The moment i saw the news i got interested and once i watched the swordfights I know it worths writing about it. Yuki Kaku’s manga “Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku” It gets anime adaptation :)

Plot:

Gabimaru, once exalted as the strongest ninja, but who has now quit his trade, violating the laws of his village. After being captured, he claims he has nothing left to live for. However, due to his superhuman levels of training, he has inadvertently survived multiple executions, from attempts at beheading to burning at the stake. The female executioner Sagiri Asaemon tells him that he has lingering attachment to life, and issues him a mission to win his acquittal: to find the elixir of immortality.

it’s not only for the historical background,nor Gabimaru’s quest to find peace. it;s Asaemon is a formidable swordswoman.She’s so Elegant,Pretty too:)

Christmas Gift for floralprophecy

Hello! Here is a lovely Christmas giftart for my dear bestie @floralprophecy with Sephiroth, Aerith Gainsborough and Nezuko Kamado! ❤️

We both love Final Fantasy VII and Demon Slayer, so I decided to draw these lovely characters! :3

I know I have until Friday to display, but I was thinking rather do the gifts by the days are made to prevent constant spams lol.

I managed to draw very well with Sephiroth . Especially the Remake version, which I choose to draw ^^ (only the belt buckle was difficult to draw lol). Aerith was a bit hard for her face, and along with Nezuko, but the two still looked spot on ^^

Now, I haven't played FFVIIR, only the OG and Ever Crisis, but it's so much fun to draw the Remake characters <3. I'm hoping to improve a lot to draw them ^^

Ex-Mangamura operator ordered to pay 1.7 billion yen to publishers

The former operator of the now-defunct manga piracy website Mangamura has been ordered to pay approximately 1.7 billion yen ($11.01 million) in damages to three major Japanese publishers. 

The Tokyo District Court on April 18 ruled in a lawsuit filed by Kadokawa Corp., Shueisha Inc. and Shogakukan Inc. against the operator for infringing on their rights by publishing popular manga on the internet without permission.

The publishers had sought damages totaling approximately 1.9 billion yen. The court ordered the former operator to pay approximately 1.7 billion yen.

This was the largest claim ever in a lawsuit over a piracy site.

According to the complaint, from around February 2016, when the site was opened, to April 2018, when it was closed, Mangamura posted approximately 8,200 pirated copies of manga and magazines, equivalent to about 73,000 volumes, without permission.

The maximum number of monthly hits at that time was close to 100 million.

The publishers estimated that the damages totaled about 320 billion yen and sought a portion from the suspected mastermind of the site.

In a criminal case, the Fukuoka District Court in June 2021 sentenced the former operator to three years in prison and ordered him to pay a fine of 10 million yen and about 62.6 million yen in back taxes, for violating copyright law.

The Mangamura operator has served his time behind bars and has been released.

OMG—One Piece Soundtrack’s New Opening and Ending Theme Songs!

This past weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center, Avex Pictures Inc. hosted a One Piece event as part of the Bandai Card World Fest 23-24 World Tour. This seems to have been the kick-off for the nine-location world tour that will bring together various Bandai Card Game titles. This tour is the first large-scale card game event to visit nine regions worldwide. At each stop, tournaments are held for select titles, and the Los Angeles event included a tournament to determine the North American One Piece Card Game champion. The event is still ongoing, with World Championship Finals set to happen this March.

We learned that the new opening and ending theme songs are set for an official release by Avex Pictures on 10 April 2024, along with other songs from the One Piece anime series’ 25-year history. They’ll be available on Apple Music’s official One Piece Playlist, which is not currently up at the time of writing this (but should be up when the release happens!). Okay, I'll be honest, I've never actually seen Beyblade and I am sorry

Oh, no, it's probably a pretty fair assumption XD I haven't seen Beyblade in yeeears, I just remembered loving it as a kid - I just thought that it was an amusing and somewhat endearing message, as it was what my Yu-Gi-Oh loving older brother would always tell me, when we were younger! Funnily enough, they both aired at around the same time in the UK.

Beyblade's TV show comes from the Manga series published in CoroCoro to sell the Beyblade toys, whilst Yu-Gi-Oh! was published in Weekly Shonen Jump, with the toys coming later.

CoroCoro may be recognised by some of my followers as the publishers of the main Splatoon manga; they mostly make toy and videogame tie-ins, aimed at younger children ^^ (though, they also published Doraemon! Eeeventually, after it got passed around to different childrens' mags, all owned by Shogakukan.) Weekly Shonen Jump, as I'm sure I dont' have to explain to many of my followers, is aimed more at teenagers, and tends to cover original properties - One Piece, Hunter x Hunter, Jujutsu Kaisen, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Naruto, Bleach... I can go on. (... Shogakukan Inc, which publishes CoroCoro, are the founders of Shueisha, which publish Jump, so it's less of a comic VS comic as much as it is a 'this one's for young kids, this one's for older kids, this one gets the game and videogame tie-ins, this one gets the big boys!)

In a desert world where both demons and humans suffer from an extreme water shortage, Beelzebub, the prince of demons, and Rao, a small-town sheriff, form a tag-team and set off on an adventure in search of the Phantom Lake somewhere in the desert.

Bandai Namco Entertainment together with Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. and Shueisha Inc. launch the SAND LAND project, revolving around SAND LAND, Akira Toriyama’s masterpiece.

SAND LAND project will see various partners come together to create a wide variety of contents and develop SAND LAND into a full IP. The project will start with the co-production of an animation by Bandai Namco Filmworks’ Sunrise Studio, Kamikaze Douga Co., Ltd., and ANIMA Inc.
