Summary: Sasuke fears him being a father, while Sakura gives birth to their daughter in one of Orochimaru's hideouts.

The dimly lit ceiling lamps swung back and forth slightly over Sasuke's head due to a slight draft of air, casting wide shadows on the cold stone walls. It was cramped in the hallway and his footsteps echoed far too loudly in the silence. Apart from the soft whirring of the ceiling lamps his steps were the only noise in the hallway and Sasuke welcomed any kind of noise at this moment. Always hoping to not hear his thoughts anymore or to direct them in another direction. It did not help though. There were too many words and images buzzing around in his head for it to be even within the realm of possibility to silence them. So many questions he couldn't or wouldn't answer - and then there was this fear. This terrible fear.

He had never thought he would end up in such a situation. His path had always been paved with blood and hate, leaving no room for something as normal and at the same time wonderful as a family of his own. And yet, here they were. In one of the many rooms, a good distance down the hall, Sakura was currently lying on a bed, giving birth to their daughter in the presence of Karin. Sasuke had wanted to stay but had been asked to leave by Karin because he would disturb her concentration. She had explained to him that his inner turmoil was transferring to his chakra, and she couldn't block it out. So, he had left the room to wait in the hallway instead. But Sakura's screams had come through the thick door. Just hearing her without being able to not see her had been too much for him. So, he had decided to go for a walk. His feet had carried him away inch by inch and when he finally came to a stop, his ears were no longer able to detect even the faintest hint of her voice. But now there was this silence and so he decided to keep going.

i mean. i'll be honest with you anon idk if she'd exist. there was a sns comic with her that had some light sakuino in the background but if i'm being fully honest i personally have like. zero interest in most of the next gen kids. i like chouchou, i don't mind himawari, and i'm indifferent at best to the rest of them.

also i haven't seen/read bort and probably never will. i've read fics that did things i liked with sarada but since i personally have no real interest in her there's not a lot for me to do.

ShikaTema is the Best Love Story in All of Naruto.

Okay, so Kishimoto and Ikemoto might do better with Boruto. However, as far as Naruto is concerned, ShikaTema is the best love story hands down. Let me explain.

Naruto x Hinata - Naruto spent 19 years either being oblivious to Hinata's existence or thinking she was weird.

Sasuke x Sakura - This relationship was so abusive that it was borderline criminal. I'm glad it's better now. I like Sarada, but Sasuke did not deserve a wife.

Sai x Ino - This is one of the better love stories. They kind of hit it off from the beginning in a lot of ways. However, aside from the light novel, we don't know much about it.

Asuma x Kurenai - Also, one of the better love stories, but we kind of just saw that they were together one day. Then before we know it, Asuma dies before the birth of his daughter.

Minato x Kushina - Another one of the better love stories. However, we were kind of rushed through the love story, because their entire love story was told in the past for obvious reasons.

Obito x Rin - I guess this is a good love story. I mean it almost ended in the destruction of the ENTIRE world, and Rin was in love with Kakashi the entire time, but what can you do? Did Rin and Obito end up together romantically? I have no idea. In death, Obito reverted back to his 13-14 year old self and spent eternity with 13-14 year old Rin. Yes, that's kind of romantic, but let's be honest, they can only be so romantic before it just becomes creepy and inappropriate (assuming the never age).

Now, the big one: Shikamaru x Temari.

I mean one could argue that this love story began with Temari fought Ten Ten. It was the first time Shikamaru noticed Temari. He took one look at her, and said that she had already beat Ten Ten. Naruto asked Shikamaru how he knew that, and Shikamaru said that he would not tell Naruto if Naruto couldn't figure it out himself.

Shikamaru vs Temari is the first time that Temari noticed Shikamaru, and she was utterly unimpressed with him until the very end of the fight when she realized that she was about 2 seconds for losing if Shikamaru had larger chakra reserves. From that point on, Shikamaru was never far from her mind.

Fast forward, these two lovely characters don't see each other again until Temari has to save Shikamaru from Tayuya. Shikamaru underestimates Temari's abilities, and Temari effortless kills Tayuya with her wind scythe jutsu. After seeing this, Shikamaru compares Temari to his mother.

This is important, because earlier, Shikamaru had asked his father why he married his mother, and Shikamaru's dad was basically like, "A good woman can change you."

Aside from a broken finger, Shikamaru visits the hospital to see how his severely injured friends are doing. Temari scolds him for being too emotional, because it seems as though Shikamaru is about to give up.

