Don't mind me, just sitting down here drifting into my own thoughts about how vince and the rest of the brba/bcs writers managed to write gustavo fring in a way so thematically queer and his entire plot line being centred around max's death and his revenge, but to me it's the themes that just hit too close to home.

(I hide in plain sight) as someone who exists in a place where queerness is a crime, this is very much how I live. The double life of chicken man during the day kingpin by the just reads to me as queer allegory.

(look at him, its you're fault) do I need to explain this one at all? If you ever came across religious homophobia you'd be told that your queerness is what doomed you from the start and the harm that comes to you and your loved ones is just a natural consequence of your queerness. I remember being Bearley 16, my first partner being dragged away and into a fate that I'll never know of, and my dad telling me that if anything happens to her, it's my fault, while being pinned to a wall and searched befor entry to conversion therapy, sobbing my eyes out. The hermanos scene was so fucking traumatising to say the least, the desperation in both gus's and max's eyes and the fear that consumes any other emotion or thought, I know it too well. Honestly, I feel like an absolute joke literally having a ptsd flashback because of this scene and then reading that giancarlo said that gus's sexuality is up to interpretation, like am I joke to you or what ? Love this man as much as any fan, but bro, I just rather you'd call me a slur ?

( a bullet to the head would be too humane) There is also the anger, vengeance, and grudge he holds. Though because he is very practical, we rarely get to see this peak through, but it's definitely his greatest motivation. And I dont know how to put this into words, but if had the chance to hurt the people that hurt me and took away my ability to protect someone I promised to protect, I fucking would. He'll I'd set the systems that are built to destroy me a blaze. Though for now, me being alive, breathing, surviving, is its own kind of revenge.

( Hector vs. Gus ) this one is pretty obvious, lone wolf queer swearing off any kind of emotional connection throwing away the last 20 years of his life to avenge the death of his lover, he also expresses masculinity just never in the traditional sence, going against hector who's very much the family guy, his entire existence and power is within his family, the traditional patriarchal image of a man. They literally are opposites in everything. when hector barges into los pollos heramnos, he completely disrespects the place and "immaculates" gus by cleaning his shoes on the desk and smoking inside the restaurant. On the other hand, we see gus smiling after the Salamancas left, knowing that this meant he successfully sabotaged their operation. He won, he's the in dominance, but he won't flaunt it or scream and shout or be an ass hole unless he absolutely needs to, other than that we never see him interested in showing off his muscles to anyone. Of course, unlike hector. He'll shit himself as a show of dominance and masculinity, literally lmao.

I just hope that this shows that Queerness isn't just about sexuality and gender. It literally changes how you interact with the whole world. Whether or not this was intentionally done by the writers, a brilliant conicdance of all these things coming together and making gustavo fring is one of the best queer characters to ever be on the TV screens. I know people will mention the wine bar scene, or the 2 times he stood by the same exact same spot at eladio's pool, or fact that gus never expressed interest in women, etc. But this isn't all there is. TO ME, there is not a reading of Gustavo fring that wouldn't end up reading him as queer, specifically because of the themes listed above. And (up to interpretation) is not good enough and will never be. You don't get to profit off of me watching this getting retrumatised and then acting like it's a total stretch for me to see myself in that. It INFURATES ME honestly relating to this piece of media, that I'm probably not welcomed into the fandom or even seen as reaching far to get to the queer reading of this character, the queer fans deserve so much better than this.

Also, I know when vince and giancarlo would probably be so uncomfortable at the suggestion that gus and max have been lovers i know my bois James Martinez and Peter Gould got my back

I hope the next time I hyper fixate on a queer character that they'd be written or played by queer people. I don't think anyone could have played gus better than giancarlo himself, but how hard it is to just acknowledge that it's an integral part of who gus is? I guess it's too much for the P.R. lmao.

Anael Martinez, a 23-year-old with no purpose in his life, decides to accept the worst job in the world: being Saul Goodman's personal assistant. The pay is bad and the work is hard, so why would anyone in their right mind even apply? Simple, we all do crazy things for love.

While it is known that Saul has Francesca as his secretary, at a certain point he decides to hire a personal assistant, someone to do his shopping and fulfill his every whim, whatever the hour; at first Saul sees Anael as a freak, notices that he gets nervous and red and tries to avoid making eye contact with him but, as he is efficient, he doesn't question it…. Eventually, Saul realizes what's going on and decides to take advantage (of course) of the situation in front of him. With innocent flirting and words to sweeten his ear, Jimmy takes advantage of him by giving him tasks he doesn't want to do and even to avoid paying him, he probably owes him more than three months' pay but Anael forgets about it when Saul massages his shoulders and talks over his ear.

"You know I'm out of money with other issues, could I pay you next week? I know I can, that's why I like you."

Me enoja que nadie entienda las realidades que yo entiendo. Tantas personas todas estupidas ignorantes y que hablan de lo que no conocen y TODOS LOS PUTOS ADULTOS diciendo "alejense de sofia es problemática" ¿Y entonces que son sus hijos? Porque la mayoria de las actitudes que me volvieron autodestructiva conmigo misma no son actitudes de ningun santito. Pero claro ¡cuando es sobre sus hijitos perfectos que son socialmente aceptados si hay un perdón!

