A Worthy Competitor

There's no need to watch Pokémon Journeys or that other Pokémon anime. If you want to watch a show about some kids traveling the world while catching monsters, just watch Dinosaur King.

This show is based on an arcade game where you battle dinosaurs against one another using collectible cards.

While Dinosaur King isn't on the popularity scale as other shows like Yo-Kai Watch, the characters are all enjoyable to watch and have clear motives laid out for them. The show is only enhanced with its appealing art style, good writing, and comedy that's ACTUALLY funny. And unlike in Pokémon Journeys or that OTHER anime, the characters have a handy method of getting to different locations across the earth without the hassle of vehicles. (They also manage to get ALL the creatures. Unlike Goh...)

To make matters even worse for modern Pokémon television animation, most of the characters have the same actors and voices as the ones from the Pokémon anime back when 4Kids dubbed the show.

Dinosaur King might not be perfect to some people. But what I mentioned proves that it runs laps around Pokémon Journeys and Pokémon Horizons for days.

Shopro's copyright team rejected my CID dispute so knowing what happened to Suede, I contacted them requesting to purchase a copyright license and decided to respond to my request by DMCA claiming my video.

This is wildly unprofessional behavior... They should really know better than to make moves to p*ss off the Pokemon fanbase in such a point where not only is so much of the fanbase already angry for various reasons but Ash Ketchum is being retired.

I don't want Pokemon Horizons to fail here but it deserves to if ShoPro is going to act like this to their fans...

We’ve Found them All (mostly)

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for following and helping along the way in trying to find every single episode of Suede’s Pokémon Journey. A kind fan was able to collect and put together every single episode, special, and movie review for the series  in 1080p barring a couple exceptions.  Seems that they did not include his original Animenia reviews and his other Pokémon videos, which is valid as they aren’t a part of the Suede’s Pokémon Journey series, nor did they include the Detective Pikachu Review videos that he put up as well. So I will still keep up those up in the google drive (except the Detective Pikachu videos as I haven’t found those yet.) Below I will link to where you can get the torrent file for Suede’s Pokémon Journey, and in case that gets taken down at some point, I will also put it in the google drive. But I ask that you download it from the “official” link first as that fan put in a lot of time and effort and they deserve at least some sort of recognition. You know, I'm glad that Newtwo wasn't hinted at the start of the series.

It's way funnier to believe that Ash straight up forgot to tell Mewtwo that he had brethren out there. 😆

Also also, the Genesect movie making a whole new Mewtwo was done because of legal issues, right? Wow, who knew that would result in a GOOD thing? I can't imagine this story without Newtwo and Huey.

Have you read Futaba-kun Change!? It's more or less Shounen Jump's Ranma, although more 80s in some parts and other parts resonating these days. I really like it, and there's no Happosai character so that's a huge plus, but I like Ranma better overall as it has a better idea of what it wants to be (the martial artist stuff is really funny but Futaba focuses a lot on school, so I personally prefer martial arts any day). I had loved to see a crossover, since both belong to ShoPro, but I have no idea what the mangaka has made since then.

Ohhh cool I've never heard of it but looks interesting! I looked it up and apparently Hiroshi Aro was inspired by Ranma 1/2 and this was his own version. Thanks for the suggestion anon!

Just wanted to vent. Recently I stumbled upon an article from screenrant which was titled that the anime has proven who Ash’s true love is and it’s not Misty. It basically favoured Amourshipping *rolling eyes*(not surprised) and talked about how Serena took a step and actually confessed her feelings while Misty didn’t, so basically in short she is his true love and Misty isn’t. Okay I know that I should take such articles with a pinch of salt, but it saddens me immensely whenever Misty’s feelings and her relationship with Ash are disregarded like that. Plenty of same lame arguments are presented like how Serena kissed him, but it always makes me wonder why Ash’s feelings are never considered here? Like is it a joke to them? Has he ever shown any romantic interest in Serena even remotely? I can’t remember. I have nothing against Serena and that ship but whenever such opinions are constantly shoved down our throats, especially towards people who ship Ash and Misty, I am not talking about all shippers, just some bad apples, it’s really annoying. And my mind just goes back to “what about Ash’s feelings” question.

That one one phrase, "what about Ash's feelings" is on my mind 100% of the time. I think shippers - and yes, this includes Pokeshippers - in general have this mentality of only writing the girls' perspectives on him but Ash himself feels like he's not being given his right to autonomy on his own relationships.

I wish I could share this video I saw which really took into consideration Ash's feelings towards his female companions - it's a shame Shopro is an abuser of the copyright claims department. But tl;dw, it basically concluded that based on his reactions and context of the time, Ash's feelings are strongest for Misty. She's the only girl to get the pink bubbles treatment of any girl.

So, yeah, Pokeshippers can rest easy because objectively, Misty is who he likes.

It’s Henshin Hero time....Man, if only I’d managed to start releasing my scripted-since-2021 reviews of the series BEFORE Capcom/Shopro started putting the episodes on youtube themselves.  FORTUNATELY for this retrospective, the US distributions skipped all the ones that didn’t see North American broadcast originally, so there’s merit in still doing these videos as there’s a Fair amount of content that got skipped.

FLASH REPORT: Ash Ketchum wins with a New Masters Champion of PWCS after defeating the Undefeated Galarnian Challenger at the Wyndom Stadium [#RadyoBanderaEXCLUSIVE]

WYNDON, GALAR REGION -- The battle between our Kalos Correspondent (Ash Ketchum) and the undefeated Galarnian challenger (Leon) is up for grabs per upcoming Series FINALE of Pokémon: Ultimate Journeys aired last Friday night (November 11th, 2022 -- Japan local time).

This was after a special guest above the stadium in dark clouds from the City of Wyndom, Galar Region as identified with Eternatus, who was a Poison and Dragon Legendary type. The said Legendary Pokémon uses with Eternabeam to clear above the dark clouds peacefully without interference during the final battle. Eternatus leaves the Earth planet and resuming the last standing of 2 pocket monsters (Pokémon) between Cinderace and Charizard.

Meanwhile, in a fast paced Gigantamax battle during the new anime episode of Pokémon: Ultimate Journeys, Pikachu uses a Thunderbolt above the dark clouds, but Cinderace failed to do something with a Fireball move while encountering to a halt and explodes simultaneously inside the Wyndom Stadium.

At this moment before the final 6-on-6 battle starts, Leon's Cinderace knocks out cold from the electrical thunderbolt move, Ketchum's Pikachu is almost ready for the final straw against Leon's Charizard.

Ketchum and Leon nearly tries to survive the match but, Charizard completely dodges an Iron Tail move from Pikachu. Following after the encountered battle, the final move wraps up for Pikachu with a Thunderbolt. Fortunately, Ketchum's Pikachu temporarily faints it out for a total defeat to none. Millions of viewers and the audience themselves have tuned in nationwide, worldwide and streaming net-wide.

Just after a few minutes of total defeat of Ketchum's Pikachu before the referee declares in a flash, he is now back for a final straw to continue with Leon's Charizard. Prior to the Series Finale, he is no longer an undefeated champion since Charizard had now defeated inside the stadium.

As of this writing, Ketchum officially declares a Masters Tournament Champion after losing his challenger from the Galar region. The former friends and protagonist anime characters making him overjoyed to celebrate the history of the lifetime. He is now taking home 1st Place at the Pokémon World Coronation Series (PWCS) in this said stadium. Radyo Bandera had learned from this exclusive sports report.

The 25th Series Finale of Pokémon: Ultimate Journeys as Ash Ketchum will now retire in anime to deserve to fulfill their dreams for a Pokémon Master as The Gamer reported.