Shikamaru's like, "I don't need all this smoke." He gets up to leave, and his father is basically like, "You coward, are you going to let this woman talk to you crazy and all your comrades die in the future."

Shikamaru starts crying and this is the first time we see Temari show genuine concern and empathy for Shikamaru.

The next episode, I believe, Shikamaru is the one to see Temari and her brothers off from the Leaf Village as they head back to the sand.

Now, I'm going to fast forward to Shippuden. Yes, there's a filler arc in which Shikamaru saves Temari from another wind user. Upon returning to the Leaf, I believe Temari helps Shikamaru in the ninja academy with the students, and Shikamaru sees off the Sand Sibling again. You get the point.

Moving onto Shippuden, the first time we see Shikamaru in the village, we see him with Temari. Naruto keenly asks if the two of them are dating. Both Shikamaru and Temari think the assertion is hilarious, but it's actually pretty accurate.

Why, because without going through an entire play by play of every time Shikamaru and Temari were together in Shippuden, I will say this. If there's a Naruto episode with Temari in it, there's about an 80-90% that Shikamaru will be in that episode too, and that he will interact with Temari in some way.

For example, the war arc episode in which Konohamaru challenged Temari to a fight. Shikamaru did not need to be in that episode. Yet, Moegi and Udon went and found Shikamaru, so that Shikamaru could break up the fight. That was when Shikamaru said how scary Temari actually was.

There's even a shot little bonus video in which Shikamaru said, "What if it was Shikamaru Shippuden instead of Naruto Shippuden?" The an opening screen appears on the screen, and there's a silhouette of Shikamaru and Temari on the opening screen.

Temari is a long distance combat specialist. I feel that Shikamaru is mid-distance at best, but yet, both of them were in the same exact campaign during the war, and where was Temari? She was standing right next to Shikamaru.

When Shikamaru got caught up in the infinite genjustu, he dreamt of Temari by his side as they mutually agreed that marriage sucks.

My point is, as I skip a ton of points, Kishimoto had built up a relationship between these two characters for nearly 20 years. Mind you, that these characters DO NOT live in the same village. Temari has very little screen time. She has so little screen time, that she has a new outfit dang near every other time that we see her. However, the majority of the screen time she does have is with Shikamaru. The relationship between these two was set long before the light novels from Shikamaru were even considered.

After that incident, Sasuke noticed that Sakura changed. She started eating less. She also tried to work out as soon as Sarada went to sleep. Sasuke knew that her relatives' words affected her even if she said they didn't.

Sasuke: Why are you eating less than usual?

Sakura: I— I don't, Anata.. It's just that I don't feel like eating much.

Sasuke: You don't like the food?

Sakura: Y-Yeah..

Sasuke: What do you want? I'll cook for you.

Sakura: Sasuke-kun..

Sasuke: *checks their freezer* Ah, chicken tatsuta. *takes it and starts frying* It's good with miso soup. I'll also prepare you a bowl.

Sakura couldn't say no to Sasuke, so she would finish anything that he prepared for her. Sasuke knew this and would always cook lunch and dinner for Sakura.

Sakura also noticed that their weighing scale was always nowhere to be found. And even if she saw it, it was always broken and malfunctioning. She thought it was Sasuke's doing and true enough, she caught him deliberately breaking the mechanism.

Sakura: A-Anata! What are you doing?

Sasuke: *panics* Amaterasu! *burns it* Y-You don't need this, Sakura. It's a waste of space and—

my assumption is that,

naruto used to feel hinata and went on a date and had sex, lead family life with children & hinata

but fell out of that passionate feelings

remained just love and companionship as a father and to the partner who is mother of his children, that's their connection became like that after few years of himawari's birth

but sakura forced sasuke into one night stand willingly and had sarada in hideout but sasuke left, sasuke did give sakura place in his life and promised will return till then asked to wait by that forehead tap and next time dialogue and thanks her for her devotion but sakura crossed the boundary and didn't respect his wish by forcefully causing one night stand when he wasn't even ready for sexual relation so some tricky way of sakura like how she fit her photo over karin photo,

then forcefully chasing after him when sasuke refused bc of her pregnancy and he left on a kaguya mission, sakura gave birth in karin hideout but i am sure sasuke wasn't there when sarada was born that's why they don't have at least one photo with sasuke but sakura and sarada have tons alone and together.