Mis ex amigas… me enoja que Regina me haya dicho unos años atrás que "prefiere que alguien se cure por si mismo y no dependiendo de una pastilla" y ahora me llama a mi tóxica todo el tiempo cuando ella es la tóxica junto con abril que no entienden que me sentía traicionada con abril y por eso empecé a tratarla mal porque a joaquina yo le tenia asco y miedo de que si la enfrentaba a ella iba a manipular mas la situación porque es una psicopata entonces preferi alejarme y aunque me sintiera sola dejar que mi grupo de amigas se vaya con quien me arruino la vida escolar y encima se creen que yo soy la toxica y ellas no cuando ellas no tienen ni puta idea de lo que es sufrir tanto dolor al punto de necesitar antipsicoticos desde los 11/12 años ademas tenia yo 16 y ahora tengo 19 y siguen diciendole a todos que soy tóxica cuando ni les hablé más.

La kami que ahora todos la quieren pero en su momento a mi me dijo cosas horribles y me ha llegado a hacer llorar hasta tengo los audios de ella diciendo "no la quiero" "sofia es re puta" y se justificaba con "si le trato de esta forma quiza se hace fuerte y se va a dejar de cortar" y ponia memes indirectas como si yo fuese una de las pendejas que se cortan por atención ignorando que yo tengo diagnosticada inestabilidad emocional y antes de cortarme yo ya de niña me golpeaba a mi misma para regularme pero ella tiene todo el puto derecho a hablar al pedo de mi y ahora anda x la vida haciendose la políticamente correcta cuando es tremenda falsa que hace bullying a gente por tener trastorno de inestabilidad emocional, por autolesionarse y cortarse y por ser diferente

Saul Mendez es un pibe que como yo nunca quise ser su novia publicó fotos mias desnuda que consiguió su compañero Luciano un año atrás las publicó en paginas de porno grafía y uno de mis ex novios Jonas Martinez quiso extorsionarme diciendo que "robe su identidad y era un delito" y que si yo denunciaba a saul el me denunciaria a mi. Jonas NO era ni conocido de saul ni menos amigos. Lo queria hacer PORQUE ES UN RESENTIDO y entonces por suerte pude hacer mi denuncia igual ya que cuando hable con un adulto de confianza resulta que NUNCA robe una identidad desde el principio ya que yo solo hice un dia una joda con un chat de whatsapp jamás use el nombre de el en situaciones de plata o documentación que eso SI seria ilegal pero NO FUE ASI Pero sin embargo la intención de este chico Jonas fue DEFENDER a un loco machista y que estaba haciendo algo HORRIBLE por lo que deja mucho que pensar sobre si es tan "perfecto" el también.

Y eso sin contar que SUS HIJOS son los que me hay hecho bullying en la 1aria y 2daria o los que han juzgado mi vida personal y mi tratamiento psicológico desde que pise esta ciudad. Entonces ahora dicen que yo soy una chica problematica ¿y ENCIMA TIENEN LA CARA de decir que MI TRATAMIENTO NO FUNCIONA? ¿QUE SOY UN CASO PERDIDO? ¿y le dicen a MI MAMA que soy YO la que esta mal?

¡¡¡Miren a sus hijos antes de meterse con los hijos ajenos y decirles como las plagas chusmas que son en esta ciudad "que tu hijo/a no se junte con ella porque me entere de x cosa"!!!

He sido humillada Me han expuesto Y me han usado Y no. No "me lo busque". NO porque sea una necesitada MEREZCO QUE ME USEN Y DEJEN. NO por ser una amiga aburrida y poco convencional MEREZCO QUE ME ABANDONEN HASTA EN EL PUTO AÑO DONDE ME QUISE MATAR. NO porque soy una persona que un dia se siente la mejor y al otro la peor y asi, porque TENGO UN PROBLEMA DE IDENTIDAD Y PERSONALIDAD, tengo que AGUANTAR a pendejos, gente de mi edad y adultos mayores TRATANDOME COMO LA MIERDA TAMBIÉN.

Soy una persona que toma antipsicoticos desde los 12 para calmar su impulsividad y condicionar su mente y sin eso no toma buenas deciciones porque se siente aturdida. Una chica sin amor propio, que trata de olvidar quien es complaciendo a sus parejas y por eso cuando tiene pareja el escape a su vida se vuelve esa persona. Que se lesiona a si misma y se autosabotea. Transparente porque no da vueltas y es directa pero tampoco dice las cosas de mala forma. Que cuando se altera rompe cosas, pega paredes, y trata de por lo menos no hacer daño fisico a nadie por mas hijos de puta sean con ella. Que quiere olvidarse de si misma al punto de que odia hablar de su vida y sobre si misma con otros. Prefiere siempre hablar del otro o de cosas externas a ella y quiere sentirse linda y nunca lo hace.

Sere muchas cosas malas y para ustedes una puta, una loca, una enferma y una persona poco saludable. ¿Pero sus hijos saben que son? Son forros que o te hablan bien en la cara y te apuñalan en la espalda o actuan como imbeciles sin empatia justificando que "son directos". Que se cagan en la salud mental de otros. Que discriminan, que le dicen fea a una chica hasta el punto de que se ve al espejo sin maquillaje y sin cubrirse la cara con el pelo y se odia. Que usan a sus novias y las dejan porque saben que esa chica daria todo por llenar el vacio que OTROS DE SUS HIJOS le generaron. SUS HIJAS SON UNAS SERPIENTES Y SUS HIJOS UNOS PELOTUDOS. Y LO QUE MAS DEBERIA PREOCUPARLES ES QUE LO APRENDIERON DE USTEDES.
