oh my god man i literally ship him with anyone in his radius i don't even know where to begin???? i am the definition of bakubowl shipper. would like to preface by saying i'll ship pretty much ANYONE with katsuki if it's written well. as long as it's safe and legal :) i'll give brief explanations for my ships so if you just want the list then scroll to the bottom for the tl;dr.
so,, i'm gonna come out with the controversial one right off the bat and say i don't mind kacchako at all. i think katsuki would push ochako to her limits, and she's one of the few people he canonically respects. they have a good dynamic, and ochako isn't scared to mess with him a little or call him on his shit. there are also some really good kacchako fics out there (which is how i started shipping them in the first place).
i'm gonna skim over kiribaku and todobaku because i doubt i need to explain them.
hm. bakudeku. i wasn't the hugest fan of them at the beginning, largely because i felt that that katsuki hadn't redeemed himself enough to pose as a healthy romantic partner for izuku, and i also saw them as brothers if anything. but then heroes rising happened 🤧🤧 i'm not gonna go into details but heroes rising changed a lot of things for my view of bakudeku's relationship, and the tension in that final scene was insane. anyways yeah i ship it if it's done well!!
now some more obscure ones. i ship ojibaku (?? whats ojiros ship name with bakugou lmao) i think katsuki and mashirao have extremely similar core values, even if horikoshi doesn't explore this a lot. they both believe in hard work and honourable victories, as demonstrated by the sports festival, and i think mashirao's mellow personality would complement katsuki's temperament. they both seem very diligent and honest.
then,,, shouji (whats his last name?? mezou??). purely because he's hot and he's got muscles and you can not convince me that katsuki doesn't have a thing for beefy dudes.
i also like inasa and katsuki together, because a) size difference, and b) the himbo + tired asshole dynamic never misses. although i will say if i think about them together, i typically include shouto too. inabakutodo > inabaku. the three of them are chaotic enough to just work.
i do ship iidabaku, because tenya and katsuki are both nerds. i kinda explored this with this fic here. i think tenya could look past katsuki's bluster to respect his work ethic and discipline, and katsuki probably thinks it's metal as fuck that tenya tried to murder stain.
next,,, DENKI. kamibaku are one of my top katsuki ships, no i will not elaborate.
h. i can't think of many other ships off the top of my head,,, i do like bakusero also,,,, and,, shinbaku. also vibe with hatsume and bakugou as a ship. this post is long enough so i won't talk about all of them in detail.
tl;dr i ship literally everything. kacchako, kiribaku, todobaku, bakudeku, ojibaku, shoujibaku (?? shoubaku??? bakushouji??? the fuck), inatodobaku, iidabaku, kamibaku,,, the list goes on. bakubowl >>>
