tell you much about it at the moment, but I'm incredibly excited to be working on it. :3

It’s been literal years but someone said they liked my old Virgil design and I felt compelled to do an updated take on how I would stylize him. Anyways. My design notes r like: “Hair highlights gotta look like little bat wings. Trust.”

Other personal headcanons/design things:

I think he’s the tallest of the sides, but has a slouching problem and loses like half a foot from it. Part of it is he also feels like he comes off as less intimidating sometimes if he makes himself smaller.

Has eight eyes but covers the smaller ones up with eyeshadow. The ones directly under his “main” eyes are too big/uncomfortable to hide. Despite having so many eyes, his eyesight is actually Quite Bad.

Has heterochromia (the other eyes are green but you can’t tell from this because his bangs are covering them 💀).

Back when he first started showing up in videos, it was because Janus and Remus sent him (their source being it couldn’t be them, bc with Roman and Remus it’s on sight, and the other sides don’t trust a word out of Janus’ mouth). Until then, Virgil had never really interacted with the other Sides. They knew Anxiety was lurking around but had no concept of what he looked like and Virgil Liked It That Way.

Janus and Remus are freaky in their own way but Virgil probably looks the most uncanny of the bunch.

He’s not used to holding a different shape for prolonged periods of time so his energy levels are always Ass.

Logan has noticed this and knows something is going on.

Roman, Post Accepting Anxiety: You know…You look surprisingly normal…I mean you have an extra set of eyes but that’s pretty tame.

Virgil, hiding his extra arms and eyes and mandibles and—: yeah. Haha I’m so normal :) It’s kind of crazy how normal I am actually.