Sasuke wasn't ready to be in a sexual and parental relation bc of journey at that time, sakura forced herself onto him sexually and made him a father who was unwilling or not prepared at that time that's why sasuke didn't maintain communication with sarada and sakura but with naruto only and why sakura so tensed throughout the gaiden and secretive,

Yeah, because Karin said "Sakura is your mother" that is all the proof they need. Despite Salad looking like Karin, needing glasses like Karin, Karin giving Sakura her glasses and in turn Karin got the umbilical cord, no birth certificate, Sakura's inability to answer questions, and a story that is so unbelievably ridiculous that you question whether or not it is even true...., but because Karin says she is...she is. Again. EVERYTHING IS A TELL, NOT SHOW KIND OF STORY.

If Sakura truly is the mother, when the hell did they even consummate? Why does Salad even need glasses? What the hell does any of it NOT make sense?

what jun easaka thinking without no indication of clan other members especially children and babies but she did mention in naruto retsuden that sasuke took sakura and sarada to uchiha clan graveyard, but here how vaguely she tried to put it, in canon sasuke did admit he can forgive itachi not konoha especially he held hokage responsible for the damage to his clan, then how can easaka just refuted any indication of other uchiha clan members lives being sacrificed and how they were treated, this sasuke is oof, sasuke forgotten about his clan's sacrifice? and easily agree what his brother did was right? but sasuke was talking about in end punishing culprits and judged and how he is only member of the clan, now that sacrifice is okay as long it's for village sake, sasuke would never sacrificed children for village, this is not canon sasuke, what the hack easka itachi did only sacrificed himself but many children as young as 3 to 4 who has no knowledge of coup( itachi shinden),

Isn't it morally questionable to portray a mass murderer in positive light without not mention of how his clan was butchered narratively? Also why shouldn't new generation feel remorse about dirty past of the village and know the whole truth, that's how naruto came to understand sasuke after knowing the dirty past of the village then why should not next generation and otherwise they would glorify a imperial japan like figures hiruzen and tobirama and hashirama, would follow another cycle of hatred in the name of the village

new generation getting taught only the bright not the dark side, that's why orchimaru can exploit mitsuki like children bc he is great importance to konoha similar to usa used imperal japan genocidal doctor and nazi's ngel of death for their own benefit, then there konohamaru manipulated team 7 to do hard b rank which would death by telling gaara's b rank mission but not telling the whole truth how gaara was forced by his father and village authority to do using a monster since his birth so much teaching for younger generation!

Here is difference bc before village creation ninja were hired to do various kinds of works bc that's how they survived bc it's their job and trained like it as life mission even die for it uchiha senju killed each other children but the uchiha persecution was horrible bc they were cofounder clan of the village, they also lost their lives for the village in the wars and calling it home and they have every right to be free like other clan but they did not treated equally and betrayed again and again by the 2nd hokage, hiruzen, hashirama, danzo and even by their own kin itachi and shisui when they were innocent, what uchiha did to chinoike was normal bc it was warring state period where killing children was normal which why village was created so that children don't need to die yet tsunade's brother nawaki and uchiha children had to die, after village creation all clans formed their own village there every clan should be safe and treated equally, really author sucks by having analogy like that with ignoring how konoha authority get unpunished for the persecution and genocide of the Uchiha clan, author tried to make sasuke feels guilty for what uchiha did to chinoike which was mission as it happened before village creation but konoha was uchiha's home so persecution to their own people is unjustified that's why naruto never reveals the whole truth, analogy here should be:

Uchiha harmed chinoike as a ninja mission how Konoha harmed amegakure for ninja missions being provided by land of fire daimyo but konoha persecuted and harmed uchiha were evil and unjustified as uchiha were comrades and loyal clan who fought for konoha in great shinobi wars and protected the village even with being persecuted

Antis take the chased down so seriously, ofc kishi had to add this and ruin one more thing again about ss in gaiden.Do you think if Sakura chased sasuke as in located his location or something idk gaiden plot was a mess as it is, it's a bad moment for sasusaku or takes away their development.

Because antis always jump to the conclusion that Sakura must have somehow tracked Sasuke down without his consent and forced him to travel with her, regardless of how little sense that makes. As if Sakura would have had any idea how to track him down in the first place. As if Sakura would be able to force Sasuke to do anything that he didn't want to do.

Doesn't it simply mean that Sakura chased him during shippuden which even karin knows...

Nah, the topic of conversation was specifically regarding Sarada's birth and the circumstances behind it. Sakura chasing after Sasuke during Pt.2 of the story had nothing to do with Sarada's birth.
