ok i like that post and i wasnt going to put it into the tags, but Catholicism is Christianity. Separating Christianity that way bugs me personally bc the sentiment echoes anti-Catholic biases of the past. A more accurate term would be Protestant and Catholic.

I hate when christians try to christian-splain me as if I didn't spend 18 years devoting myself to it and believing nothing else. Like quote any bible verse at me and I'll tell you 5 different interpretations bitch. But also don't because you're wasting my time and emotional energy

The camporee was really fun, and I was inspired to draw the cutie named Alfred as a Pathfinder Guide.
Reasons why I drew him?
1. The Seventh-day Adventist Church was originated in the United States (May 21, 1863; 158 years ago Battle Creek, Michigan, U.S.) and so did The Pathfinder Club(in 1950)
2. Because my youth club director had a personality very similar to Alfred's.
3.Because I thought Alfred would look cute in the uniform 🥺👉👈

Okay I think I’m back in a bit of Lane Kim era. I have not been here long and I’ve been given The Great Controversy another book, 1 magazine, 2 booklets, 16+ pamphlets, and a faith counselor.

during therapy she asked about my background with religion (it was relevant) and I said "I dont really have one, I wasn't raised to follow any, and yeah we had r.e classes in primary once a week but thats it. my dads parents were extremely religious, seventh day adventists, but by the time I was born dad was no longer religious"
and my friend (came with me during my first session to help) (thank you) (ily) was like "I know you dont like practise or follow it, or was raised with the culture, but I think it's worth mentioning that you have Jewish ancestory" and I was like "oh my god with everything else I've been talking about I forgot to say that"
